Great experience! This restaurant is located around the corner right off the main strip in town. The entrance is simple and unimposing so you could miss it if you aren't looking for it. The inside is small with about 6 booths and 6 tables. The decor is basic and the walls are adorned with large photos of their pancake stacks. Service was prompt and friendly. A young man was handling all tables and doing an amazing job. There was a large selection of breakfast and lunch items including pancakes, omelettes, skillets, and sandwiches. I ordered a combo with eggs, sausage and a strawberry cheesecake pancake upgrade. My friend had the club sandwich and fries. The food came out quickly and was hot a fresh. Looked up spots for breakfast on yelp, and it brought us to Crackin n Stackin. So glad we made the stop. Food was delicious, exactly what you'd expect in a local favorite. Great flavor, large portion size. If you leave hungry, it isn't their fault. We each had something different. All of it was awesome. This is a cozy location. Staff is friendly. My order of traditional eggs Benedict substitute hash browns plus a side of bacon was delivered in a timely manner and as ordered. Coffee tasted as though it had been on the burner awhile. I was there late though - 12:30pm. It was nice, I was offered a choice of creamers, from half and half to non-dairy. Bacon was perfectly cooked as were the eggs. I order this dish for the sauce and there was plenty of it. Unfortunately, it had a strange chemical flavor. That was disappointing. I found myself pacing my coffee consumption waiting for a refill. When I looked behind me, toward the kitchen, the coffee maker was right there with two partially filled carafes. So, I served myself. We visited for the second time last weekend. We were seated pretty quickly and our server took our drink orders in a timely manner. We ordered our food and they had cups with lids for the kids which is always nice. Our food came out and everything was as ordered. The hash browns are the best I've ever had. Don't change a thing! This place is a good breakfast Cafe...But a great breakfast Cafe should have every dish on the menu to taste great. Chili burger was nasty and they used canned chili. I can make a mediocre chili burger at home. And I get that a chili burger might not be a breakfast dish but if you have it on your menu, you better make it right. Not even fries on the dish but every other burger had fries. I use to like this place alot but they don't care to much on making every dish on the menu an amazing meal. I've never found anything here that I didn't love, but my favorite is The Elvis. If you're getting pancakes off the regular menu, be aware of how huge they are and plan accordingly. OMG so good. I chose this place because I saw that they offered country fried steak which both my boyfriend I love. I also saw that they offered a variety of pancakes and thought the lemon blueberry sounded interesting. So I thought, he could get the country fried steak, while I get a pancake. While the lemon pancake was good, it could have been better. The lemon flavor didn't seem consistent in each bite, as I got more lemon flavor in some bites, rather than all. While I enjoy blueberry flavored foods, I don't tend to actually eat blueberries itself, which this had a lot of. My fault for ordering that, but I just took some off if it was a bit too much for my bite. Overall, it was still good and can't forget that it's quite massive. Glad the waiter told us before we ordered another for a different flavor. Now the reason I loved this place was their country fried steak. I actually debated getting that in addition to my pancake, but since the guy told us it was big, my bf just ordered the country fried steak skillet. Thanks to other Yelpers, we found this gem during a road trip. We stopped at Costco in Medford for gas and looked for a local breakfast place nearby. We had the best breakfast and the friendliest service of any place we've been. I ate every bite of the country fried steak and eggs. So delicious! Hubby had a Denver omelette and was completely satisfied. Servers kept coming by to offer coffee and tea, and they filled my iced tea so I could put it in my thermos for the car.
