Brown rice- no veggie or egg

Food is pretty good, but the fried rice is advertised as having egg and vegetables in it, and it's just brown (soy sauce?) rice. I was pretty disappointed by that! I felt mislead by what I ordered.

3.5. Decent for take-out sushi, although it feels small because its 6 pieces per roll. Each roll was very protein heavy, which partly made up for only getting 6 pieces. Flavor was great and fish tasted fresh. You have to order on an app for pickup. It said our order would be ready in 15 minutes. We arrived on time, and it then took an additional 15 minutes to get our food. They added in free mochi for the wait which we appreciated! Would try it out and give them a chance again.

Offering drive thru pick up during Covid! First time ordering (over the phone-very polite), was created with a smile (i could tell under that mask ) & thanked when was given my change. Politeness goes a long way with me. We ordered the seaweed salad, quart of Miso (so I can have leftovers ), spicy tuna & angel roll. Was very fresh, tasted delicious! Happy all around, will definitely be ordering again from here!

They gave my food to someone else, then another server took it away from them and gave it to me. Not what I'm expecting for service. There were only 2 tables of us at the time.

Sakura stepping up their game with a classy holiday touch. So impressed. Our order got a little delayed in being delivered, it was going on over an hour, but only about 10 mins past the estimated delivery time. I said out loud "I'll give them five more mins before I call." Then they called me and apologized for the delay. I'm sure it's crazy busy right now and they took the time to call me. They updated our delivery time and it arrived earlier than expected. Now, they did not have to do this, but it really was a nice touch. In our order was one of those iconic blue tins. I knew what it was before I even opened the bag. Royal Dansk Cookies. Made me laugh and completely forget about anything that may have caused us to not eat dinner until 9 o'clock at night. All is forgiven. That is the way to my heart. Sushi and cookies. Love you Sakura. Happy holidays. Thanks for going above and beyond to make this family feel special again!

This spot is not the best. I had california roll and other family members had other stuff. Wasn't that flavorful and messed up my stomach.

If you're looking for really good sushi and Japanese food, I recommend this place. I saw Japanese…read morecustomers dining there. It's a good sign that that they serve legit food. Enoki and egg soup is my favorite appetizer. Light broth with umami and perfect saltiness. My second favorite appetizer is agedashi tofu. So silky like pudding with light teriyaki broth. Beef roll up with scallions: beef is tender with some kind of sweet teriyaki sauce. It's pretty good. Eggplant filled with ground chicken. It looks appealing but unfortunately a bit too greasy. The sushi here is very special. The sushi rice is silky and moist. The fish piece is bigger than the rice. The eel is a must try here. It's very big compared to the rice underneath it. It very flavorful too. Mt entree is steamed salmon with seafood broth. I recommend squirting the lemon to the broth to make it taste like yuzu sauce as it lightens the whole dish and makes it less fishy.

PRO: I will say, if you want a place where you can sit and have a conversation, dark mood lighting (especially forgiving if the last time you saw each other alot was 20 years ago! - LOL), Sagami is an excellent choice. PRO: They don't rush you out - take your time. It was a Thursday night, so not especially busy when we came at 6:30 PM. CON: I could not find an updated menu online - I'm one of those people who like to peruse a menu in advance. I started with a vegetable tempura appetizer ($10) - excellent, light, airy, tasty. My main was the dragon roll - very tasty. Service was quite nice. Appetizers came out almost immediately, the rolls took a lot longer to get to our table. This is the kind of place where you're not paying to fill up your belly - but if you do, expect to shell out some bucks.

(If you've never had it, it's a sweet squash and it's delicious and you should definitely try it!) We started with the salmon skin salad which was so unique! It has all our favorites! Salmon skin (obviously) kani, seaweed salad, and caviar. We got the sauce on the side because we were worried it would be too spicy, but it was delicious! It was still good that it was on the side so I could control how much I used. Next we shared the kampyo (or is it kanpyo? I can never remember) roll and a mackerel and tamago roll (not on the menu but they made a great one and you should try that too!) Finally we shared tofu teriyaki. They served SIX huge pieces of tofu (probably an entire brick of tofu) The sauce was delicious and it came with onions and veggies. If I had to nitpick, the veggies could be cut a little smaller but no complaints over all. We are taking most of the tofu home. The service was great. Our server was polite and professional. I didn't even have to ask for fresh plates between the sushi and the tofu. As for atmosphere, it's a little dark but they play great music (lots of '80's!). The music is soft and not obtrusive. We will definitely be back!

Fuji is one of those spots you leave already planning your next visit. Solid food, good energy, and no gimmicks--just a reliable go-to when you're craving Japanese done right.

A stormy night when our first options were either crowded or far too expensive ($40 for a buffet,…read morereally?)! So, Mt. Fuji was calling ... and Mt. Fuji's warm welcome and superb sushi clearly were the right choice once again! When you walk into this classic Japanese restaurant you can choose to head to the noisy Hibachi grill section where the chefs entertain, or you can choose the side where the sushi chefs are working their magic within view. What I really like is the wall ... if you want to enjoy a quiet meal of sushi and sashimi the wall keeps the comic performance from disturbing your tasting of the fresh seafood. Speaking of fresh seafood ... oh my! Each bite of our sushi offered that fresh flavor of the sea that you expect when eating raw fish. My specialty roll's flavors were so good ... SOOOOO GOOD!!!!! And, the regular rolls provided the simplistic tastes of the fish of choice. The service was outstanding, and it was hard to miss the staff's interaction with other customers. When you walk in you are greeted with a warm smile. You are checked on regularly but not overwhelmingly and your tea is refilled as needed. Finally, another mark of a quality restaurant that we have never tried but was clearly evident was the number of take out orders awaiting to be picked up. We saw smiling customer greeted by staff members as they picked up their take out. So, if you are confused by the choice of a buffet that will cost you $40 versus a quality restaurant where the food is made for you at half the price ... well, I made the right choice and you should too!
