A refreshing spot for unique yogurt-based drinks with plenty of fruity options. Drink (4/5) The yogurt drinks are creamy, tangy, and not overly sweet -- the fruit flavors like mango, strawberry, and peach really stand out, and portions are generous compared to other yogurt chains. Value (4/5) Prices are a bit higher than a standard bubble tea, but you get a thick, filling drink with real fruit chunks and yogurt that feels worth it for the quality.

I tried this location for the first time after a dinner, and the Mango Yogurt with less sugar was perfect. It was slightly icy, creamy, and tart. There was just something about the mango that was so perfectly complimentary to the yogurt. I went back the day after and tried the Banana Yogurt with much less sugar. It wasn't as icy this time. Banana is naturally sweet, so I'm glad I decided on requesting less sugar. I drank all the banana in the beginning and it was harder to mix in, so my drink at the end was just yogurt (which I'm not that mad about). I wish there was a no sugar option, but I guess that's what makes the yogurt so addictive.

We have a favorite yogurt place in the NoVA area, but we had heard about Hey Yogurt being a strong competitor - The menu offers fruit-flavored, matcha-flavored, and grain-flavored yogurt beverages. We ordered: +the Green Grape - loved the chunks of the sweet green grape; the yogurt was smooth and refreshing +and, the Strawberry & Mango -the strawberries were okay, but the mangoes were very fresh and were the highlight; the drink was blended well There are kiosks for ordering, and there's very limited seating inside, possibly about 4 people. The space is extremely cute, bright, and clean - loved their logo and the decor! Staff were super friendly! +Green Grape yogurt +fresh mangoes +friendly service! +order via the kiosk

One of the great things about New York are the many different variations of foods there are to try. Whether it be the cronut, ramen burger, etc. However, with that comes experimentation for the sake of being different. I went to Hey Yogurt to try their crofle, a hybrid of a waffle and croissant. I got the green tea match crofle. It was okay, not spectacular. It was definitely more about satisfying curiosity about it. I was also not a big fan of the kiosk they use for orders. It felt unnecessary when I could have just interacted with the cashier and gotten my order processed in the same amount of time. The space itself was fairly tiny and more a to go place. But they do have cakes and other items on the menu that I would be curious to come back and try.

I absolutely recommend this place!! It's a twist from boba tea but a healthier version from it. Hey Yogurt is a cute small spot serving yogurt smoothie with fresh fruits. You have the option to choose the flavor which all look incredibly delicious as well as choosing how sweet you want your drink. This is always a plus! The one I tried was Mango Dragon fruit and it was great! You have options from peach, banana, lychee to matcha and Oreo flavors. They also sell 3 type of desserts-double fromage cheesecake, croffles, and Boston pie. I did get to try the croffle and my favorite were the original and chocolate flavor . I tried the matcha and although I love matcha, it wasn't a favorite. The service was great, very friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely come back to try more.

I was in need of a chocolate fix. We saw Hey Yogurt and made the stop. Great nice staff helped us with our chocolate yogurt. The frogurt was thick, rich and creamy. Extremely tasty. We loved it! Forget trying to park around here. Take public transportation if possible.

Ugh absolutely delicious; so fresh, yummy, creamy, and refreshing!! You order at the kiosk and they will make your drink fairly fast. Very limited seating so it's more of a grab and go!

I love Hey Yogurt so much. It's been my go to for post meal desserts every time I'm around one. The fact that these are approximately 300 ish calories make it such a better alternative than traditional boba which is upwards of 600 calories. The lychee yogurt is my favorite. Light, refreshing, and probiotic, this will be my go to for a long time to come.

I feel a little healthier with this beverage as it's yogurt and fresh fruit lol but it is so delicious & not too sweet, so far my favorites are mango & passion fruit It is a bit pricey but feel it's nice to treat your self once in a while!

Wow I love Hey Yogurt ever since I got introduced to this drink! It's healthy, refreshing, tasty, and has so many fruit/flavor options to try a variety! We got the lychee and strawberry banana yogurt. The consistency of the yogurt was smooth and sweet (not too sweet) with a tiny tart taste that goes perfect for the sweet, real fruit option you choose! My favorite was the strawberry banana yogurt. The strawberry pieces were sweet and mixed well with the yogurt that had blended in banana that was such a flavor explosion! It was like a strawberry banana smoothie but creamier and BETTER because of the yogurt consistency and taste. The lychee was also very good where the yogurt was straight yogurt but tasted so refreshing and delicious! I would choose Hey Yogurt over boba if they had more near me!

