From the very beginning, he was patient, knowledgeable, and understanding. He recognized my hesitation about hiring a management company and never made me feel pressured. Instead, he took the time to answer my questions thoroughly and helped me feel comfortable and confident in my decision. Kenya connected me with Dio, who turned out to be an excellent fit for both me and my property. Throughout the leasing process, Dio was incredibly professional, responsive, and knowledgeable. I called and they told me that if I pay off my wife's debt And show receipt that would satisfy requirement. They completely lied. The two collections were paid off in full and we have receipts yet they denied us the rental wasted our time, broke real estate law, and lied. I am drafting a complaint for the border real estate and taking them to small claims for wasting my time and taking my application fee. If you want a bunch of losers that lie and take your money and don't even answer the phone for weeks when you are ready to apply go with these guys. Pathetic business.

Specifically in the last year or two I could never get ahold of Melanie (current property manager), ever. I would call and leave voicemails repeatedly, send multiple emails and finally Tristan would respond and say that Melanie had been on vacation or out of the office. This happened anytime I had an issue or question for them. It took weeks if not months to reach them and then even longer for them to do something about the issue. I had a roof leak and I had to call/leave voicemails and email them repeatedly until they finally answered, all while water was pooling in my ceiling. Also, they never even repaired the water damage inside the unit. I emailed Melanie two months before our lease was up to notify her we would not be renewing it and asking how much the last months rent would be (since it was only half a month). She told me she would get back to me about the amount and I never heard from her again. After multiple emails and calls, Tristan finally responded to me but didn't know what I was referring to. He said he checked with Melanie who was also unaware why I was asking.. This was 15 days before I moved out. I moved out almost a month ago and have still not received my security deposit. I had to call them 6 times over the span of three days and email them once to get an update, they finally responded asking for my forwarding address so they could send me the deposit. This was two weeks ago and I still haven't received it. Tristan is very nice and helpful when you can get ahold of him but I would not recommend renting from this property management company.

Our SFH in the Pierpont area has been in the family since the 60s. It became a rental in 2006 with the long-term plans of coming back. When that time finally came, I walked into what felt like a shock: our home was returned in a state of total disrepair, far beyond what I ever expected after 15+ years of professional management. To make matters worse, I later learned from my parents that the previous tenants had received their full deposit back. Let that sink in: after more than a decade of management, the property was returned dirty, damaged, and badly neglected--yet, according to what I was told, no deposit money was retained to address any of it. For me, that alone is enough to take Paradise Property Management off anyone's list. When I reached out to Stephanie to discuss what I found, the response I got felt defensive, combative, and lacking any acknowledgment of responsibility. There was no constructive conversation, no ownership, and no willingness to resolve anything from my point of view. A deal was struck later to send cleaners in on their dime, but clean doesn't fix a laundry list of items to be repaired. (garbage disposal inop, bathroom vent fan inop, list can go on) I have been rehabilitating this house ever since, and I've waited far too long to write this review. If my experience can save another homeowner from going through the same disappointment, then at least some good can come from it.

Well, I didn't get a raise so that didn't go over well with me. The second and most frustrating event was upon move out, I was told I had to pay to have the valet professionally cleaned or they would deduct $300 from my deposit. The carpet in the unit was long past it's shelf life and it showed. The owner was very cheap and didn't want to have that nor the broken blinds replaced. The carpet was not worth the money I had to pay to have it steam cleaned. The contract used the generic verbiage "surface oil" which basically equates to - if you've ever walked on the carpet. I implore others to search for another management company.
