I had to pay because if not my car not pass the smog check, he could waive the fee it didn't required a re test!!! I'm in desagree with that!!! read more

So happy I found this place. Found a coupon online for $25 plus $8 and change for the certificate. Called and was told they had no wait. Arrived and the very nice man checked me in, and even offered to turn the heater on for me. They have a little wait area with some good magazines, not that I needed them, since I was in and out! The whole thing from arrival to leaving took less than 15 minutes. Was able to get it done on my lunch break with plenty of time to spare. The man told me I could pay it online the following day and my stickers would arrive in about 12 days. Friendly, fast, knowledgeable, and affordable!! I can't recommend Hi Tech Smog enough. Came here on a last minute notice. I was going to go to this other place but the other place was charging way more. The owner was friendly over the phone when I called asking for the price and he offered me the coupon discount on his website without me even knowing about it which took 25 dollars off my total. Took my car here for a smog, with appointment, that took over an hour. Seemed that many people were being told things were wrong with their cars. My car had the check engine light on which I later found out would cause a failure on smog, but this business ran it anyway and charged me for it. I would expect a business to know and advise a customer about this up front. I strongly recommend going elsewhere!! read more

Time to smog the Tacoma! So what do I do? get on my hometown's small business circular and found Hi Tech Smog with a sweet coupon for a smog check. I was puzzled why was the price so great, you know what? I won't ask stupid questions like that anymore and just take advantage of such a great offer. The place was impeccable and Mrs. Kaur was efficient, friendly and professional. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. I really enjoy dealing with local "mom & pop" businesses and will definitely bring my other vehicles here. I wish them success. They accept cash, debit and credit cards, I recommend using cash to avoid having them pay for the credit card usage fee but as they said, they will happily accept all forms of payment mentioned. I think he targets women, by the time I got out of there it cost me $50.75 and there was nothing wrong with my car, except I had to drive it for a while to warm it up, which I mentioned before he started, and he told me I did not need to do that. Afterwards he told me it failed and for me to drive it for a while, which I did, and it passed then he wanted another 30.00 when I complained he said he would take $20.00 I will not return to his shop!! read more

This place is near my house, and after reading the Yelp reviews, I decided to call. He told me to come over any time. I didn't get there for 2-3 hours, and he saw me immediately. I could not believe how fast it was - It probably only took 10 minutes, if that. He also explained to me that the results (Passing) would be sent to DMV first thing in the morning, so to wait until tomorrow before I go online to renew my registration.
