Ordered the classic Black Milk Tea with boba ($5.15 medium size + $.75 boba), less sugar, less ice…read more Tea was good, maybe overloaded w/ boba, the boba had a good chew. They serve desserts and snacks too. I love that West Knoxville has a great boba tea option - and love even more that the patrons were almost all non-Asian. Makes me proud of my old hometown, lol. Good crowd!

Meh. Short story: so so customer service, large menu, both…read moreof my drinks tasted like sugar. This shop has all the window dressing of a good boba spot, but did not deliver for the two drinks I tried. Firstly, look up the menu ahead of time. There are a lot of choices. Some, not usual for most boba places. (Oreo, as a topping option for all drinks) Knew I wanted a Thai tea. Asked the counter person to recommend some other popular drinks. Should have specified something different from the milk based Thai tea. Oreo shake was the one suggestion. My interaction wasn't the best. Counter person looked slightly upset I asked for recommendations, even after hearing it was my first time there. Went with a honey dew option. My Thai tea had almost no flavor. At least not the flavor I was looking for. It was creamy and sweet. My Honeydew smoothie/slushy. Creamy and sweet. Boba was fresh. Didn't finish either. There were a lot of food options. Didn't try, but they looked good. Atmosphere is a little loud, would make it hard to catch up with a friend.

What a great recommendation!!! first off I have spent quite…read morea while looking for fresh spring rolls... and then I was told Sticky Rice Café has them! They do and they are delicious... served with peanuts sauce, of course From the moment we walked in the energy, vibe and passion was apparent!! Our server was Tre... He asked us if we had eaten there before which we told him we had not so he took the time and explained the menu the food and also his favorite pics. He explained grandma's sauces and gave us a great education on the type of food that we would be ordering! After the spring rolls, my husband ordered the dinner portion of grilled pork chops. BIINGMOO and I ordered PAD KEE MAO.... This is wide noodles in an amazing sauce and you have your choice of beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, or tofu to be added. I chose beef......Tre brought three little dishes to sample three at grandma's sauces which all had amazing flavors with a little bit of heat... our meals were brought to us and of course we tasted each other's meals and we're amazed at the freshness, flavor and the size. Oh my goodness this is a place that if you enjoy fresh food with an Asian twist, you need to try it. Grandma sauces can be purchased as they are bottled for sale as well. Service was wonderful to go food going out the door was nonstop. And we were lucky enough to sit at the far back of the restaurant next to the kitchen, so we got to watch all of the different platings coming out.... And we just need to start at the top of the menu and work our way down because everything looks wonderful. Happy people, happy servers, great vibe. There is a bar off to the side, which basically was full the entire time we were there. Really a very nice experience five stars and two thumbs up!!!!

Still great consistent service and tasty food. Truly an asset to Knoxville dining. We visited again…read moretoday and we have zero complaints. Since moving into the bigger location it's easier to be seated quickly. The dining room is welcoming, open and super clean. Everyone on staff is eager to help even if they are not your specific waitress. **Tip take home a jar of your favorite sauce. They sell them!

Ming was a great server and brought everything we needed. She answered all our questions and was…read moresuper helpful. The food was amazing, everything was super fresh. I got the dumplings and the spring rolls to start and they were delicious. I got the Yamato 'burger' also and it was good too. It was a little sweet and reminded me a bit of salty cha su in a pita. - Just know it's not an American burger before you order it. Ming explained this to me before so I was prepared. :) My friend got the ramen bowl with spicy miso and ribeye and said it was amazing with the perfect amount of spice. Another friend got the Crab poke bowl, she said it was good with different textures. Everything we ate was good! The atmosphere was relaxing (we were seated in the corner booth).

Yamato is fine, just fine. Prices are really good but the food is just basic. It's like this place…read moreis trying to cater to a western pallet, which is truly unfortunate. This is no where near an authentic ramen, the poke is alright - not great but fine. The restaurant is clean, and service is prompt and nice. It's never very busy when we come in, usually during a late lunch. You make your selection on a piece of paper, selecting what you want with a provided pen. The ramen broth is fine - not bad but not good, there is no depth to it. They load the Tonkotsu with bok choy, onion, and corn. The Chashu is browned nicely, and the egg yolk is soft - but that's the best thing in the meal... the bok choy never ends, they put a lot in. When you're in the area and want a cheap Japanese/Hawaiian (Poke) inspired food, or some bubble tea stop in for a lunch. If you're looking for authenticity, maybe move on.
