Decor is awesome and the space is completely covered with all sorts of music memorabilia. These is an ample bar along one side while opposite it there is a stage where live music happens. The musician on the night we went was fantastic. Singing in Russian and some Ukrainian songs as well, he kept our table of ex pats entertained with some songs from Odessa. There is a dance floor where we cut up a rug, so to speak. Food was delicious and came out hot or cold as expected. We had so many different dishes they would be hard to list here but some standouts were the beef short ribs, the crunchy salad and the pickled herring. Everything we ate though was delicious and the service was super. Our waitress was thorough and friendly. Prices were fair and all told, we're about $70 per head in our group of five adults and two children. A full bar will make anything you desire but definitely check out their specialty cocktail menu. Parking is metered on the street by phone or app so is pretty straight forward. Alongside the main restaurant the is a "submarine hatch" the transports you to another vibe entirely. And underwater submarine area complete with karaoke and it's own seating tables and a small bar. Great experience indeed!

The good: The food quality itself could be good. The eggplant salad was actually one of the most unique and delicious salads I've ever had -- surprisingly crunchy, almost like it was all croutons, and nothing like I expected (in a good way). The drinks were solid, and everyone enjoyed their cocktails. The not-so-good (and there's a lot): Portion sizes across the board were shockingly small. The Olivier salad was literally about 3 tablespoons -- barely a bite. The tuna tartare lacked flavor and had weak presentation. For our main course, we ordered beef stroganoff to share, and it arrived in what can only be described as the tiniest bowl imaginable -- maybe 3 tablespoons of actual beef, the rest being thin brown gravy with mushrooms. The mashed potatoes were a single scoop and very clearly boxed, not homemade. We also ordered vareniki, a traditional Russian dish. As someone who grew up eating this food, I can confidently say these were almost certainly frozen -- they were sticking together and didn't taste freshly made. Service was slow, though the staff was polite. Major issues: Water. We were asked if we wanted water and were brought a bottle of Saratoga without clarification. The bottle was gone in about 10 minutes, and when we asked for a pitcher of tap water, we were told the restaurant does not serve tap water at all -- bottled water only, at $8 per bottle. That's honestly absurd. Then, halfway through the meal, we noticed a small placard on the table stating that there is a $15 per person entertainment fee added to the bill. This was never mentioned verbally. The performers were fine -- a man playing an instrument and a woman singing -- but nothing exceptional. The performance jumped between Spanish, Italian, French, Russian, and English songs and felt scattered rather than cohesive. The dealbreaker: The final bill for four people -- before tip -- was $480. That price point is completely outrageous for the portion sizes, the food quality, and the location. This is Hollywood, Florida -- not Miami Beach -- and there is absolutely no justification for those prices. Unless portion sizes increase dramatically, prices come down, and basic things like tap water are offered, I don't see this place surviving long-term. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

However, when we received the bill, we were charged $45 for each beer bucket and $15 per shot. At no point when we walked in, sat down, or ordered were we told that the advertised prices would not apply or that different event pricing was being charged. When we questioned it, we were told that another restaurant across the street was charging a $50 cover for the game, but that has nothing to do with the prices this restaurant advertised to its own customers. If prices are going to change for a specific game or event, that should be clearly disclosed before people order, not after they receive the bill. They offered a $20 credit, but that did not come close to addressing the issue. I am not upset about paying for what we ordered. I am upset that the pricing was not transparent and did not match what was being advertised. Be careful and confirm all prices before ordering here, especially during special events or games. My friends and I will never step foot in here again. Greedy asf.
