Lot's of physical therapy from TENS and Heat to a traction table and use of massage pad and a micro adjuster gun. He loosened up my lower back then using traction, he was able to adjust my lumbar region providing instant relief to the pressure that was causing the pain. He also did traction on my neck and using the traction device was able to adjust my neck. It's been a couple of days and I'm feeling much better. I loved the different therapeutic methods to deal with my acute pain. Definitely will come back if I tweak the back again.

I was hesitant about seeing a chiropractor because of the pain I was in, and I mentioned that to Dr. Michael and he urged me that the sooner I saw someone the better and he reassured me it wouldn't hurt. He says he treats people in crutches or wheelchairs after accidents and again reassured me I would be fine. I drove myself to see him and I'm so glad I did. Turns out he's a sports chiropractor and he happens to be the team doctor for the L.A. Derby Dolls (the professional girls roller derby team). Immediately after examining me as I stood up, he pointed out that my "SI" was misaligned and that he could fix me. I was a bit alarmed that he could tell my back was off kilter just by looking at me stand up, but then he went on to explain to me and show me on his wall charts where my pain was stemming from and why. After 20 minutes of "stimming" with the tens machine, he proceeded to adjust me and indicate all the pained areas I had were because of my severe misalignment and lots of tightness in my back and shoulders. I could not believe that what he did was not painful at all because even the slightest move at home just an hour earlier was so painful. I don't want to write negative review for Joint Chiropractor, but I think I should warn others…read more I usually had great experience at the Joint near my area at West Covina, so I thought why not get one adjustment done before the end of the month, so I stopped by this location after a spa. The front desk girl was friendly and helped squeeze me in for the last mn before they close on Wednesday. To my shocking surprise, Dr Roger didn't ask me where I wasn't feel well or even asked how I was doing. He went straight to check my main spine, which seemed good, he didn't event adjust it but told me to roll to the side for lower back adjustments. Then adjusted my necks, which left me shocking traumatized. My neck wasn't relaxed yet and he already cracked me, both side. I was in such much pain that I couldn't move when he's done. He told me that we're done, and I said just a moment while closing my eyes and holding me neck in pain. He didn't ask to make sure if I was ok, he just left into his room. I was so surprised, but I tried to get up and leave. Someone on Yelp said this location isn't owned by the same owner fell West Covina one, maybe that's why my Dr at West Covina left me better impression. I'd never come back to this location again. I hope other patients would take initiation to speak up and protect your body.
