We have been having problems with our heat Pump since we had it installed with many visits from the big installers from the area with no avail. Finally decided to try another service company.Tony from Hero Heating and Air was the first to respond on Yelp. Came out the next day( Saturday) to see what the problem was. Because the problem was the heat pump was freezing up he needed a day to fix the problem to let it thaw. Following day he came out fixed the problem and said if there is any more troubles give him a call. NO problems so far, time will tell with weather, But from how he explained what he thinks what the problem is I have confidence he fixed it. A/C went out and after being passed around by my ServicePlus Home Warranty (it had nothing to do with Hero Heating and Air). They finally assigned Hero as our service provider. The temperature outside was 100 degrees every day and I knew it would be a hard time to even get any company to look at it. Tony and his team was out at 8am the next morning. Unfortunately we had a blown compressor and it was a R-22 compressor (we knew we would have to replace it at some point). Hero was out in less than 48 hours to replace it and converted it to R-410a. His pricing was great, and set up competitive financing only they replaced only what was needed and did not try to add on extras to increase the bill. We were back to temperature from 85 degrees to 70 by noon the day of install. Had a small issue 2 days after and he came to check it out a few hours after I called (the problem was in my Google Nest settings) Tony didn't charge me a service call for that or on the original diagnosis. He was more interested in getting my A/C up and running. I couldn't find anything negative to say about Hero and Tony Hall the owner. I will recommend him to anyone needing HVAC work done. read more
