Fantastic staining job of my fences and deck railing by Henry and his crew! We were very happy with the results and the overall process. It started with communicating with Maria, who was very responsive. Then Henry came to inspect the property, and gave a reasonable quote the next day. Day 1: Henry and his crew carefully wrapped all my plants before pressure washing all the fences. Then put on sample stains to help us determine the right stain color. Day 2: After checking all the wood was dried, they sprayed and backrolled the stain onto the fences. They use TWP, which is one of the highest quality stains on the market. Day 3: Unfortunately there was light rain in the morning. Henry still came later after the rain to see if the conditions allowed them to continue their job. Together, we determined it was best he come back 2 days later to allow for more drying time before further staining. Even though he now had to reschedule other jobs, Henry did the right thing to postpone. Day 5: Henry and his crew came back and finished off the deck railings and rest of the fences. Took a walkthrough with him and settled our payment. Overall, Henry and his team were very professional and efficient. Henry was also communicative and would text me videos and pictures during the day to show progress. You guys will be the first one I call when I eventually need to restain everything. read more

These guys did a great job building my deck.It wasnt a normal deck. It was 500 sqft wide and at 10ft elevation. Henry and team were meticulous in tearing down the old deck and building the new one as per specification. They kept me informed all along the process and took care of all the inspections till the final permit approval(PS I had to get the permit on my own). They were quick and completed the entire project within a month. Along with the main deck project they also did the staining and my sidewalk. They were pretty reasonable. We hired them to stain our fence. They came by, measured, sent us sample colors, and gave us an extremely fair rate. The day of, the covered all bushes, walls, nearby cars to make sure no stain landed in the wrong spot. The job was perfectly executed. Smoke-em if you got em! This is a long story. I hired Henry to remove and replace the floor of our deck which is elevated 20ft over our backyard. Maria, his wife and business partner, came along to do the initial estimate with Henry. Between the two of them, I found them to be simply good people, with the expertise and a reasonably priced quote to do the work. Well, our deck flooring had pretty bad dry rot, and when we pulled the top layer off, there was dry rot on the support beams as well. *******Now I was in for a big problem; this job just went from any easy retrofit to a full-on permit nightmare. Rules in Belmont, our hometown, say that if you have to replace more than the floorboards, you need to bring the entire structure up to modern code. Now the cost was exploding, and I needed an architect and an engineer to do all the correct calculations for the city permit. I originally had NONE of this, but thanks to Henry, he put me in touch with an architect and an engineer who were both very easy to work with and highly knowledgeable. They were also very quick about turning the plans around. So fast forward to the final project; our one-week project turned into a prolonged 2 1/2-month monster. But the work that Henry and his crew did, which included his sibling, Carlos, did was done quickly and in a very clean manner as soon as the permits were available. He also brought in two other experienced professionals to help with the complexity of the new 20ft support frame, along with a really talented carpenter for some special railing requirements I had. The work was clean and super solid, and what could have been a real mess ended up being a smooth process because of the resources Henry was able to bring in. Dealing with Maria on the phone was wonderful. She was helpful, always responded quickly, and made the booking process very easy. Henry, her husband, did the estimate and then came himself with one additional worker to do the work. They did a perfect job in powerwashing, sanding, and restaining with two coats. The deck looks awesome. They were careful with adjacent plants and covered everything with plastic to avoid any drips. Cleaned everything up.
