Buckeye Hibachi is hands-down one of my go to spots! The portions are huge and the prices are really fair for how much food you get. Customer service is always top-notch the lady at the front (not sure if she's the owner, the wife of the owner, or just runs the register) is always so friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious every time. I usually get the full hibachi spread fried rice, cabbage, onion, zucchini, mushroom, plus steak, chicken, shrimp, and lobster. Everything is cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Their Yum Yum and ginger sauces are absolutely immaculate! The crab Rangoon is also really good I just wish it had a little more filling, but it's still a tasty treat. One time they forgot an item, but before I even left the parking lot they came out and brought it to me. That kind of service is rare these days and really impressed me. This establishment is in the very busy shopping complex next to the bar Bon Aire. Cabbage is the only vegetable included for free. Lots of rice and decent amount of chicken and steak for about 16$. The protein is very under seasoned. Some more teriyaki sauce or marinade for the meat would be nice. The yum yum sauce is good and is the saving grace. Ask Yelp for guidance and you end up with gems like this. Tonight's dinner was delectable. Hibachi Steak & Chicken. The zucchini, cabbage and broccoli were the perfect texture. The chicken was flavourful and moist. The steak was equally as good, not overcooked. I wasn't a fan of the yum yum sauce, a bit too bland, but it could be me. I prefer the garlic sauce. Pro Tip: Consider the Buckeye fried rice. It has a wonderful combination of Steak, Chicken and Shrimp making for a great meal or compliment. Large portions and friendly service. My recent experience with Buckeye Hibachi wasn't good at all. The cabbage wasn't hot, and it was mushy and overcooked. The shrimp was grilled fresh and okay, but the fried rice wasn't fresh off the grill, and the taste wasn't there like it used to be. I am assuming that rice is pre-fried and served out of a big pot as ordered, and not reheated on the grill when ordered. Also, the yumyum sauce didn't even taste good. I ordered the Chicken and Shrimp for $14.99. The chicken was disgusting, I seriously doubt that it's actual chicken. The shrimp was terrible. It wasn't peeled properly, and tasted repulsive. The rice was over sauced and over seasoned. The cabbage was cabbage, I mean all you have to do is boil it. The lady at the desk was great, but it cant make up for the food. The chicken hibachi was easily enough for two with the appetizers or possibly even without them. How have I never heard of this place? Buckeye Hibachi is literally three miles away from my home and I have lived in my home for six years! Such a shame (and a blessing for my figure, I guess). It is located next to the Little Caesars in the small, little plaza off Chatterton. I was craving some hibachi so I decided to order some hibachi chicken, crab rangoon, and two yum yum sauces (for a total of $23) to go. The restaurant is pretty small in size, but you can dine in if you'd like. The hibachi chicken was super flavorful, but the chicken was a little dry. I may try the shrimp or scallops next time. I really like the added cabbage to the meal. The serving size is huge! It's enough to feed you twice! You can definitely eat the meal on it's own...it's that tasty, but who passes on yum yum sauce when you have it in hand? I added my two yum yum sauces and some Siracha to the hibachi chicken and it was amazing! The crab rangoon was great too! They were hot and crispy and super good with the sweet and sour dipping sauce! I will definitely order from Buckeye Hibachi again (maybe not the chicken though). read more

Crazy treatment. Weird behavior from one of the staff. We came to visit for the day but we won't be coming back to this place. An older woman sprayed Lysol after rudely telling my boyfriend he couldn't use their restroom. The food was good. Plentiful to be exact but, I can't give great ratings because of the treatment. My boyfriend bought both our meals with drinks and I needed to use the restroom. The younger women of the establishment were fantastic and allowed me to use the restroom but once my boyfriend needed to use the restroom closer to us leaving, this older woman (who seemed to be running the establishment or working) with a child came and she was extremely rude to my boyfriend telling him it wasn't a public bathroom and giving us dirty looks. It wasn't until we left that she sprayed the hallway of the restroom and not the table we sat and ate at. Disgusting and disrespectful. It wasn't what she said. It was how she said it. Hands-down horrible customer service. I placed an order on Uber eats and realize that Buckeye hibachi was right across the street from me. I canceled the order within a minute of ordering it and was charge for my meal. So I went up to Buckeye hibachi and try to get my meal since I was charge for it. I was refused. I asked why was I being refused if I was charge for the food she claimed that my order was canceled and she did not get paid. So I produce the email which stating was charge $16.25 for my meal due to because my food was prepared. The lady with the heavy accent that works the counter thought it was very amusing and told me that I could pay for another meal. I would love to leave a good review however, let me say it you're looking for quality hibachi like the cook your food in front of you high level taste, pick something else. You will get what you pay for. I could buy better crab Rangoon from the grocery store. If you've had great hibachi, you also know about the ginger garlic flavor of the rice at a good hibachi place. Yea none of that here. Just tastes like an upgraded soy sauce. It was decent once I poured all the yum yum sauce on it. You do get what you pay for like anything else. Good hibachi will cost you more. If you just need a budget meal and are not at all picky it's fine. Honestly though my Chinese place around the corner has way better food and it's cheaper. First time here. Didn't call ahead, just walked in and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Place was very clean. Just two people working but they were very courteous and very efficient. The food is probably the best I've ever had from a hibachi to go place. And the price, oh my lawdy the price for this amount of food is almost criminal.
