The shop is very cute and inviting. The employees are nice. It's unique how they got the place outside to sit and enjoy the weather, food and drinks. The neighborhood of the shop is not quite crowded, kinda in the middle of nowhere. The design is cute but the drinks are quite bland. The tapioca in my drink was kinda hard, chewy but inside is tough. The egg yogurt and aloe Vera toppings are good though. I don't know about other drinks but the green milk and black tea are kinda bland to me. I would come again once in a while, maybe not as often. Great family atmosphere! I'm so excited to have finally found a boba tea place that offers a kids menu! My 5 yr old loves milk tea with jelly, and I usually end up having to order him an adult size. The cafe was well staffed, and we received our order quickly. There is a nice park area adjacent to the parking lot, so we were able to enjoy our drinks while maintaining social distancing. Hey Bear Cafe is our new go-to spot for boba tea! read more

Update: Everyone that works here is very nice and it's so cute I just had to try it again. It is still a hit and miss with the Thai Milk Tea depending on who makes it I guess. But sometimes it is pretty good. I also tried the Black Milk Tea and it was very good. And the tapioca is always spot on! read more

I love it here!! So glad they build something like this. I loved bubble tea when I would visit Asian countries and I am so happy they now have brought this to Knoxville. this place is okay if you've never had boba before. the boba was too chewy, the fruit teas are too sweet, and the thai tea was too watery. but, ladies were nice on the inside and the food truck park behind was pretty cool if you were hungry. read more

Such a great friendly atmosphere, serves authentic bubble tea! I would be more inclined to stay longer if it wasnt so hot inside ( I think the air conditioner was broken), also we waited in line for an hour to get out drinks. Would be good if they implemented a way to have the guests order while in line using an iPad, or hand out menus while the line is long educating the customers on what bubble tea is since that part takes time while at the register. Otherwise, it's good. Hopefully they work out those kinks soon. Will go back in a few months and adjust my review if anything changes. read more

Really cute place to hang out. I had a brown sugar something bubble tea with tea and milk.. it was really not my favorite. Not very sweet and VERY expensive for not a lot of product. I'd like to go try some other flavors but don't recommend the brown sugar tea unless maybe you got the option with no tea, just milk. It was also pretty noisy and crowded in there. Wow, this place is so amazing I don't know where to start. There is a good variety of drink choices and you can customize your own drink. They even serve coffee and beer here! The outdoor area is perfect. It has a decent playground for kids while the adults can enjoy food from a food truck. The whole place is very clean and inviting. My friend and I were asked to leave the outdoor area because she brought outside food. I had purchased food but she brought her own because the food truck didn't not have vegan options. We explained the only reason she did not purchase the food was because the food truck did not have vegan options. The employee still asked us to leave. I offered to purchase at least $20 worth of stuff from their store just so we could finish our meal and the employee still made us leave because their policy is no outside food. I have been coming to the trucks and cafe about once a week for awhile. If this is the way they treat paying customers, I'll not be back. read more

If you love MILK TEA this is the place. I have been here several times and I keep coming back because they perfectly execute the taste every single time. However, given that this is a "BOBA" place, their bobas isn't the best as it's always over cooked and mushy in texture. Every time I come back, I have a tiny hope it will get better but no.... The boba itself is disappointing but the drink makes up for it. I do hope they try do something about the boba situation. Overall, I do recommend this place if you love milk teas! There are other jellies to explore besides boba, so maybe try that or ask to sample their boba before putting it in your drink to make sure you'll like it! read more

Bubble tea was good staff was friendly inside and we love the food truck park. We got something from both trucks there that day and everything was very tasty. "The Mac Truck" had fresh seafood that was well seasoned and not overly breaded like many places. I was disappointed that they were out of street corn but pleasantly surprised by the cucumber salad. "Goodwin's South of the Bridge" was the choice my children made. I tried a bite of the Philly my older son got and it was very tasty my younger son ate all of his food before I could try it Only a mild inconvenience but the food truck are not allowed to sell drinks to promote people coming inside to get their drinks. read more

When we saw Hey Bear was opening, let's just say there was some excitement and eager anticipation. Hey Bear is absolutely the best boba in Knoxville. The teas are good quality and flavors. The boba was a little inconsistent. It was either just right or slightly too hard for my preferred tase. However, being that it was the second day from their hard open, I believe the boba will be mastered over time.
