This place is awesome! Small bar, large beer selection! Wine too! We tried several of the appetizers/snacks and really enjoyed them. They have pizza too, it should not be missed. Locally owned, run and staffed! If you are in Mariposa, this is a must visit!!

This place is must if you're visiting Mariposa or Yosemite for the weekend! The people are nice, the outdoor patio space is cute, and the beers are great! I would definitely come back.

One of my favorite places in Mariposa! The crew is always eager to help you find something you might enjoy. They regularly change out the beers on tap so your always getting fresh and new flavors. Huge assortment of wines and ciders along with non-alcoholic drinks. Lots of items to nibble on while hanging out with friends or meeting new ones. One of my favorites is the pretzels with beer cheese or any of of the artesian pizzas. The Artesian Pizzas also change daily; often topped with items I'd never think to have on my pizza but it works!

We got the Artesian Pizza to-go which was one of two kinds they had. It was about 17 bucks. The restaurant is really dimly lit with a small sign for the name, so you may miss it at night. We arrived in Mariposa after a long day of driving and they were still open at like 10pm! There was only one worker, so the service was pretty slow. The pizza was not fresh at all. The crust was hard like a rock. The pizza tasted weird, not like spoiled, but the combinations of the ingredients were really different than what you're probably used to. The pizza can feed maybe 1-2 adults.

I really liked this place. It's a really cute wine and beer bar with a limited food menu and an assortment of board and card games for customer use. Friendly service. Indoors were only a few tables and 4 window seats on each side of the door, so social distancing could be a challenge unless one commandeers window seats as we did. The business has a patio but I did not visit it. Pizza was good if not a bit too cheesy; we got the last one (salami and jalapeños) at 8 pm on a Saturday. Would definitely return.

So happy to have found this gem in mariposa. We almost didn't get to try it since they don't open til 4pm. We arrived shortly after opening and sat at the bar. The ladies in this place were super friendly and the beers were even better. The abita was great and the uinta. They also had a good red abbey. Good beer, service and atmosphere. This is where the locals go for sure.. there were many that came in while we sat. Wish we would've tried the appetizers but maybe next time. If you are in the mariposa area or after a day in Yosemite this is a MUST STOP!

Flora and Aaron Savage really did put their heart, soul and elbow grease into developing one of the coolest places around for tasty libations and yummy conversation... and it shows. The decor is eclectic and amazing - almost all items are tastefully and creatively repurposed, from the barnwood walls, to the pew bench, to the antique mail room slots, to the Nesbits wine rack, to the corner wall of window shutter art - they have created a very comfortable environment to gather with old friends and new. If you don't know anyone walking in the door, you will find new friends in meeting Flora and Aaron, as they are friendly, warm and open. I haven't yet tried their beers, but the wine selection is outstanding. I discovered a new local favorite during my last visit. Highly recommend the next time you are heading to the foothills to visit Yosemite, fly at the new zipline park, raft the Merced River or just hang out in Mariposa - one of the coolest little Gold Rush towns around.

Of all the bars located in Mariposa this one definitely stands out as one of the most unique bars I have ever visited. They have quite an interesting selection of drafts and wines which are quite adventurous for an establishment that serves alcohol and Mariposa. They also carry your typical Coors lights and Budweiser's. This place really stands out once you go inside and take a look at the amazing decorations the Edison lights are unique and stunning feature as it is the pulley system that carries the fan when you look up. Their outdoor patio/seating area is also amazing. Once you take in the whole establishment you realize is a lot bigger than what it looks. I showed up with a couple friends and I wasn't particularly looking for anything to drink but their ACE cider actually caught my attention So I took a sample of it and I must say I was in love! The bartenders will also take you on a wonderful journey of beer tasting as my friend had experienced when he went there with me. This place is definitely classy and it is by far my favorite place to have a Relaxing drink with my buddies. They don't serve any Jack Daniels here but they have more than enough beer and wine selections to satisfy. I congratulate the owners and I wish them well And may they be here a long time!

We've been coming to 'The Alley' since the opening. Super cool wine/ beer bar. Love the decor and great service. I'm super picky about wine but love their selections!

We held our wedding welcome mixer at The Alley this past summer. The Alley was such a great venue for our casual event of about 50 people. The owner, Keith, worked with us before the event and had his staff continuously bring out finger foods, beer & wine to our guests. Everyone was impressed with the quality of the food and the great selection of local beers. Beyond having excellent food & drink, the ambiance was great, and the staff was very accommodating. They let us play our own music through their speakers and were very attentive throughout the night. We were worried about finding an affordable place where we could host that many people, but The Alley prices are so reasonable, that our guests had a really great time and we didn't break the bank. We spent most of our time in the back patio, but the interior was also really charming. Awesome food, drink, and service - would definitely recommend!

It was a hidden gem we discovered at Mariposa. Tap beer selection and wine was great. I should've tested it's pizza next time

My 15 yr old ordered the bolognese, he loved it! Then my 11 yr old ordered the kids chicken tenders and he said it was kind of dry but the fries were good. I ordered a Gimlet drink for my birthday. Then at the end decided to get dessert OMG the blackberry chocolate truffle cream was sooooo delicious!!! I've never had that before. Definitely recommend it. We also ordered a cheesecake slice which tasted really good along with the truffle. Our waitress was really nice and when she found out it was my birthday at the end, she took off the cheesecake slice as a gift The restaurant was really nice. Alittle darker side fur lighting. I can see this being a nice date night restaurant or like us celebrating something :-)

They only serve beer, wine, and mead, but hard liquor folks do not worry... mead is essentially the hard liquor of the beer world, but tastes way better and at 20%, you'll drink way less! Their taps offer local beers and an array of imports from all over the world. I also learned that they are one of two bars in the entire Fresno/Clovis area that actually serves Guinness on tap! During my visit, the bartender suggested a something unique; a mixture of two different beers. I cannot remember their names for the life of me, but one was a peanut butter scout mixed with a purple-ish beer from house of Pendragon. All that to say, it tasted like a peanut butter and jelly and was delicious! Gracie, my bartender, was super friendly and very informed all the beers and wines they serve here. Who doesn't love a friendly and info field bartender?! If you haven't been here in a long time or are looking for a new place where you can belly up to the bar, the Bog House pub is it, cheers!
