    If I could give a 0 I would. Please be aware that this hertz represents having bad customer service with one of the highest positions there at this branch. I was disrespected by the Manager just because I was trying to established a understanding on my reservation price the difference between my email and the branch price. In the mist of that his employee was riding around in the rental I was going to drop off while my contract is still open, but that is professional? Is it professional for staff to lie to you about policies when they really just want to keep the car for their personal use? This location is a joke Listed below is my

    Hertz rental agreement

    I rented a car from Hertz for a week. My pick up and drop off location was Logan airport in Boston MA. 2 days before my scheduled rental return I had emergency gall bladder surgery. I was discharged from the hospital one day before the scheduled return with instructions not to drive a car for 3-4 days. I called Hertz and explained my emergency and requested a drop off in Manchester NH ( 20 minute drive) rather than Logan airport ( 90 minute drive). I spoke with customer service and a supervisor named Eric. I explained that I have been a loyal Hertz Gold customer for over 25 years. Both employees told me that I could change drop off locations if I agreed to pay and additional $1,071. The additional fee represented a 252% premium added to my $447 original rental agreement

    Low tire pressure, gas halfway (had to go back inside and argue with them to change my rental agreement because they had it full)

    Worst experience I've ever encountered getting a car. Employees didn't want to help me and shrugged me off. They gave me a car that smelled horrible and wasn't cleaned. They tagged my rental agreement as full gas when it wasn't even halfway, and when I asked them to change it they got annoyed. The car they gave me had low tire pressure & they said they couldn't do anything about it but to go to the mechanic on the other side. The car they gave me had a faulty truck and wouldn't automatically close, when I told them about to is they said "sorry only key we have" The employees wouldn't even look at me, instead just hung out on their phone. Worst hertz location

    I had to vacuum my rental after picking it up it was so dirty. that rental agreement you see was in the vehicle already. it's not mine.

Tyrone, the manager, said the car had dog hairs in it, he was allergic, and the car needed to be sent out for detailing -- and they need to charge a $450 cleaning fee. He kept emphasizing that he had allergies. Total gaslighting. To be clear, Avis terms and conditions do not say that you have to clean your car before returning it. They simply state that renters will be charged a "reasonable fee" for "excessive stains, trash, dirt, soilage, odors, or pet hair." By no means, was my car returned with "excessive" anything. This was a scammy, fraudulent charge, and it was only by accident I found out the same day, and was able to rush back and take photos and videos of the car interior. After I complained, Tyrone gave me a "courtesy call" later that day to say he would reduce the cleaning fee to $150. What a joke. It took me three days to get Avis to reverse the charges. I had to call their customer service numerous times and go back and forth on emails. Avis makes it very difficult to reverse the charges. You have to be very persistent. If you have a video, they only accept files less than 10MB. This was known Avis/Budget scam. I thought I got a good deal on Hotwire. Next time I will pay more and go to National at the airport. Avoid Avis -- and this particularly this location -- like the plague. If you do rent from them, take photos and document everything, so you don't get screwed by Tyrone and his "allergies."

The first car they gave me, the transmission shift knob came OFF while I was driving! Luckily I didnt get into an accident and was only a few blocks away, so I was able to drive back to exchange for another car. The SECOND car they gave me looked fine, until I was on the road and needed to use the car horn, that's when I realized that the horn in this car didnt work! Unfortunately, at this time, I was already far out of town on business and was not able to return the car. Therefore, I ended up stuck driving a car with no horn for 2 days. I went back for another exchange after I got back in town, the third vehicle had the service light on, the staff told me that the car just had service and it was just a computer issue. This problem didnt seem too serious after what I went through with the other two vehicles, so I just took it. With everything said, the service and staff here seems friendly enough. They just need to freakin upgrade their cars.
