Amazing service and amazing food! I came here for lunch and had a great experience. I love their lunch specials, especially since they come with soup. Their lo mein noodles tasted great and it was a generous portion. The calamari was nice and crispy and came out piping hot, which was much appreciated! Their new bar area is really nice and gives it an elevated look. They are speedy at lunch hour, so don't worry about your service or food taking too long!

Visiting from out of town so my first time here. Very nice dine in Chinese restaurant but of course the take out was busy too and they were very precise. It was pretty crowded for a Monday but with the holidays and all understandable, I was by myself so I sat next to the bar . Bartenders took my order and kept my drinks filled right on queue! Peking Chicken was excellent as well as the egg drop soup. I will definitely visit again in the future!

Took two hours to get our food . Excuse was the kitchen was backed up from all the to go orders . How about take care of the patrons sitting and the about 50 waiting to get seated before Door Dashers . Will not be coming back here as this was more of an above the top money grab at the customers experience.

We ordered our food to-go and it was ready in 15 minutes! They always double check the order before sending you home with it. The restaurant was renovated since we were last in and looks great. We ordered the crab wantons, king pao chicken and double pan fried noodles. (We had already eaten some when I took the pictures attached)

Food that was left after we found the hair

The food tasted good but my daughter found hair in her fried rice which we all ordered so there was no more eating after that. We ended up paying for a bunch of food that we didn't eat because of the hair. They took the rice off of my daughters bill but didnt care past that. It was our first time going and won't be back.

Always great food and service. In my opinion the best Chinese restaurant in the area by far.

Don't be fooled this packed so much flavor! Yummy

The food is always fresh and delicious. I've had anything bad there. It's the best Chinese food in the upstate South Carolina area.

Ask the Community - Lieu's Chinese Bistro

    Do they take reservations?

    Is there a kids menu?

No, but my kids enjoy eating plain lo mein. You could also get Lieu's Spicy Chicken without the sauce and it would basically be chicken nuggets.

Unquestionably, the Roti Canai is the delicious signature dish here. Tip: order an extra "pancake"…read moreor "roti". Roti is a general, broad (Sanskrit) term for any type of bread or flatbread, whereas "roti canai" is a specific, popular type of flaky, layered flatbread from Malaysia. This is served with a curry chicken sauce, but really there is not a lot if chicken, android the pancake is crispy, layerd, fluffy, piping hot, and unbelievably good. The curry is like a butter chicken, Indian influenced curry. As mentioned, this is at heart a Malaysian restaurant but also served Chinese and Thai classics. Also unquestionably, the decor could use some serious help by the Restaurant Impossible crew. It feels cramped and like a Halloween costume of a Chonese ir Asian restaurant, lacking any character or charm. The service is attentive, but most likely students from nearby Furman. It is somewhat amusing to me for some reason when, mid-meal, the waitress arrives to the table with a pitcher of ice water and looks at our empty water glasses to ask "would you like more water?" It was linch. The roti was superb. The $4.00 "pork egg roll". Was a single, skinny, overcooked, under stuffed appetizer with a thin duck sauce accompanying it and tasting like a commercially premade dish. Never to be ordered again. The main I chose was the chicken bulgogi lettuce wrap, which was served with romaine lettuce (not the classic cold, crunchy iceburg. It was overly ratioed with diced water chestnuts ti chicken and it was also very sweet and nothing bulgogi about it. The ingredients might be in this dish, but the composite wasn't the thinly sliced "fire meat" (what the word bulgogi means) expected. It chad chunky chicken, not slices and the sauce was overly sweet and gloopy (too much corn starch) and no spiciness. My wife had a serviceable Tom Yum soup that she said she would never order again. We do eat out frequently at Korean and Thai restaurants and these dishes really are not on the same level. But, the Roti Canai is so hood, we will definitely be back to eat again.

Whether dining in or ordering takeout, Koi Asian Bistro is easily one of our go-to spots in town!…read moreI've never been a huge pad thai fan, but after trying theirs, I honestly get cravings for it weekly. Unlike a lot of other local Asian spots, everything here tastes incredibly fresh and never overly salty. The ambience is beautiful and the layout (and many windows) ensure that every seat in the restaurant is "the good table". The lovely people who work here are genuine, friendly, and attentive. The restaurant uses a cute server robot to deliver you beverages, and other items. Server staff still come to check on you so it's really just a fun addition and not a replacement for waitstaff. And the portions are GENEROUS! We always end up with enough leftovers for a full second meal or a late-night snack to share. Highly recommend!

Very Disappointing Experience…read more First off, the service was terrible. It took over 30 minutes for our food to come out, despite the restaurant not being very busy. The hibachi chicken was cut into huge, uneven chunks, and the portion of rice looked like it was being rationed. The presentation overall was not very appealing. We were also given the wrong vegetables, and when the carrots were brought out separately, they looked undercooked to the point that I didn't feel comfortable eating them. The sushi was also extremely disappointing. The rolls looked like they had simply been thrown onto the plate rather than being properly arranged and presented. Presentation was easily a 0/10, and the sushi itself was maybe a 3/10. I eat at a lot of Asian restaurants around Greenville, and unfortunately, Koi would be one of the worst experiences I've had. Between the poor service, incorrect food, lack of presentation, and disappointing quality, I would not recommend Koi if you're looking for good Asian cuisine.
