I have been to this nail salon a couple times in the past. This third time around was not pleasant. Did not have an appointment, was a walk in for a gel new set. I was welcomed by a woman, who said the gentleman man sitting down was available, he was not welcoming, barely spoke to me, and then had an issue with me choosing 3 different nail colors. Which I have done before at other nail salons I have been too. But he didn't seem happy with what I was asking. Will not be going back. read more

$38.00 pedicure. Technician barely scrubbed callous and missed entire areas of foot, only rubbed one side of heel. Hot stone for about 15 seconds on inside of one calf and 2 swipes of the other. Single layer of polish. Polish is on skin in 5 areas. I would show a photo but I'm sensitive about my toes. Lol. When I complained they didn't even care. read more

It has been 2 years since I have been to Fashion Nails. My friend kept telling me to go back since they had new owners. I saw the work on her nails and they do look fabulous. I decided to come back and give them another try. They had no wait time and I was the only customer in there yesterday late afternoon. Mai took excellent care of me. I did a fill and basic pedicure. I just came from this lovely salon. Lee took me for a walk in appointment after a nearby doctor appointment I had today. I got a gel pedicure complete with stone massage, lovely treatment, and awesome color choices and moved to a French gel manicure, artfully designed on my uncared for nails. (A guy in the grocery store after the mani commented on how nice my nails looked!) Lee is sweet and experienced and I surely will return! read more

I last minute got my nails done with a friend, and got a gel manicure. The nail salon was welcoming but I wasn't as satisfied at the end product. Basic gel manicure but the lady doing my nails put the gel right on my cuticles & I knew it wouldn't last a few days because gel right at the cuticles causes lifting. Then once my gel manicure was finished she cleaned me off using a wet warm wipe and used lotion to finish me off but she didn't file off the ends of the nails with the excess gel. I ended up filing my own nails with a small file I had while in the seated area waiting for my friend to be done . She saw I was filing my nails and game me a file. It's been 7 days after I got my nails done and at the cuticles the gel is lifting , and my nail is chipped . I had a manicure before and this was not worth my money. Love this place! I haven't been here in a few years since I moved to Windsor, but I was in the area and will definitely be coming back! The salon is under new ownership, a sweet couple Danny and Lee welcomed me and offered me a drink and a snack. I enjoyed the Tropical pedicure and a brow wax. I came in at 3:30 on a Tuesday afternoon, they werent very busy. I was immediately greeted, after i sat down for a pedicure they offered me water, hot green tea, or a beverage of my choice. The technician Lee quickly got to work on my snaggled toes that hadn't been serviced since Father's Day! She was gentle, kind, informative and very pleasant. Asked if I wanted a manicure to match, I kindly declined & they weren't pushy about it. The inside of the shop is beautiful, clean, organized and has a very relaxing aura.The owner Danyl was super helpful and runs the salon seamlessly. I HIGHLY recommend this Nail Salon! LADIES! NEW OWNERSHIP ALERT!! I am so happy to be typing this review! Same day appointment, called a few hours ahead. I got the "deluxe pedicure" or "collagen spa pedicure": 1. Duration: 1 hour 5 minutes 2. Details: no detail of the pedicure was overlooked, the massage was 10 minutes without the hot stone and another 5 minutes with the hot stone (I timed it for the sake of this review), everything being used was sanitary and or brand new, perfect execution of ingrown toenail's nail, offered hot tea or a bubbly orange juice I also got my lip and brows waxed: 1. Lip, you can't really mess up so no cons there 2. Brows, a little to shaped for my regular but they are even and cleaned up so I can't actually complain. read more

As a plus size woman I told her I didn't think it was appropriate or necessary to talk and question my body size. It is very unfortunate this was not the first time something like this has happened. Just went to the nail salon for the first time literally ever since the first COVID shutdown. New year I figured new nails, fresh start. The owner Joan is amazing. Very kind and great at nails. She had all the proper precautions in place to make me feel safe with COVID. Plexi-glass is up at each nail station, up at the reception desk and everyone is wearing masks properly(over their noses). Really disappointed with my experience and nails. The man doing my nails didn't speak much but when I requested my nails to be a lil thick, he didn't listen and filed them more. He even argued a second clear coat that I requested as well. I asked for a pearl white color and got what was a "special" addition where they take eye shadow pigment and brush it on creating a "chrome" look. This was an extra $10 and wasn't told about it till it was time to pay. My nails look really messy with tons of paint on the curticles and bubbles. First time I came here my nails were great but I can't say I will return with the hidden up-charges that are not labelled or even made aware of. read more

I love it here, its right by my house and the owners are so so nice. They remembered me after coming in like twice and they always get me lookin right.
