Stopped in this fun spot after a day in Yosemite. Ordered the chicken sandwich, which was super tasty! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had live music inside and we chose to sat outside as it can get pretty loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very fun atmosphere if you're looking for something lively![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food came quickly from the pickup window out.

10/10 for food, drinks, and ambience. There was live music which just put everything else over the top. There's a reason why this is one of the highest rated options in Mariposa!

Fun spot to grab a drink and snack. They are dog and kid friendly so that's always a plus. Lots of room outside for the kids to play and we also met another family and ended up hanging out and eating together. Great spot to check out if your day n town and looking for something to do besides hanging out in your hotel room.

After a long day of hiking at Yosemite, we sped back to Mariposa and ran into the Grove House around 9:36 pm as they were one of the few places open late. With about 24 min left before closing, we were afraid they would turn us away but the woman working at the bar who took our order was very kind and understanding. The food here is so delicious, I'm kind of sad we didn't eat here till our 3rd night staying in Mariposa. My brother got the fried chicken sandwich with the chips and salsa while I got the grove house burger with fries. I had a burger at another popular restaurant in town and this burger beat it hands down, wasn't even comparable. The double patties were so moist unlike the dry patty at the other establishment and I was super stokes that it came with a pretzel bun! I'm super particular about my fries but these were the tastiest crinkle cut fries I've ever had - perfectly crispy, seasoned well with salt and vinegar, and a doughy potatoey inside.

Grilled Chicken Pesto sandwich with fries. A thick chicken breast, moist and cooked perfectly!

First time trying The Grove House for a meal and it was well worth it! We had the Grilled Chicken Pesto sandwich. I chose fries foe my side and my brother had salad. You order at the bar, take a pager, and go pick up your food from the food truck/trailer parked on premises. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Live music on various dates.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our chicken sandwiches were fresh, hot and perfectly cooked. Worth a little wait. Sides were also good. Pleasant staff and a great choice for a meal when in town

Outdoor seating a plenty!

Good food, good drinks, great vibes! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We started going to the Grovehouse for the drinks but honestly it's our go to spot for the atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Never had a less than great time and great company there![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will forever be requesting rap music trivia though

Potato Quesadilla, The Grove House Burger
Felicia L.

The Grove House was such a pleasant place to stop by for dinner after a long drive to Yosemite. My husband and I were both starving, and decided to check it out since he really wanted to try the potato quesadilla. I ordered the Grove House burger with tater tots and left feeling very full. Service was good and there was a live performance when we were there so the energy was great and relaxing. There were tons of seats and tables outside too and overall just a lot of space to move around. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I felt like for the quantity of food I got, it wasn't quite worth the price. For $20, the burger was pretty small and the tater tots were not super special. It tasted good, but was not worth $20.

A selection of what's on tap.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Outstanding brews, cocktails, grub, and live music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Anna makes the best old fashioned ever, they keep the beer varied and delicious, and Miles keeps the kitchen fresh with seasonal menus. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can't find a better local venue for lively music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our favorite local digs for food, brews, and music.

I ordered a beer and chicken tacos with guacamole ( for extra $5)…read more I was given a number as I was sitting outside with my 2 small dogs. I nursed my beer for almost 40 minutes waiting. The 4 adults and 3 kids seated outside with me ordered right before me but were served within 10 to 15 minutes. The server was pleasant and attentive to them. They were basically done eating and another server literally tossed my cold tacos onto table. He was really sweaty and abrupt. The tortillas were stone cold and looked like they must have been cooked at some point because they had brown char marks on them . The chicken was cold and dry cut into cubes with some reddish powder so they may have been moist at some point. There was some white sauce drizzled on them that looked like it had just been applied since it had not soaked in at all. The $5 guacamole was a table spoon at most. The salsa even less. The handful of chips were generic and stale tasting. I asked him if I could get some water since I drank my beer already since I had been there over 40 minutes. He dismissed me abruptly and pointed at sign on table to order online. He left . I was in shock. I was so excited to stop here on way home to San Francisco. The tacos were dreadful. I don't even know how to describe. Cardboard with freeze dried chicken cubes maybe. Food F, Service F, Beer B. Treatment of Senior Citizens F-.

Unfortunately, we had a horrible experience at Miners'…read more I stopped in with my three hungry children after a long day of travel. The experience got off to a rough start when we waited five minutes before anyone acknowledged us or told us where to sit. Once seated, we waited an hour for our food. During that time, we learned that multiple menu items were unavailable. Given the long wait, we expected the food to be worth it, but when it finally arrived, much of it was poor quality and not edible. The most upsetting part of the evening was that our children were already tired and hungry from the long wait, and the overall atmosphere became increasingly uncomfortable. Nearby diners began making negative comments about our children, which left everyone feeling upset and unwelcome. After waiting so long and having such a poor experience, we were surprised that we were still charged for food that was largely left uneaten. I understand that restaurants can have difficult nights, staffing shortages, or unexpected issues. It was clear that the staff were going through a hard time. However, between the lack of service, long wait, unavailable menu items, disappointing food, and uncomfortable atmosphere, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences our family has had in a long time. After leaving, we ate at another restaurant in town and mentioned our experience to a local resident who said she had lived in Mariposa for more than 30 years and had repeatedly had negative experiences at Miners'. Hearing that made us feel like our experience may not have been an isolated incident. I hope management takes steps to improve both the customer experience and food quality going forward.
