By far the best gym I've ever joined!! The trainers are all very hands on and see you as someone who has taken that first step to achieve a better lifestyle. And from then on they are with you every step of the way telling you, "you can do this" and somehow convincing you that you can even when your brain is heavy on the defense aha. It's a nice place to work out, just like a normal gym. Trainers are good, ask for ET or Darren those are good. I joined the six week challenge, j was promising accountability but was never checked on how am I doing with my meals. Got me installed every app i did all the calorie entry in the app but they never looked at if I am doing right? There is a machine error of +-2% and that which they don't want to admit, i was missed by 0.2% which was justified by the error even if take the upper band. I looked into the machines documents and could've proved but they don't want to listen cuz they were getting the money. 3 star cuz i lost weight and body fat, thanks for that but i felt like cheated on. So trainers are good, upto some point staff is good but don't just believe whatever they promise you. read more

I was super excited to come to this bootcamp when I signed , unfortunately I don't suggested to anyone ! I was not once explained the cancellation process . I attended to 2 classes in 1 month I literally was not able to go due to been short staff later I had to switch jobs that were not close to my house so I was not able to attend nor the morning nor the evening bootcamp. I imm contacted Karen via message informing her I wanted to cancel she asked me to come in and go through our cancellation process . When I went Karen had to leave all the sudden and some skinny Colombian lady was trying to explain to me that I was in a contract that I was never informed had fees to cancel . She said since I only came in one month I had to pay half of the amount of the six months even tho I was canceling ! She said I had to pay total of $680 and of course I said y and they were trying to tell me a whole lot of things . I honestly think they are just a bunch of thieves for not explaining some very important they take advantage that ppl need them and instead of helping or pausing my payment till I found a better chance to return they charged me twice in a fucking month . $500 for nothing . Be careful with ppl like this that don't explain shit . By the way the facility is very dirty when it comes to equipment they don't have any type of cleaning wipes after each use , everyone there sweats like crazy and the equipment stays dirty . hope this helps if you are looking for a place where to join and put ur money at . I can imagine it might be everything they boast themselves to be, but to be honest i don't think i have ever heard of a gym that fat shames their customers. In order to be approved for their "free 6 week challenge" you have to have a certain BMI. Which is fine, no problem with that but if your potential client is over what you want you should work on trying to keep them or even encourage and pursue those clients further and even more. Also the plans that they offer outside of the "free challenge" are insanely costly. Commercial gyms will welcome you with a much more positive attitude, and on top of that places like planet fitness offer personal trainers for FREE. Ok you were on TV. OK you think you are great but i need a gym that's not only for the people that are guaranteed to be a success story. I need a gym where my mom, my dad, my friend, my neighbor no matter what shape, color, or BMI they may be. With that said best of luck to all those who do pursue this challenge. This may be my personal experience maybe 1 out of 1000 like i read in another comment but imagine this being you or someone you care about who has just committed to changing and pursuing a better lifestyle and ending up in a place with judment like this. FYI- as soon as you sign up for a consultation be prepared to be harrassed until you show up. Im talking about 5 different text messages 3 different emails. It was way too much in my personal experience when i was not even committed to the consultation. (And to the gym- Do not bother responding. The FREE 6 week program is a TOTAL Scam and waste of time. The Challenge is not FREE, which is basically false advertising. These people forced me to pay for an InBody fitness test (which I never even received the results) without notifying me prior to what the cost of the test was. Vivian is VERY RUDE and need some customer service training. She is probably the one responding rudely to these reviews. LOL. Who actually wants to spend their money somewhere when the administrators cant even resolve issues but makes them worse. WAKE UP, you are tarnishing the brand and company. READ the reviews, and stop being defensive. Don't waste your time because if they really valued customers and their fitness journey, they wouldn't FORCE you to pay for something that you have concerns about (most gyms offer a free 1 time session as well, HERO doesnt). Most other businesses value reviews and want to figure out how to resolve the issue, NOT Hero and Vivian though. read more

I absolutely love this gym. My trainer Jordan is AMAZING! He is constantly pushing me and holds me accountable. I have always worked out on and off but since coming to this gym I have gotten real and noticeable results. I am 3 weeks into the program and loving my progress so far! The whole atmosphere of the gym is great. The group sessions are unreal! You will definitely get a good sweat in and the trainers make sure you're having a good time and staying motivated. I took one star off because of the way Mike spoke to me when I got there. I went in due to the promotion of "FREE SIX" weeks. Mike basically said if I don't have money for it then it wasn't for me?? I went there because I wanted to start working out so of course it is a place I wanted to be at but the way he was approaching me almost made me say no. Good thing he walked out the office and I continued to work with Josh then I saw my friend signing so I did too. Second star is off because I felt forgotten. They were suppose to give me a call to schedule my weighing 2 times and both times I had to reach out to remind them. Having played football in you my youth, I'm familiar with the basics of proper form etc. but as I've aged and my needs have changed. I can no longer lift the same way. AD was able to provide me with a program that served my current needs and his energy kept me engaged throughout our session. I have been going to this gym for 4 months now and I love it!! I started with the 6 week challenge and lost a total of 21lbs and 2% body fat. So I decided to join the gym and do the small group program with ET(who is wonderful by the way and the workouts are the best) and work on strengthening and conditioning. I have continued to lose weight and body fat along with building muscle! The trainers are the best and everybody there is wonderful and friendly!! They are knowledgeable and work with you on what works best with your body. I also do the 9am group training class with Leo who is also a great trainer and has you working hard. I have made so many friends at the gym also! The programs have a lot of perks to keep you on track. Well Hero's trainers played a huge