First off, the parking sucks! Parking in front of the buffet is very limited so if you happen to come at a time where the buffet is busy (like Sunday afternoons, for example), you'll probably have to park across the street by East Pearl and Home Depot and walk across to Hibachi. As expected of a buffet, there is ample seating and there are bigger tables towards the left of the buffet. The food selection isn't anything amazing but they do have a good selection of food. They also have a good sushi selection but nothing too fancy. They have a hibachi bar where you pick your ingredients and the workers will cook it for you and they also have a noodle bar where you can pick your ingredients and the workers will make a bowl of noodle soup for you. I honestly don't think Chinese buffets have bad service but their service isn't exceptional either so I'll say that the service was okay. Our drinks were refilled and our empty plates were taken away in a timely matter so it's good enough for me. There are many "hibachi buffets" out there so if you're looking to add another "hibachi buffet" to your list of "hibachi buffets" then definitely check this place out. read more

I have been to this buffet for like 12 years. This is my first buffet place when I moved to Georgia. I had tried buffets all around Atlanta area. But this one is like a little hidden pearl in Atlanta. For the price compare to food quality, nowhere can beat it. And yes, for real, it's 12 years, the food not only good, but even taste better by time go by. You can't believe this is buffets because the food is so fresh and taste like a real ...real restaurant. I would recommend people come on week days because they are always crazy busy on weekend (Sat, Sun). The staffs are very friendly, I feel very welcome when I eat here. Emmy and Damien are two people usually serve my table. Damien is sweet guy, and Emmy is always watch out to see if I need any help, or clean table, there are one more lady who wears glass who just serve me recently, she is nice too. But mostly all staffs are always smile at customer and very responsible, they always walk around to check if customer need any help. Sometimes I saw few customers acts mean, or picky, but the staffs always said "Sorry" first no matter who side fault is. I don't really review much unless there is something special, that place gives me something very passion, then I will do. This place gave me both special: food quality, and passion: memorial of first place I ate when I moved to Georgia, and the friendly staffs. This place isn't terrible and the place is clean, but it just wasn't as good as some of the other buffets that I have been to in Gwinnett. Overall a pretty good place for a quick lunch with tons of variety. This buffet is not really large, but sometimes the really large buffets can be overwhelming with options. There are tons of sushi roll options, about 4-5 soups, dessert options, and fruits. Some items that are more unique are the pigs feet, chicken feet, sesame balls, hibachi and noodle bowl options, whole fish, and steamed dishes. The pigs feet had really good soy sauce (dark) sauce flavoring. I personally had trouble scooping up a part of the whole fish, but the tiny bit I managed to get on my plate was delicious. I did not get a chance to make a noodle bowl or hibachi, because I was short on time and just looking for a quick lunch with my husband. I would definitely go back for a quick and easy lunch. The mexican cook didnt speak any english , indicated that he rang the bell and no one answered so he threw it away. How ever there was a plate with herbs and spices to the side waiting for the soup. Customer knew he cloudnt care lessbecause he was closing for the night and in a hurry. After finally getting her soup, she talked to the manager and no apology was heard from mexican cook staff or chinese manager. Busy place! I could totally see why after a trip to the buffet area. These guys do a good job at keeping the food offerings refreshed and I found everything to be seasoned well. Pretty diverse offering but not overly so which seemed to allow them to focus on proper seasonings. It's a little far from where I live but I'd consider it the go to spot for Chinese food now. Definitely most of your standard offerings served but just a bit tastier and fresher than many I've experienced so far. I don't think you'd be disappointed if you were to check it out. I enjoy the meats (chicken and fish ... ). My colleague enjoys the crab legs. If you are hungry and I think this is a good place to go. Service waitresses are smiling and efficient. Space are large. You could invite your friends; a group of 8, 10, 15, ... not a problem. Talking about location, this restaurant locates at the busy Pleasant Hill Road, intersection with Hwy 85. It has a large private parking lot. ASSI, Home Depot, BestBuy are all around. Of course, for highest quality and clean environment, you could try Sydney Buffet. But I can not afford its high price and therefore I could only attempt to go there (Sydney) once every few months. For a price of $9 ~ $10 (half the price from Sydney) I consider Grand Buffet. I would say this buffet restaurant is among the top 3 in Northern Atlanta metropolitan, when taking price into consideration. One of the best buffets I have ever been to. The food was fresh and excellent variety. No wasting food here...empty plates and full stomachs. They had the Taiwanese style pot roast beef, grilled salmon, and sea bass, which all tasted great. They also had leafy veggies and a pretty good variety of veggies. The food was sub par. I found myself filling a plate with food I wanted to try, and eating only half of it due to the lack of quality (even finding a hair in my mussel). I also found the amount of hovering the waitresses were doing almost overbearing. The total came out to $14 (which was not worth the experience/service we received). When it came time to pay, our waitress came RUNNING to take our cash. When she returned our cash, a group of other waitresses came over (who had not even served us) and began asking (almost SCREAMING) for tips. They waited with their hands out, as my group and I gave one of the woman (who had never served us) the tip. They then began to ask personal questions to my Asian friend and then essentially pushed us to leave.