I first learned about hey yogurt at a location in NJ so was pleasantly surprised and pleased when I found out that one was open in New York. This is such a refreshing beverage for a hot day. The yogurt was like slushie with fruit mixed in. Texture was extremely drinkable and went through the straw very smoothly. This location had only a few seats for those waiting for their orders. There are self order kiosks and on the day I went it appeared that they either didn't have AC or the AC wasn't working. Loved the logo. Will definitely be coming back for more. Super yummy alternative to bubble tea!

Purple Rice Yogurt
Bernie A.

I was walking by Hey Yogurt in my work attire when someone from the shop kindly offered my coworker and me a free drink. We decided to try the Purple Rice yogurt, and I have to say, this was my first time ordering yogurt from a business instead of just grabbing some from the supermarket. The yogurt was beyond good--smooth, creamy, and packed with flavor. The Purple Rice added a unique texture and taste that made it stand out. Plus, it's not just delicious; it's also very healthy and filling, making it a perfect snack or meal replacement. I really appreciated the free yogurt, but next time, I won't be accepting any freebies--I'll gladly pay because it's worth every penny! I'm already planning to come back when I'm in the area again. If you're looking for a refreshing, healthy, and delicious yogurt drink, Hey Yogurt is the place to go!

Never really drank yogurt as dessert before. Now it's my go to. Recommend the purple rice and red bean.

No real interaction with the staff but they are efficient. Place is clean with some space for seating. Funny conversation to eavesdrop on but a couple was on a date and the girl was talking about her psychedelic experience doing mushrooms and an alien god judging her about her network of friends...I normally don't eavesdrop but couldn't help it in such a small sitting area

This location is accessible via A train at 42nd Street Port Authority. Upon arriving there was a woman in front of me arguing with the staff persistently haggling the price to be lowered, but to no avail. Woman, no means no! There are other bubble tea businesses within the locale that may appease your needs, but not this particular Gong Cha whom apologized for the inconvenience of the inability to lower the price on the product ordered. As I waited patiently, I took photos of this business' environment. The staff stated the cash register is not working and currently unable to accept either credit or debit cards, but cash only payments. Ergo, I was unable to obtain a sales receipt nor a drink label printed. I wonder if the staff reboot the register or check their internet connection to be offline as the cause of non-functioning O/O/O. [1] Customer service is average. Well... if the staff can lower the price for one customer why not lower it for ALL customers? Surely, why not make my drink order as inclusion for lowering the price, please? Hell no, of course not! The conclusion was ironclad. In the real world, this cannot happen. As I stood on line waiting for this woman to let go and walk away from her argument I had shrunk to my own gnawing thoughts. I took photos of the atmospheric environment. There is a cute signage: "Bubble tea where refreshment meets creativity." The pink metal water bottle is very adorably cute which is something that I would certainly purchase. Peach green tea, medium $7.25 My favorite default topping grass jelly (aka herbal jelly) loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my standard request for $0.75 which was good, but not served chilled. At 30% sugar level request, it was slightly higher in sugar content. Former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg would shake his head at me in disbelief with disapproval and disappointment for consuming this excessively sugary drink. The peach green tea was not the cause of the sweetness but a man-made sugar embed measurement error. Nevertheless, this Gong Cha satisfied my bubble tea fix as it is now my addiction - in addition to my other addiction, writing. [1] O/O/O = Out Of Order

Ahh, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my childhood favorite dessert and summons nostalgia! It is my mission to search for bubble tea businesses that offers grass jelly as a topping for my primary reason to patronize. It was abundant which filled one quarter of my medium sized drink. The grass jelly topping is New York City standard priced at $0.50 at least there is sustainability and a sense of normalcy. I requested regular ice, but the entire ice dispensed disappointedly melted and the drink became room temperate. Heat wave medium $6.00 Passionfruit green tea with grass jelly, 50%, light sugar. The drink alone was good quality. While scanning the electronic menu the drink names appear very comical and not business appropriate as well as this bubble tea business name Ho Ho Te. The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil. This business is very accessible by MTA NYC Transit at Port Authority 42nd Street's A, C, E trains and buses near the peripheral of Times Square.
