Rent a car there twice, took 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get the rental. Vehicle was on empty when I got in it. Recently on August 26, 2024, had my car turn in for repair to the Dodge dealership at the location, waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for a rental, finally got a Uber ride home that was there within 4 minutes after request. One of the 1 1/2 hour experience was with a reservation. Keep in mind the wait time I speak of before your seen. You can add another 25 minutes after your name is called. read more

DONT DO IT! Honestly this experience was awful. I read reviews online (all bad not a single good one) and figured it can't be that bad...but IT WAS THAT BAD. I had called earlier in the week to ask about the pick up service. They said to call the day of and they would order a lyft to bring me into the location. I called on the day (the same number I had contacted them with before) and could not get anyone on the line. I CALLED FOR 45 minutes to AN HOUR!!! Absolutely uncalled for. I ended up ordering my own ride there. When I arrived there was a line at the counter which is fine, I know it can get busy. I actually called the number while I was there and there was no phone ringing, it was almost as if they silenced the phone. WOW! Then there was only a minivan available when I requested a midsize. Honestly I did not care what I was getting into at that point I just wanted to get on the road since my schedule had already been pushed back/delayed 1.5 hours. A smaller vehicle came in while I was waiting and eventually was put into that. The amount of time it took to clean the vehicle which added to my wait time was so long. (I know the cars can get cleaned up rather quickly) someone from the office should have gone out and helped clean up the cars to help get people out of the office. And for how long it took, the car was still a bit dirty. I mentioned how I called and called and could not get ahold of anyone, and the employees did not say sorry about that and did not seem shocked at all. The only positive thing I can say is that they did refund me for the lyft ride I ordered to get to the location. Having worked for a Hertz location before and being a Gold member I was appalled. I needed to rent a car due to an accident. I was given a reservation number and called the day before to confirm I could come the next day and pick up a car. When I went in today, I was told there were no cars; that there was a car shortage, and that I could come back tomorrow morning. The guy was nice, and I know it's not his fault, but it's pretty ridiculous to make a reservation and not be guaranteed a car. I've dealt with this location a few times and never again. It's always ridiculously busy and they rarely answer the phone. If you can actually talk to someone, the people that work there are generally nice. The morrow Hertz Rental location is horrible! My credit card was stolen from there and used to rent a car in Oklahoma City Oklahoma! Hertz rental car told me that they could not disclose any information to me even though it was my credit card that was being used! My husband and I just had the worst experience ever! Hertz location in Morrow has an employee who has the worst customer service I have ever experienced with Hertz. Employee Michael is rude, disrespectful and unprofessional! First he asked me if there was going to be any additional drivers. I said Yes my Husband , but you don't need to add him he is a free addition, because of my membership (Gold Member Presidental circle). He tried to tell me it was going to be an additional $94.00. I tried to him, explain to him about the free addition he said maybe that's what they do at other hertz but not here. So i told him maybe get your manager so he can help you. He wasn't there so he called his manager on the phone. He wasn't explaining the situation correctly , so i tried to tell him to tell him its my husband. He looked at me and my husband and raised his voice and said just be quiet, Im explaining it to him he can't hear you. So my husband kindly waited until he got off the phone and said to Micheal don't you ever raise your voice or tell me or my wife to be quiet. That's rude and you don't talk to people that way. Thank god I checked my receipt bc I drove off their lot with the car being a couple miles from EMPTY! I was not even a mile down the road and turned around to head back for this to be corrected. The car was literally on the red mark ON E! Atp now I'm pissed bc I'm running behind and a lot could have been avoided. She handled me and my transaction very poorly and with lack of care & accuracy. I spent a hour and 11 min to get in the vehicle just to turn around and wait another 20 for this to be resolved! Smh again, NOT COOL! But I STILL proceeded out of desperation AND my return time was even wrong so that had to be corrected as well! Nonetheless, I return the car on time (10/12) I thought with no problem until today. I'm in the process of paying bills just to see a hertz charge! I AM FRKN LIVVIIIDDDDD!!!! I call the billing Dept for them to tell me the reason it took so long is bc damages were being assessed and the ticket couldn't be closed out until the process was complete! 3 WEEKS OF INVESTIGATING DAMAGES WHICH WEREN'T EVEN THERE???? The woman at the front desk was looking up our reservation, we let her know it was being paid for under insurance claim. As soon as we said that, her tone changed. They were so busy that we left and went to Fayetteville. If I had not had to use them through my insurance company, I would have gone with another company that is closer and not as busy. Let's talk about how I had a scheduled pickup but was called around 12 pm to be told I would be called around 2:45 pm so they can tell me if they found me a ride. I get no phone call at 3 so I call at 3:15 and I'm told "just call them back and they'll call me a Lyft" . I called and called and called l, SEVEN times and get no answer so I end up Ubering MYSELF to the location. I arrive and there's a super long line and only 2 clerks. There's a supervisor but since I've been standing here I watched her change from barely appropriate work clothes to a moo moo which isn't acceptable for work unless you work from home and I can see through the dress. Meanwhile, she's changed clothes, taken things to and from her car and not once even asked if a customer needed help let alone attempted to help. Great support for your team ma'am. Employees are using profanity in front of guest. And now I've been here 49 minutes, irritated by the customer service and almost sure they won't compensate me for inconvenience of having to find my own ride. read more

