Hot girl roll, yellowtail jalapeno roll, salmon avocado roll, tuna and spicy tuna nigiri
Alicia J.

Wanted to like this spot more as I had been craving all-you-can-eat sushi and looked forward to coming here before a nearby show. I came for an early dinner and the restaurant never got very busy, but service was slow and spotty; we didn't get an item we ordered (not a huge deal since it was AYCE and we technically didn't pay for it, but still eyebrow-raising) and we had to keep making an effort to get a server's attention. That was difficult since the two workers often seemed to be in the back or serving and seating other guests - the restaurant might need to hire more people. No real complaints about the food - sad they were out of uni but don't blame them much, and I didn't realize the crispy spicy tuna roll is literally a deep-fried sushi roll and I probably wouldn't get that again, but the menu is pretty extensive (even including special rolls) and these more standard sushi all hit the mark. If we were able to more consistently make orders, I'd probably find it a pretty solid value but the slow service and our time constraint made this occasion a little less satisfying. Might still give it another chance as it's one of the only AYCE sushi places in the area, or maybe I'd get a la carte to just have to order once.

Bento dinner

Excellent downtown Rittenhouse area Japanese restaurant that has BENTO box dinners. Most places only have bento for lunch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is super cool modern and exciting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was excellent. And the price... yes, the price for a bento was awesome! We enjoyed our bentos and got out of there without breaking the bank for dinner. Thank you!

Had a great meal! Only really tried them because Uber eats has a buy 1 get 1 free deal, but it didn't disappoint!! I got the Black Angel roll and Yellowtail Jalapeño roll. Both had an excellent fish to rice ratio. Fish tasted fresh with no weird "fishy" taste. Flavorful and unique! Will order from them again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Look forward to eating in so I can experience the ambience and service as well![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Food was truly delectable and fresh. I was neither surprised or disappointed by this gem of a restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's very causal but has an upscale vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was timely and prompt if that makes sense and it was friendly and not overbearing. It was my birthday and I celebrated with my hod son from California and he enjoyed it just as much as I did. Thanks for the pleasant experience on my birthday

Great Sashimi we order it at least once a week. I order the Tuna Salmon Calamari Salad. Dragon Roll & Rainbow Roll. Samurai Sashimi Salad. Makes a Wonderful dinner. The woman at the front desk is very nice and the whole staff is as well.

nice spot for sushi! Stopped by for a quick bite and tried the spicy salmon roll and the spicy crab roll which were both good. The spicy crab roll filling tasted nice and fresh. The employees are kind and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place also had a nice calm atmosphere with the darker setup.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I hope to come again and try out the other rolls on the menu

Food was good and priced fairly. The sushi was amazing and had so many options. Casual spot that was super quick and friendly.

Loved the food here! Ate here for dinner during our visit to Philly. They have an AYCE sushi option on Tue to Thu for $35. The price is definitely worth it given the quality of the sushi. We tried the Rainbow Roll, the American Dream Roll, and the Crispy Tuna Roll. Also had the Kani salad. Everything tasted very fresh! We also got complimentary mochi. Would return if we're in Philly again.

This spot is a little hidden as you have to go into the small courtyard and up some steps, but once you find it you're greeted by the cozy interior. There is a lunch special menu if you're here at that time. Many choices come with either soup or salad. The red snapper teriyaki was very tender and nicely cooked over a bed of assorted vegetables with a side bowl of rice. Sushi rolls were nicely filled. Prices were fair and the service is quick. The presentation is also very appealing, everything served on earthenware with nicely plated garnish. Overall a good spot to go for a meal. Thanks

We loved getting to try a variety of flavors, and everything was beautifully prepared. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, the drinks were amazing, and the entire meal was absolutely worth it. We left already looking forward to coming back and would highly recommend it! The only minor downside was that it got pretty warm inside. It was during the heatwave, so I don't think the A/C was able to keep up, but it definitely wouldn't stop us from coming back. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience!

