The teachers are great! They make all feel welcome and at the same time push me to be a better practitioner as well as a better human being in general. I was certified as a RYT200 here and loved every second of teacher training. We became family or what we like to call it "our tribe". We grew very close and couldn't help but to shed some tears on our graduation date, but we all knew that was not goodbye. We all continue to come to classes despite being teachers ourselves now. That's because what we get at Om is more than a good workout. My guru Lou literally radiates peace and harmony and you won't be able to help constantly laughing and smiling being around her or any of the other teachers. I tried Om Yoga using a Groupon because the studio was convenient to home and work. I honestly didn't think I would take to this studio and its instructors so quickly! What a gem this studio is. All of the teachers are kind and gracious. I have truly learned to enjoy my practice here. The classes that fit into my work schedule are usually with Leah. She is such a joy and sweetheart! She begins each class with a meditation on some simple life lesson she learned or experienced; and it's anything that any of us might experience or relate to. By the grace of God, I found OM. Lou has the biggest heart and you feel it in her classes. I especially love the chakra healing class on Sundays at 11:00am--very healing. I've had the pleasure of meeting all of the instructors at OM, and they too, are outstanding people who provide an extremely beneficial class(es). I also had the utmost pleasure of attending the YTT 200hr. here, and I recommend this to everyone. New location in Northwood area. Very close to the relish burger place and that's very nice. The parking is of course tricky in this area because all that I can find seems to be street parking. At least for the street parking there are no meters. That would not earn my business down here in this area if I had to pay for parking on the street. It's not that established of an area yet. The yoga seems to be your typical yoga in a building. I really think it might kick off to a positive establishment in time. read more

I was very happy to find myself in Marie's challenging, yet relaxing afternoon yoga class. It was very beneficial that this location provides mats and blocks for students that need them, as it was a last minute decision for me to attend. Marie has a wonderful way of adjusting to the capabilities of the students, while individually pushing each student to their maximum potential. The location is beautiful and local for me. I love this yoga studio!! I am usually only able to go at night so it's nice that they offer classes at a variety of different times. So far my two favorite classes are the Wednesday 6-15pm and the Tuesday 8pm. All the instructors I've dealt with have been nice and helpful during class. They also offer regular deals. Lourdes is very welcoming and makes you feel right at home. As a beginner in yoga I was intimidated my first time around but she helped me along and pushed me to hold stretches for much longer than I am used to.
