Rate: Usually not the cheapest at the airport but by no means is it the most expensive either. You can try to save a few bucks by going with someone like Thrifty or Enterprise but then as the saying goes with you get what you pay for either in terms of car selection/quality/being asked fifty questions as to why you won't accept every add on they ask you about. Car: They initially gave me a Ford Fusion that looked alright but the trunk was very small due to it's odd design and when I got inside it looked like Cookie Monster rented the car before me as there were crumbs all over the front two seats and in the center console. A quick trip back to the counter led to a free upgrade to an almost new 2017 Chevy Impala LTZ which was a really sweet ride in every way. Service: As I mentioned prior, I felt the need to go back to the counter versus sitting in dirt/filth/crumbs and the person I dealt with had no problem giving me keys to whatever as she was mortified about the condition of the first car. It would be nice if they would have someone out in the temporary rental lot to do returns like other companies have but that's not a big deal as the walk to the terminal is very short. Overall it was another good experience with Alamo. They get the fifth star from me simply because over the years they've proven time and time again that at least in this area they have the best mix of service + car selection + price. Even with the small hiccup on the first car I have no problem recommending them to anyone.

    Garbage customer service. Was told someone would be at the desk by customer service around 4 pm…read moreuntil 1 or 2 am, walked up around 1130pm and the lights were off and whomever was supposed to be there had locked up and left. Customer service unable to contact anyone local, so no help was coming. Was told to return tomorrow for car. Was just left stranded at the airport by this company. I hope the clown who left before the shift ended losses the job.

The car itself was great, and I can't say enough good things about Enterprise. I'm hoping not to visit this exact scenario again any time soon, but if I am in need of a rental car in the future, Enterprise will be my go-to. Their location was very busy when I picked up the car and dropped it off, but both times there were a lot of staff available and I didn't wait long without someone checking on me, making sure I was being taken care of. Alejandro in particular was a great help. He and Enterprise worked directly with my insurance company and the process was extremely easy. He gave me the details on the car, my responsibilities, extended coverage and gas options, everything you'd need to know, but still got me out of there and on my way pretty quickly. And I had the same easy experience when I returned the Kia two weeks later. I don't hesitate to recommend this Enterprise location, if you need a rental car. Also, Alejandro advised that they sell cars too, something I was previously unaware of. So, something to keep in mind. Thank you, Enterprise!

    Hello! I recently…read morehad an accident with my 2012 Toyota Sienna minivan, which my car insurance company covered, and the repairs were done at Gerber Collision in Fogelsville PA.. When I contacted Gerber to schedule my appointment, I told them that I would need a rental car for two, and probably 3 days. Gerber does not have rentals or loaner cars, but I was told that Enterprise Car Rental on Hamilton Boulevard in Allentown was the service they used, and that I could schedule to have a rental vehicle dropped off as early as 8am when Gerber opened, and that 'drop off' of the rental would be as easy to schedule.. Please note- My car insurance does NOT cover rental reimbursement, so when I contacted Enterprise, I did tell the rep on the phone that.. I would be paying 'full price', 'out of pocket' - no discount like State Farm gets when they arrange the rental.. And I was ready to book the rental, with credit card in hand.. While I was 'on hold' with Enterprise, about 20 minutes, I listened to many of the 'ads' that stated 'Enterprise knows that life never stops moving, and we are there to help you keep moving' and so on.. But here is where it gets sad - ** When I finally got through to an agent, I was told the following - ** No discount on the rental, even though I was paying in full because State Farm did not 'initiate' the 'courtesy call'.. ** No drop off of the rental at Gerber Collision at 8am on Monday.. The soonest I could get the rental on Monday was 930AM, an hour and a half AFTER my minivan was scheduled to be dropped off and taken in for service.. The distance between Gerber and Enterprise is several miles, so I think is a very fair question to ask - As a car rental company, with a customer paying full price per day, why should that customer have to walk several miles from the collision repair garage to the rental car establishment? ** The 'drop off' instructions were just as sad - Instead of picking up the rental car 2 or 3 days later at Gerber collision, I would be required to return the rental car to the Enterprise location on Hamilton Boulevard in Allentown.. ** Also, the P/U times and drop off times - since I work nights and sleep during the day - would end up me having to rent a car for 4 days - Sun-Mon-Tues-Wed.. The mid size sedans offered were about 75+, and with other fees, it came out to almost $400 for the rental car.. And I would have to find my own way to pick up the car at Hamilton Blvd.. after 930am (when I am usually sleeping) and have to return the rental to Hamilton Blvd. by the time Enterprise closed or be charged for an additional day... Honestly, I found this entire situation to be ridiculous.. Renting a car should be easy and convenient. And I am sure it is at the local airport! LOL.. But I tried to give Enterprise my business - from the recommendation I got from Gerber Collision in Fogelsville PA.. And I found Enterprise to be neither convenient or easy.. At the end of the day, I did NOT book a car rental from Enterprise.. My family and I just got by with one vehicle for 4 days even though we all work different schedules.. And I ended up saving almost $400, even though I was willing to spend it for the sake of convenience... Folks, I am absolutely NOT the kind of person who complains to McDonalds because 'their coffee is too hot'... In fact, I LOVE posting 5 star reviews wherever I can to show appreciation for the excellent service that so many folks deliver in their daily lives.. But I was really thrown off by my contacts with Enterprise.. I'm not telling Enterprise how to run their business.. But I gotta tell you - Telling a guy who wants to rent a car for 3 or 4 days - who is paying full price - that I also have to walk a few miles to get my rental? When insurance claimants can have the car delivered to them? And then dropped off at convenience? Even though Enterprise is giving a discount for insurance claims over a 'nobody' who is paying full price??? Folks, sorry to say - I feel that is a really bad business model Enterprise has got going there.. One would think that they - since their business is renting vehicles - would want to service any possible customer in any way to make the sale.. Imagine ordering a Whopper at Burger King and being told that 'If you want that on a bun, you gotta stop on the way home to pick up hamburger buns'... I got through my minivan's repairs this week.My family got by on one car.. And I am sorry to have not given Enterprise my business. But fact is - I'm not paying a car rental company almost $400 and then having to call an Uber to go pick up the rental car! LOL.. Final note - Please do not blame anyone at the Hamilton Boulevard location of Enterprise.. Every person I spoke with was polite and professional!! But they had no way to work around the questions I had about the times and the booking.. But it seems to me that Enterprise - as a company - does not give a crap about folks who work 'off shifts'.. ONE STAR!

    This employee here seems detached and treated me coldly. Like I am a bother instead of a respected…read moreclient. I called in and reserved a car and the guy noted I have rented here twice before with no problems.
