Love this wine bar! Came back to visit my hometown and stopped by to have a drink bymyself. I brought a book, listen to their vinyls and drank some wine. I loved the atmosphere and laid back vibes. I got a grazing plate with seasonal fruit. Great escape for a solo date aka treat yourself or for catching up with friends. Suggestion: Would love to see some live jazz nights here. read more

This is such a beautiful space. They play soft music and have various events throughout the month. My favorite part however, is their non-alcoholic menu. I don't drink wine, so I never thought this place would be for me and now I can't wait to return! They also sell boards and sandwiches. This is for sure a local gem. read more

Nice place to go solo or with friends. Calvin is the most gracious host. Like a gentle soul you encounter occasionally throughout your life. The cheese boards are excellent I mean delicious mine cost $15.00 cheese, walnuts and apples all fresh. They all are really cool people with such a great vibe and nice music. My favorite place to have a low key night! Perfect for decompressing after dinner, I came here after my birthday dinner with my mom and it was a great vibe! The seating is very cozy and cute and they have lots of great wine options. There's even outdoor seating available if you want to enjoy some air. The staff is knowledgeable and very attentive. I truly believe this is one of the most classy places in Merced! If you're not in the mood to drink alcohol, let the staff know, they have lots of great and revitalizing non-alcoholic drinks and sparkling water available! This is such a cute place!!! Bailey was the person who was in charge here and she was so helpful!! The ambiance is relaxing and pretty. The wine is good and rotates monthly. Happy hour is 3:30pm-6:00pm. I will definitely be back. Just to note: I am from Los Angeles and love wine country. This place rivals any of those wine bars. Finally a gathering spot in Merced that has gotten everything right. Perfect lighting, inviting warm modern decor, great selection of wine and small appetizers. I enjoy coming here to cap off my work week with my husband. We enjoy the ambiance and the beautiful aesthetics of the place. Their staff is super welcoming and they're always top notch with their service. Wesley was one of their managers that stood out, he always recognized us and was inviting and always made sure to check-in on us frequently. They have a wide variety of wine selection with a nice pairing with different hors d'oeuvres with cheeses, olives, and bread. They are pet friendly, so it's nice to meet up with friends with our pups and enjoy a glass of wine. Indoor seating is ample, with more intimate bar seatings or community seatings. My wife and I stopped by Hi Fi Wine and had a wonderful evening. Annalisa was our host and she was very informative, cheerful, and knowledgeable. We ordered a bottle of Ron Bauer Zinfandel. It was amazing. Based on Annalisa's recommendation we took a bottle of Sextant Zinfandel home to try for another day. This is the place for you if you want to feel unwelcomed and disrespected! The first time I was there, the employee on shift was obviously drunk and slurring his words. I left because I was uncomfortable about being served by a drunk man. I decided to give it another shot and met the owner who also seemed to have had one too many drinks, and vaping inside her establishment despite there being a "no smoking or vaping" sign. Very unprofessional. The owner also spoke ill about her own employees publicly. Will not be returning. read more

Asked for recommendations. They suggested Paris Valley Road 2017. a Cab from Paso Robles. Not a bad wine. $40. I can buy it on Vivino for $13.99. Not cool. Another recommendation was a Tom Legend Zin, also from Pasos Robles, rated as one of the bottom 7% wines from the region. Thank you very little. read more

Walked by this place and caught my eye! My Partner and I love wine, and we didn't there was a wine bar in downtown till now and this place didn't disappointment. Asked the waiter if I can pay extra to select a different salad on the menu and they said No. Pasta is great, salad is average, the beet salad plate was cold, seems like it came straight from the fridge. Pizza took very long to make, it came towards the end of our meal. The waiter gave us some free fries and soups to make up the long wait time. Overall it's not a bad experience, I would go back for pasta dishes only.
