I have been working out at HEW on and off since 2011. I started in Gardens and worked out there consistently until about 2014, when I stopped altogether due to an inexplicable illness that kept me down for a couple months. After a while I wanted back in, but wasn't motivated or committed enough to return. I then be-bopped around town for a year or so to other CF boxes seeing what they were about, but I didn't get the same vibe as I did from the HEW family. In 2017 I moved to Jupiter and decided to check out HEW Jupiter. It was all that I remembered HEW to be... great WODS, attentive coaching, with the right amount of push and strong community (of which I was not yet really a part). But I still couldn't get myself back to the level of commitment I once knew, and it was not for lack of trying by the coaches... I'd get texts and phone calls when I would go MIA for too long, but I had other priorities that I used as excuses to avoid the 'Hard' part of the change I so desperately needed. Fast forward to December, 2018 and I've once again returned from a lengthy absence, and I'm getting it done (slowly with lots of modifications, lol). The coaches welcomed me back with open arms and have been as supportive as ever; I've become a '7 a.m'er' and I've successfully completed a HEW Fit 4 week exercise and better eating challenge that found me with new friends (misery loves company, lol), 8lbs lighter and feeling a whole lot better about myself and the prospects of my health and fitness journey. The Jupiter HEW team is second to none!! Whether you are new to working out, or a hard core "HEWman", the Jupiter trainers have the patience and knowledge to support you and your goals. Their daily classes are always different and push you to personally challenge yourself. They have a great line of HEW apparel, as well as, all of the accessories needed for your workouts. The first time I went to HEW, I was humoring a friend. I thought it looked fun but truly believed it would be too much for me. That was almost 6 years ago and I can't believe how far I've come. I have had a lifetime of restrictions due to a congenital heart condition, and two car accidents left me with back problems. The coaches are amazing, so supportive and encouraging. They are great about helping me work around my limitations, a list which has gotten considerably shorter as I've gotten stronger. If you want it badly enough, they will help you make it happen. I love HEW Jupiter! The HEW staff is amazing! As they have re-opened post quarantine, I am so impressed by the precautions they have taken. The facility is very clean and sanitary! I feel comfortable working out with others inside the gym because the system is so well executed. The gym floor is divided into stations and people work out about six feet apart. Disinfectant is provided for all to use before and after the WOD. The workouts are tough but the coaches help you modify if you need to and you do everything in your space! It's great! As a 48 year old man who was always into fitness, I realized a few months ago that I had let myself go for the past few years. I got into HEW Fitness at the urging of my friend and haven't looked back. It is an excellent functional fitness type of workout that hones your overall wellbeing from your physical needs to your mental needs. The coaches are amazing and the workouts are challenging. I have been at HEW for 1.5 years and I hope to continue for another 10! My schedule is all over the place but with 10 classes a day I go at least 4-5 days a week. One hour classes means I'm in and out. The workouts are new everyday, never gets boring. The coaches are great, make you feel like part of a family.
