And the outside was not fresh, it was turning a weird kind of tan and getting hard. In other words , they were old pierogies that had gone bad and should not have been sold. About 4 years ago, I purchased a specialty cheese that had two stickers on it. The section mgr. simply grabbed a new package, marked it "No Charge," handed it to me and took the re-labeled from me. This is not a mistake. This is BAD POLICY. Foods are labeled PERISHABLE for a reason. I will not give Mariano's / #Kroger a third chance. If I could rate this "No Stars" I would.