We sat in a cozy corner booth and could easily hear each other although we could not read the menu or clearly see what we were eating the lighting is so dim (and consistent with the gothic theme). Now onto the food. We ordered 9 dishes (waiter suggested 8) and it was way too much for us and I'm a big eater! Edamame dumplings - 4/5, may be just me, but I don't really enjoy mushy fillings to my dumplings. The broth they came in was amazing though Tuna rice cracker - 4/5, not really a cracker, more like a crunchy mini loaf of rice topped with tuna and a slice of jalapeno - delicious and much more filling than what I was expecting. I only gave a 4 instead of 5/5 for taste because of the unexpected presentation of the "cracker" Shishito pepper small plate - 5*/5 outstanding! I could eat these all day they were so delicious. I'm not sure how they flavor these or what light crunchy sprinkles were on top of this very generous portion of peppers (I would estimate maybe 30 peppers?) I'd go back just for this dish Black cod fried rice - 3/5, I should know better that a miso black cod will be somewhat fishy, and with it spread in chunks throughout the fried rice I'd say this was my least favorite dish. Crispy brussels sprouts - 4/5, a solid offering, not much to write home about Crispy tofu - 3/5, not particularly unique although it sounded amazing when described - cubes of deep fried tofu drizzled with peanut sauce on a bed of cilantro pesto. But not that tasty and not that interesting Scallop robo - 5/5, excellent with a kick from the spicy powder on these, note these are very small portions, three slices of scallop (not even a full scallop or if these were full scallops they were very thin) on a stick Ribeye scallion robo - 5/5, also excellent, with three chunks of tender grilled beef Mochi ice cream: passion fruit, matcha - 4/5, but mostly because I'm not a huge fan of mochi ice cream, I'd rather just have the ice cream or have it with a brownie or between two cookies So overall, service was great, not overly attentive. And the food was very solid with an outstanding exception with the shishito peppers. I'm not sure I'd go back as it is very dark in there and if I was seated on the first floor I'd not be able to have conversation with my dinner mates.

I come here for happy hour every now and then because the prices are really great, and both the food and drinks are delicious. We started with the specialty cocktail and the Thai Punch, and both were really good. They had fruity undertones, and the alcohol wasn't overpowering at all -- I could easily have a few of these. For food, we got a few orders of the kung pao chicken wings. They were perfectly crispy with a really flavorful glaze. The portion size was also very generous, especially for the happy hour price. These are a great example of Asian-style fried chicken wings done right. I definitely want to come back and try their full dinner menu since I've only been here for happy hour so far. This time our server explained the tasting course, but we decided to order a la carte. A refreshing Ming Mule came out first and it was just what I needed after being inside of a stadium on a 100 degree day. We also ordered an order of the pork bao which was so tasty. You can never go wrong with a pork belly appetizer and each order comes with two. The shrimp pad Thai had all the flavors you expect from a classic pad Thai but with their own twist. The Szechuan chicken was crispy and had sweet notes. Definitely two great picks. Opted out from dessert because we were so stuffed but they have a great ice cream cone option if you are in the mood.

We were a party of two and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The Highlights: Quality: This is hands-down the best quality "all-you-can-eat" (AYCE) sushi I've had. Unlike other places where the fish can sometimes taste frozen, everything here tasted fresh and high-quality. Service: Our server, Jordan, was incredibly attentive and made our lunch even better. Menu: The miso soup was delicious, and the salad portion was generous. The fried calamari was also great, though the pieces were on the smaller side. While the chicken teriyaki was a bit disappointing, the rest of the meal more than made up for it. Value: At approximately $33.85, the AYCE price is a great value for the quality you receive. They also have an extensive ramen menu--while it's not included in the AYCE price, it looked delicious and is something I'm excited to try next time. Overall Thoughts: The restaurant was very quiet during our lunch visit, which made for a relaxing meal, though I imagine it gets lively during happy hour. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're looking for fresh sushi and great service!
