Quality: 2 Atmosphere and service: 2 Stylist: Hector Asked for long layers with curtain bangs and walked out with dramatic short layers which do not work with my partial balayage, as the top layer is now lighter than the rest of my hair. I was also left with one side of my bangs about an inch longer than the other. Got stood up after showing up for my appointment and should have taken that as my queue to find someone else. I understand that third-party scheduling systems don't always work well, but they shouldn't be used if they're not being checked regularly. The salon told me to keep waiting, with no luck after an hour. When I came in for the reschedule, the first thing my stylist did was try to detangle my waist-length hair with a fine-tooth comb from root to end. Should have taken that as the next red flag to get out. The rest of the appointment was spent listening to him complain about other clients and watching bits of hair fall into my lap that were far longer than expected. I've been here twice since it's so close to my apartment. I like that it's not crazy busy but still has a flow of regular customers coming and going. Ambiance: The space is minimal, cute, and clean. It has a relaxing atmosphere and it's quiet for the most part. Service: Henry did my nails one of the times and he is very friendly. The other ladies are also nice. Nails: Both times I went I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The first time was a bright blue color. I got a lot of compliments and loved the color. It was different for me and was so fun! The nails lasted 3+ weeks. The only downside was that they had cut my cuticles too closely on my big toe and it became red and irritated after. The second time was a bright orange color for the summer. One of my fingernails chipped less than a week after they were done. I went in and Henry fixed it with no extra cost. Super nice of him! He said if any of my nails chip again I can come in and they'll fix it for free. It did chip again in the same place, but since it was my 'in between' color (in between two events) I just left it. I don't love this salon but it's conveniently close to my place and the staff is super nice so I'll probably be coming back! read more

If you dont count the dirty fish task tucked away on the counter -1 took one hour to do a basic men's haircut. It really only takes 20 max. -1 not the haircut i exactly wanted and it got worse as she kept cutting . Like the more she cut, it was like she was trying to fix the problem. And at the end she asked "do you even like it?" Also whats funny is she doesnt know how to blend hair. -1 now all of that could have forgiven. And i could have had a bigger scale on Yelp, i would have given them -5. Again, the price was $25 + 15% off. Gave her a 40 (didnt tell her to keep any of the change because i would have tipped her) And she gives me 9 dollars back. Do the math there people. Overcharged me for a BAD haircut. read more