role in my accomplishment. Not only are they determined to help you reach your goal but are extremely passionate about seeing people live healthier and happier! Yes it is up to one to follow their diet and out in their part, which it is not hard to do when communication with the trainers is always at your reach. They are constantly asking how are you feeling, are following your diet & if your doing your at home work outs when your not in their gym, that's MOTIVATION! Not sure about the rating yet. I start on Tuesday. The location and hours are ideal and they do not appear to micromanage you unless you want that one on one personal touch. The cost is higher than expected for two of the optional programs, but those programs do offer lots of assistance with meal plans, weigh ins, phone calls, text, FB group, etc. I'm looking forward to the 6 week challenge...which does require you to buy a program of some kind in order to participate in the advertised free 6 weeks...remember they are a business and free is never really free. I'm still excited and knew what to expect, especially when it comes to advertising. Staff was friendly, explained the program options and listened to my concerns. Mike and the friendly young lady, I apologize for not writing your name down, were candid and understood my point of view, even if they didn't necessarily agree. I didn't feel rushed or unimportant, as It appeared (at least at the time I was there) I was to the oldest person and possibly the most out of shape of everyone else there at that time. Hero Performance is mostly geared towards people who want to lose weight. If you scroll through their social media, about 95% of the people want to lose. But me, I wanted to gain. You pay $500 upfront for the 6 weeks challenge that they don't advertise. They tell you when you get there. (Which I think is a bit much for group training classes, it would be different if it was one on one training) but you get your money back at the end if you meet the goal that THEY have set for you. I then asked if I can change my goal to something more realistic because I was informed by another client there that I wouldn't get my money back unless I reached the goal they set. But I was told no. For me to gain 12 pounds in 6 weeks was a reach. I know my body. I kept up with my meals etc. I bought meal prep from them which was $45/week for 5 meals. But majority people in the classes want to lose weight so it's not like I'm doing any heavy bulking. I just wish there was a separate plan & separate classes for the people that do want to gain weight! Maybe this is something they can add on in the future. Unfortunately I didn't get my money back. (did you ask her?) yes you did tell me you would honor the sessions...but Vivian did not return texts or calls when she did call she said she was asleep and busy with the family a retreat she had with the hubby ask her. I did file a claim to take payment back due to the fact I was not being responded to...I did post on my ig that I found a real trainer cause now I can do lunges and squats with no knee pain. I was so excited about it that I had to post it...,.if I was trying to hide anything from you or Vivian I wouldn't of posted. The whole reason why I went to a new gym was because of calls and texts not being returned..,I have that on a text letting Vivian know that I had join other gym and I thought she was not going to call me no more.., if you would like I would screenshot for you so you can see ...Yes you did call me multiple times but you were not calling me to schedule a work out you were calling me to get a new debit card number you and David. Vivian told me that's why you were calling I even have a voicemail from David asking me for the new debit number yes I did state that y'all were far after going for a couple of sessions and I also mentioned to you that I was going to be back for the summer..because I was not going to be working do you recall? And yes I did cancel payment on your business because I paid you for sessions that I was not going to get the calls and texts were not being return that left me with no choice but to cancel my payment and as far as I am concerned I did sign 30 day notice form Vivian gave me to sign I did not read it cause I trusted her and was press for time. I can understand that's this is how you feed your family but for you send me to a collection agency for $480 that I don't even owe you in fact you owe me $80 for two workouts that I never did is totally a lie. Vivian did call me and tell me that you were going to send me to a collection agency that's why I paid you but then when I did not receive any calls as to when I can go for the work out that's when I cancel the payment once again get that threw your head... have a talk with Vivian do a investigation employee protocol ask her! I hope she will tell you the truth because she is a Christian. I did not quit I told Vivian that I was going to be using those workouts that I paid for and continue at my new gym... she told me that you said that it was conflict of interest for me to be going to both gyms why should that even matter to you you had already received my money...and even kept $80 I never used ck your records. And yes me as a business owner for 20 years can understand...but If I have a employee that Mislead my clients ...and my client explained the situation to me I was not going to send my client to a collection agency... I was going to fix the problem talk to the employee and train the employee how to handle your business...your company ...your cash cow..and I never said you were not doing a good thing in changing lives and you do it with pride ... but I have pride to and the TRUTH NEEDS TO BE TOLD THE FACTS I still have text messages voicemails and I can send them to you and I can screenshot everything so that you can see what was said .... sending me to a collection agency was totally unprofessional and petty. As far as you saying that you cannot please everyone referring to me You could have! and still can! all you have to do with sit down with Vivian and ask her what REALLY HAPPENED I would be happy to sit with yall...this all could've been avoided but instead you send me to a collection agency because you did not get my business and the reason why you did not get my business is because Calls n text were not being returned ....I have been working with Vivian for over eight months and I've been very Active in my workouts I know how she immediately returns my text and my calls I know her very well I know her protocol as far as returning texts and calls we had already agreed for me to go back and work out in her garage... but that did not work out either because she knew that she was in the wrong for not returning calls or texts I suggest you talk to her so that she can tell you what really went on if she does not want to tell you the truth then that is her prerogative .,,but as far as in me I am telling the truth and I got receipts to prove it..... before you plan to send a other client to a collection agency for monies that is not even owed to you ...I suggest you do an investigation business owner to business owner YOU CAN STILL FIX THIS I'm a very understanding person and I would not be in business for 20 years if I wasn't May GOD bless you as well peace out. read more
