I'm writing this review specifically to praise them for a miracle job that they did for me last week. I had backed up into a freshly painted white wall wearing my favorite navy shell jacket. I immediately tried hand cleaning and scrubbing feverishly and then machine washing it twice but the paint residue was still clearly visible. I texted Stephanie the same day asking if she could pick it up ASAP to avoid it setting in more. Sue sent a special pickup the next day. And I prayed. I am thrilled to share that I've gotten my jacket back and there is not even a hint of paint stain left. It's 100% gone! I was told to pick it up at a certain time, but due to some sort of miscommunication, by the time I arrived the store had already closed early because of the holiday. Since Thanksgiving was the very next day, I figured I was out of luck and started mentally preparing to find a different dress to wear. I called the store anyway and somehow managed to get in touch with the owner. He explained that they had closed early because of Thanksgiving, which I completely understood. But when I told him my situation, he did something I absolutely did not expect. He said he was about 40 minutes away, but insisted on turning around and coming back to the store just so I could get my dress. He drove all the way back, opened the shop for me, and then had to drive another 40 minutes again afterward. I honestly couldn't believe it. That level of customer service is incredibly rare these days. He went so far out of his way to help me, especially right before a major holiday. Truly 10/10 service. I noticed that the store hours on weekdays starts at 7:30 AM, which is amazing since the last dry cleaners that I was using didn't open till 10 AM which was inconvenient now and that's why I was looking for someplace new. When I walked in, I was greeted by nice man by the name of John. He was so friendly and nice, and then I told him that it was my first time visiting the store, but he treated me like I was a long time customer which was really nice. I also like the fact that when I walked in, smelled clean, and it looked clean inside. So, I dropped off my clothes formed John that I was in no rush and he let me know that they will be ready next week. I do like the fact that the store offers nontoxic dry cleaning. This is a future that I missed when I was going to my old dry cleaners in Walnut Creek and then moved to a different dry cleaners in Danville, which I was trying different places until I found the B-line cleaners . I was quoted around $170 for dry cleaning which i thought was reasonable; I didnt know what to expect as it was my first time getting something dry cleaned and altered. I also wanted to give it a shot since the seamstress was highly recommended. To put a long story short I was put in a small cold corner of the back room with a curtain and small 4ft mirror... the woman "helping" me was busy with all the customers walking in while I was waiting for her to help me zip my dress and begin pinning it. She was the only staff attending guests. Each a time person walked in, she would leave to attend guests 5-10 minutes ata time and after the third time, i decided to leave. Ill give her credit for trying but it was way too busy and unprofessional. Dry cleaning experience might be better than actual alterations here.
