Edgar the owner was very helpful on the phone unlike other shops that wont give you any advise on what to do and tell you just bring it in for an estimate. Waste of time! Lack of communication and miscommunication that could've saved me time. Took my Surface Laptop last Saturday, they told me to expect a call back by the following Saturday with the diagnostic, then I would have to wait longer to see my options and actually get it fixed. Called the following Saturday, told me the "IT guy" currently had it open and they would call me by Monday with the diagnostic and to present my options to me. Come end of day today right before they closed (Monday) after almost a week and a half of waiting they tell me over the phone that they called their people to see if they had the parts to fix my laptop before opening it and they didn't, so they weren't able to do anything. He specified that before opening my laptop he called to see if they had the parts (which confused me because when I called on Saturday he told me my laptop was currently open). When I got there to pick it up, I noticed the keyboard was all ripped up and he told me that they opened it but realized they wouldn't be able to fix it. Overall waste of time will not be going back. Save your time and go elsewhere. Didn't resolve my issue, ripped up my laptop, and wasted my time. read more

I found this place here on YELP and I am glad I did. I brought in a very old MacBook which had been awesome to me. I had issues with it and my hopes weren't too high since it's old. HiTek ran a free diagnostics test on it the following day and were able to determine that it needed a new motherboard. Since I hadn't backed up my computer in well over a year, they did a data transfer for me for $50 bucks. It was not worth repairing and it was $50 well spent. Hi-Tek Solutions did a great job of fixing the sound on my computer when I couldn't figure out a solution to save my life. Their repairs are super quick and efficient, the only snag was that the speaker parts took a day longer than was estimated, but that's not on them. They were very attentive and patient, and followed up with me a week later to make sure the speakers were still working. Would definitely go there again for any future computer issues. read more

Edgar was really great when he came to help with our business computer. Tried some diagnostic tests and said he would need to take it back to the office to look deeper. He found the solution very quickly: we needed a new hard drive. We got the computer back in a few days once the part came in and Sergio dropped it off. While Edgar was here we were having some other audio trouble which he took the time to try and diagnose but his company focused on tech solutions, not audio wiring. Wish I found them sooner! These guys are it. Since this whole pandemic of COVID-19 and homeschooling my kids I came to find these people on yelp. My daughter accidently split water on our old mac laptop. Looked for places that were local to my area and I stumbled upon Hi Tek Solutions, read their reviews and decided I'd go and get a quote from them. The price they gave me was reasonable so I went with it and they said it would take about 2 weeks. I'm about to go in and pick up my PC which has been repaired.
