Their prices are very high, and they upcharge designer items simply because they are designer items - which they claim is necessary because of the "special care" required. They charged me $47.50 to dry clean a Versace silk sweater but the label simply said "dry clean only." No special methods, no extravagant fabric, no special trim. 2. They have ruined several pieces: two wool sweaters were shrunk beyond wear, and they recently managed to unstitch the crew neckline of a cotton sweater, which I can no longer wear. 3. I gave them a wool zip-front sweater with leather zipper tabs and when I went to pick it up, both leather tabs were missing. It took one month for them to replace the tabs and get it back to me. 4. Their cleaning is hit or miss. I have sent back simple cotton tops with simple stains that they marked unable to clean and - miraculously! - they were able to get the stain out the second time. 5. Their pricing is hit or miss. When I questioned a price, they would double check and suddenly realize they overcharged me. This happened at least 5 times. I sent an email explaining why they lost my business a few weeks ago and did not get a response. They clearly don't care about their customers or their business. I gave them one star because they do offer a member discount.

I'm writing this review specifically to praise them for a miracle job that they did for me last week. I had backed up into a freshly painted white wall wearing my favorite navy shell jacket. I immediately tried hand cleaning and scrubbing feverishly and then machine washing it twice but the paint residue was still clearly visible. I texted Stephanie the same day asking if she could pick it up ASAP to avoid it setting in more. Sue sent a special pickup the next day. And I prayed. I am thrilled to share that I've gotten my jacket back and there is not even a hint of paint stain left. It's 100% gone! I was told to pick it up at a certain time, but due to some sort of miscommunication, by the time I arrived the store had already closed early because of the holiday. Since Thanksgiving was the very next day, I figured I was out of luck and started mentally preparing to find a different dress to wear. I called the store anyway and somehow managed to get in touch with the owner. He explained that they had closed early because of Thanksgiving, which I completely understood. But when I told him my situation, he did something I absolutely did not expect. He said he was about 40 minutes away, but insisted on turning around and coming back to the store just so I could get my dress. He drove all the way back, opened the shop for me, and then had to drive another 40 minutes again afterward. I honestly couldn't believe it. That level of customer service is incredibly rare these days. He went so far out of his way to help me, especially right before a major holiday. Truly 10/10 service. I'm so grateful and will absolutely continue coming here. Highly recommend!

To put a long story short I was put in a small cold corner of the back room with a curtain and small 4ft mirror... the woman "helping" me was busy with all the customers walking in while I was waiting for her to help me zip my dress and begin pinning it. She was the only staff attending guests. Each a time person walked in, she would leave to attend guests 5-10 minutes ata time and after the third time, i decided to leave. Ill give her credit for trying but it was way too busy and unprofessional. Dry cleaning experience might be better than actual alterations here.