My insurance company recommended this location due to and accident. I was told by Hertz to call once I drop my car off at repair shop and someone from Hertz would come by and take me back to the rental office to fill out the paperwork. When I got to the repair shop and called Hertz I called 7 times and no one answered I gave up and called another location which was further out. I had a reservation for 9 AM, and they didn't have any rental cars available until 11 AM. When I finally got the rental car and was on the road traveling to my destination, I realized the alignment on the rental was too unsafe to drive for a road trip. I ended up having to exchange the car at the airport because of course this office didn't have a car for me to exchange. I was told by the manager Jasmine that when I return the rental, she'll make adjustments. I did just that and I was told I couldn't receive any adjustments because I returned my rental to the airport location (which was apart of my rental agreement). I was then told they'd issue me a certificate via mail to use for my next rental. well that was 2 weeks ago and I have yet to receive anything in the mail. I'm completely disappointed with this location. I reserved a car two weeks in advance through Orbitz. When I arrived on the date of my pick up it took 40 minutes to get assisted and get a car. When the associate pulled up to the front with the vehicle he got out and then told me that he needed to get the car cleaned so I waited an additional 10 minutes. Once he returned I had to ask him to do a walk around because all he did was handed me the keys and said you're set. At first he told me that we didn't need to do it because he had already done it but I insisted. There was damage to the side of the car when we did the walk around. We notated it and I signed off on the paperwork. Upon getting into the car my friend and I noticed that it was disgusting. There had been no attempt to detail and clean this car prior to renting it out. I hadn't gotten out of the parking lot before I noticed water in the cupholder and trash still in the car. I immediately turned around and went back into the car rental place. When I walked in I didn't go up to the front because there was a lot of people still trying to receive service but the agent saw me and in front of everyone asked me what was wrong. I advise the car was in a deplorable condition and that I need another car. He told me that the one I had was the only compact car that was available and that he could have it detailed but if I got another car I would have to pay extra. I told him no that was not acceptable and he proceeded to go back-and-forth me in front of other customers. At that point I told him in that case I don't want the car at all and that I wanted my money back. He told me to hand in the keys and that I would see the credit back on my card... I refused until I received paperwork showing the same. I am shocked by the lack of customer service at this location. It's unacceptable to rent out a car in such a horrible condition. This location lost my business and so did this company. I will never be renting from Hertz again. Only reason why I wanted to rent a car was because I didn't want to put miles on my own personal vehicle. This was a complete waste of my time and delayed my trip. Please be aware!! read more

Do not rent from Hertz they never have any cars so after an accident the only car I could rent was a small Toyota Yaris I kept the car for 10 days and then they finally gave me a bigger car after having to talk to a manger at there 1800 number. I only kept that rental for 4 more days and returned it after my car was fixed. They charged me for the bigger car for all 14 days and then refused to return my money and stated that my insurance company would have to call for adjustment. I will never use this company again this was my first and last time and will post to all my travel nurse sites my experience so they all know not to ever use this company. Absolutely TERRIBLE rental experience at this location! Had to make an emergency trip to Michigan. Reserved vehicle from the Hertz website 4 days in advance. On day of rental, only a walk around of the exterior was done. Wife drove car home. Once home, loaded luggage in rear. Noticed the back seat was COVERED in dog hair! Drove to car wash, paid $7 to wash care so I could use the vacuum. Spent 45 minutes vacuuming up all of the dog hair from inside of the vehicle. Noticed the rear seatbelt was busted, not usable. The low tire pressure light was on. Spent $1.50 to inflate tire to proper pressure. Rear view mirror was broken. There was coffee or chocolate stains on the overhead console, dash, windshield and side panel. While we were told the car had been cleaned, that was obviously untrue. Once we cleaned the car, left and called Hertz Customer service. They made a Counter Complaint with the local agency. Hertz said they would connect me with Road Service so that a rep would meet me somewhere on the highway with a better car, to swap. However, I was transferred and after 6 minutes on hold, I had to hang up as I was driving. Once I returned the car to the local agency, I was assured that the manage would be calling me about this rental. NO CALL!! Terrible Customer service, Atrocious rental quality. Will never use this rental agency again. Poor customer service and staff is rude. I had to drop off my car to get body work done across the street. My insurance agency recommended Hertz. Hertz called me that day and asked that I call an hour prior to needing the car so that they could get it ready. I tried calling them for over an hour and no one picked up the phone. I called my insurance agent and they called and were able to conference me in. The lady that I spoke too was flippant. She asked that I call when I was ready to be picked up. The body shop called them and asked that they send someone over to pick me up. They were told that when someone was available they would send them over. I sat there for at least an hour and they were a no show. Mind you, their office is directly across the four-lane street from the body shop. I finally called my insurance agency again and had them cancel with Hertz and book me with Enterprise. Enterprise was there within 5 minutes and I had my rental in 20 minutes. Apparently customer service is not high on their list at Hertz and being polite to their paying customers isn't either.
