I brought my car in to Hi Star on referral from my neighbor who had his Jeep in and fixed after getting rear ended by an uninsured driver, and loved the work done by this shop. Vigen worked with me and got me sn Uber to my rental car and they did a fantastic job on my car, and worked with the responsible person's insurance, all I had to do was pick up my car! Highly recommend Hi Star. As also the receptionist is awesome, friendly and very efficient, as are the other employees I met and worked with there. I recently had to bring my car in again for a fender bender that was my fault, and am excited to pick up my car , as I know it will be like a new car again! Also, my brother has brought by in his Jaguar twice to be fixed due to the garage door coming down on his car and he told me they did an excellent job on his car, hence he returned to them when it happened a second time. I went to pick my car up at up to take it to another body shop and he would not give me my keys and demanded 2 thousands dollars for storage. This has to be the most CORRUPT BODY SHOP in town and I DO NOT RECOMMEND HI STAR. The most UNTRUSTWORTHY shop that I have came across in Las Vegas. You cannot trust a word that comes out of the owner's son Vigan . He is lying, deceiving ,manipulative , disrespectful and conniving individual. They are just there to make money, as much as possibly they can ,from every single individual they come across. They don't care about their customers at all. They will quote you one price and it will ALWAYS come out to be more ,somehow. They will never honor warranty work. I have brought my third luxury car ,which happens to be a Maserati for an alignment, because on my first two luxury cars they performed alignment and everything was fine , but on my third car they didn't do a job right ,because they have rushed it . According to Vigan , he doesn't charge per alignment, he charges per time spent on the alignment, which does not make any sense whatsoever, ( no mechanic shop does it like that) ,so he have rushed the technician to perform the alignment faster, than it should have been done . And the alignment was not done properly and I came back so they can fix it , but this time right, because they provide six months warranty ( that's a lie) . I was so naive believing that they will actually honor the warranty, because they have never had intention to do it. They will blame it on you, a customer ,for being something else, so they will not have to perform an alignment again. It is never their fault. Always a customer's fault. They came out with some kind of a lie and they did not want to do the alignment again. I have been in a car business for 20 years and I know exactly how things work and I know that they didn't want to honor the warranty and they have came out with some type of a lie. That is not how you do business. Stay far, far away from this shop. That is my advice. This is not how you treat a returning customer and I am definitely not coming back to this shop. Rude customer service, they keep your car longer than they should, they don't communicate with you about the issues with your car if insurance is paying, every time I call in there was something new wrong with the car, I would get told something was fixed but then when I talk to another employee they would say it hasn't gotten fixed yet , too much lying,and when I say I don't want it fixed, Kendrick and his buddy will get on the phone yell at you and tell you they don't have to listen to you because you're not paying them, my insurance paid for me to have a spare tire and I was given a torn up tire that had to b throw away and the new rim my insurance paid for they took and said it was the wrong size but they didn't know my uncle looked at it and the rim was the right fit, was told I'll get a new one but no call for the " replacement". I took my car over there to have some clear coat put on the lights. They got me right in, I was not expecting that, and they did a magnificent job. They were all very professional, but more importantly very nice. Kendrick treated me literally like I was family, I had to take a second look at him to see if he was related to me. That's how nice and welcoming they were. The work was immaculate, I would definitely go back again. One of the most impressive things that I have ever seen at any automobile shop that I've ever gone to is , how clean the restroom was, I don't think I will ever see anything like that ever again at any other automotive shop. My story is one well worth sharing, it speaks volumes to the character of Vigen. I had issues with the vehicle and I couldn't figure out what was going on and no one really good. Honestly not satisfied with this place. I went in twice for the same wheel bearing probably within a months span. I've been working on my own cars for about 8 years we just didn't have a table press for this job. I was told it is the front suspension messing with the bearing. I told them the suspension is fine and it's the castle pin and nut being tightened incorrectly. I was ignored. I took it back to get looked at. They tightened the nut and told me it's the suspension. That bearing completely failed within a couple days probably from it being messed with and not fixed. The second time they also had me buy a $80 bearing trying to blame the original part I brought. I didn't take it back a 3rd time I went to a different shop. First time it's replaced it hasn't acted up since and it's fixed. We did no work to the front suspension. So I was charged twice for the same wheel bearing. Ignored when I told them it was being installed improperly, and had it finally fixed at another shop. They also stripped the threading on that tire probably because they didn't hand tighten the nuts first. Lazy rushed work. read more

Brought in my F350 to have the passenger window fixed. The mechanic jumped right on it. Removed the panel and diagnosed it it right away. Parts put on order. Brought my truck back the next day and once again, the mechanic jumped right on it. Took less than an hour to fix. He managed to get all the tape off the window (had it there to keep the window up) that the sun cooked on. The office staff are friendly and kind.
