This year's visits were especially frequent, with emergencies like replacing tires and fixing my brakes, on top of getting my regular service. I swear I'm not the worst driver on earth, but even if I was, I know I'm getting star service . They make sure I'm seen quickly and efficiently every time. Despite surprise emergencies, they follow through with great service, even as walk-ins! I usually work with Juan or Rod in the service department. Juan: 15/10 for fast service and making me feel like a VIP. He answers calls/texts quickly and finds ways to help, even when I'm in a pinch. When my tires were worn out (twice), Juan got me in that same day. I appreciated this so much, especially when I told him I was leaving for a trip that day! He always shows me videos of what's wrong so we can discuss a game plan for repairs. He explains costs upfront before they start, so I'm never surprised by crazy charges. When I come for service, he's very transparent and walks me through what might need fixing outside the regular service, and what we can probably wait on. If you're looking for kindness, efficiency, and honesty, Juan will take good care of you. Rod: Rod was very helpful and able to get me in the same day when my brakes were shot. He was just as transparent, providing images and videos. When we found out my brakes needed more work than expected, he checked in first to see if I was comfortable proceeding. Super communicative and excellent service! Even if my appointment is with Juan, Rod always says hi and checks in with me! Alia (Finance): Alia is a homie! She's always friendly and remembers her customers, even if interactions are brief. Given how often I've come in recently (wah wah), she's made sure to offer options so I don't break the bank. She also gets your car ready right when you're checking out, so there's no wait. AND when the weather's bad (weird rain and heat waves?!), she quickly calls the shuttle so I can go home (I live nearby) and hang out with my dogs instead of waiting in the lobby. My phone, bag, and literally anything and everything I would need to call for help were all inside. Of course, of course. I ended up running into this business and asked the two people working the front that day if they could help. They took time out of their day to try to figure things out for me. Eventually, when it turned out I would just have to call my roadside assistance, they looked up the numbers for me to call and let me use their office phone. That said, I wish I had gotten their names, but my flabbers were too gasted to ask. I didn't even think to step in and thank them once my door was popped open, which I realized once I got home and crashed out on my bed for a bit. So I hope this review can convey my gratitude to them instead. Thanks for rescuing a silly little Honda owner from a full-on mental breakdown. I dropped off my car and turned around to have a late breakfast. While I was eating, I received a call from Acura. They had clearly promised to contact me in the afternoon. Acura of Glendale told me that because my car had other aftermarket products installed (such as a front camera with recording capabilities), they could not fix it according to their policy and told me to take it away. Ah... I really went through a lot of trouble to get there. How many 10-year-old cars would there be without a front camera installed like that? I explained to them that I had already disconnected all the wires connected to my battery's negative terminal, but their answer was the same. What choice did I have? If they wanted me to take it, I had to. I immediately contacted a nearby place called Honcura, which is a long-standing shop with good reviews. The owner, who had a kind voice, readily told me to bring it in. I mentioned that my car had aftermarket products, but he didn't mind. My car is still there now, and those kind people are working hard to fix it. I was extremely disappointed with Acura of Glendale this time, and I think it was a really foolish thing to have wasted my time booking an appointment there without a shred of doubt. My appointment was at 8:30 since the advisor(Ara) gave me attitude for being late five minutes last time. decided to go early this time. I was there at 8:20 and I did check in and everything. I was still there until 11:45. He told me I will be done in one hour max one hour and half. Guess what? He forgot about me and made me sit in waiting area for three hours. Ridiculous, I had to walk outside look for him and ask what's going on? Then with a nasty attitude. He told me to follow him to the office. Mind you him and co workers started talking about what to order for lunch while I was waiting for my paperwork. Paperwork's that were supposed to be done two hours ago. No apology or anything. Zero customer service what's so ever. This will be my last time taking my car to this location. At least other dealerships value your time and keep you updated via text messages. Nothing here just unfriendly staff. Even lady at the customer service counter had unfriendly attitude. At least try to pretend to be friendly to customers. Save yourself time and energy and take your cars to other places. I wonder how this place has been in business all these years.
