I went to watch a USA World Cup game and would def go back. I highly recommend making reservations for any game time viewing. And it is LOUD. Despite how busy it got, service was very quick. SOOOO many TVs you will be able to see the game no matter where you turn.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is such a dope place to watch games and hang out with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The screens are huge and there's plenty of space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food wasn't great. I got the nachos and the cheese tasted very cheap and flavorless. I also grabbed a drink and it was quite costly. Between my fiance and I we spent like $120 for nachos and 3 drinks. Didn't feel completely worth it but what can you expect with a restaurant directly next to the AAC

Came here during a 2nd quarter of the mavs game, so it was very very quiet, but it makes sense-they will be busy before and after the mavs game. We were instantly served-the bartender made me a strawberry cosmo. Amazing! We sat for a few minutes and then had to run to the game before half time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is spacious and the bartender was so nice![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The price of the drinks are high, but not as high as in the venue for the game, which is why we stopped before going to the game. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is luxurious and sporty at the same time, it's a great place to grab drinks pre game![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Perfect spot to pregame before a game. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even right before game time it's never overly crowded.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Typical bar food and the service is a bit slow but given the crowds that's kinda expected. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Always good vibes here![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We went for a concert (Twice) and got there early, we got hungry and decided to see what they offered and it didn't disappoint!! We got the tender 1lb basket came with fries for both of us for $20 dollars. The food came out fast and wasn't as packed for a concert. The waitress was nice too. There's games and bowling and more. Overall had a good meal

I really like this bar! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is super cool for drinks and a good time for after Mavericks game hang out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food could improve but what do you expect from bar food? The ahi tuna tostadas are pricey for only 5 pieces. The tostadas have a good crunch to it but the tuna doesn't taste super fresh. If they actually gave us like a whole plate of tostadas with said toppings it might help. The tuna needs to be swapped out for some fresh ones. We got a pound of tenders and it was good but I really like their tater tots! Was Surprise at how good the tots were! I saw someone else got the fries but they didn't look too appealing

I must admit, being this close to the American Airlines center I was not expecting much. But let me say that this place is great at what they do! They are the perfect place to go catch a game or pre-game before a game. The food is fantastic which really surprised me. The build your own bowl is a great deal with so many combinations. The service was great and very attentive and I felt everything was reasonably priced. I will absolutely go back!

Came for pre-game dinner prior to Stars. I was really surprised at how well organized they were and how quickly we were seated. Order taken quickly. Ice cold beer on tap and a really great burger and large portion of fries. Wait staff was friendly and helpful.

Hero by HG is a sports bar that benefits from nailing the first rule of real estate: location, location, location. Located right outside the American Airlines Center at PNC Plaza across from the statue of Dirk, Hero is a great place to go before and during a Dallas Mavericks or Stars Game. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere - On game day (only time I've been), the atmosphere is electric. Fans are outside the plaza, inside the restaurant, and the doors are open to welcome you in. Inside is a sports fan's paradise. There are a plethora of flat screen TVs everywhere, tons of seating (booth/table/bar), and a cool bar with a video board that wraps around it 360 degrees[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. 1 Star. Service - I arrived early 5:30 (game at 7:30), and while they weren't busy, they were slow. As gametime grew closer, Hero filled up and service was even slower. The staff was super nice, just slow. 1/2 Star. Food - It's a sports bar with sports bar food. We started with the Super Bowl Nachos with ground beef. The huge portion was easily sharable within my party of three. There were generous portions of everything. But in the end, it was still just nachos. I went with the chicken strips, which were very good. The strips were a big size, were hot and juicy, and came with tasty tater tots. The tots were excellent. Not greasy, crisp on the outside and piping hot on the inside. The tots were the hit of my meal. The only negative was the pricing. There's a cost to the location (and inflation). Our meal was $90 for nachos, two sandwiches, and my chicken strips. Still - I was very satisfied with my meal. 1 1/2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I wouldn't return for the food, but I would return for the atmosphere and location. Hero is right next to Dirk, the AAC, and is a great place to go if you want to soak in a full game day. 1 Star.

This is a sports bar but as you can see they play whatever is popular lol [[HIGHLIGHT]]I went to a love island watch party and it was amazing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Themed cocktails, plenty space for large groups.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will be back. AND the food was above average yet didn't cost you an arm and a leg. It's a great spot! Service was great, professional and fast.

Location Just outside American Airlines Center, Dallas Parking Take the DART and walk Service Outstanding Menu Note-happy hour menus-off season We had the tuna tostadas-loaded. The salad kept on going-we shared and had to get a to go container. Summary [[HIGHLIGHT]]New fav sports bar Dallas downtown. See you there![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Great for pre concert drinks and food at AAC. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very spacious and lots of different rooms, some with games.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food tastes good and the service is fast and efficient.

Hero by HG is a massive indoor outdoor restaurant bar venue focusing on farm fresh food and drinks. They are located off the main entrance in by the American Airlines Center. This is a perfect place to attend a d pregame before catching a Maverick game, a Stars game, or even a concert. The bar sits right in the AAC area, and you can't miss it with the big lighted signs in front of the bar. We came here before a Stars game to get some quick drinks and were serviced at the outside bar. The place was packed with Stars fans wearing their Victory Green jerseys coming in and out of the bar enjoying themselves. The service was quick and efficient, and drinks were served with a smile by the lovely bartenders. They have indoor seating inside the restaurant and bar seating as well and have a patio bar adjacent to the arena, which is great for people watching and enjoying the outdoors. The prices were decent for drinks and probably cheaper than what you would pay inside AAC. The bartenders were friendly and eager to serve you and kept the drinks coming. Im looking to come back here again and maybe try out some food off the menu and enjoy my time here before I watch another Dallas Stars game.

Silly ole me asked if onion cups could be provided and the resturant obliged, thank-you! Now for the taste test. The shrimp and pork dumplings were well packed with the protein. They dressed it well in sauces too! As I placed my dumpling in the onion cup i can say the sharpness of the onion meshed well. The crunch also brought another level texture to a soft dumpling. Now this is usually done with soup dumplings but when I say its a trend it ended diverting from the original post. Regardless, the restaurantet let me be silly and I appreciated it! As for our pizza, not to sound like im a pizza critic but this was a good one. The slice held well the toppings were fresh, especially the basil! It was thin and airy. They do not have a brick oven in case you were wondering. It didn't matter to me. I enjoyed my pizza! The cocktails were spot on in liquor and flavor balance. Visited Hendys on Henderson with some friends for happy hour recently and we had a great time with delicious food, good drinks, and great atmosphere. Firstly for appetizers/small plates, we ordered the burrata (this dish seems to be seasonal with the menu alternating between different fruit accompanying the burrata every few months or so; during our visit, it was paired with apple). We also tried the pretzel calamari (I was very curious what about this made it pretzel inspired as I've never seen this combo before but we discovered it was cooked in a pretzel coating, and it was definitely worth trying) and the Hendys Tendys (served with Texas toast and fries). For drinks if you like spicy and savory, you can't beat the spicy pickle margarita which has tequila, orange liqueur, muddled jalapeño, pickle juice, lime, agave syrup and garnished with gherkins (small pickled cucumbers similar to cornichons) and a Thai chili. Don't worry about it being too spicy as it's a perfect blend of tangy with a slight kick. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other drinks and main menu items.
