This buffet is by far the best Chinese place in the Lehigh valley! I've been coming to this buffet for about a year now and each time it is always great. Never a disappointment. Food is always fabulous, hot, and fresh. Lots of selection to choose from as well. The service is excellent, and the place is always kept very clean. I live about 25 minuets away from this place but still continue to come on a regular basis because it's worth the drive. I would highly recommend this place! read more

Another trap, another mainland-Chinese-owned buffet restaurant that we will never come back again. First, some waitresses don't understand English, we told them we had our own water and it took them a while to understand what it meant. Second, they liked hiding at corners swiping their phones which is not professional at all. Third, the food is garbage!! Not fresh at all!! Even my 5-year-old son said the food was gross! Felt like we were actually eating the leftover from the night before. Didn't even want to touch the sushi, afraid of getting food poisoning. This review could easily be titled: A decline into mediocrity I now live even closer than previously and took my youngest grandson there for a birthday dinner. Several years ago this was the leading Chinese Buffet in the Lehigh Valley AND Warren County, NJ. Now there are none worth visiting except one in Warren County. For the owners, business is still booming. Unfortunately, in my opinion, quality has declined to being barely palatable. To cite just a couple of examples: the "fried dumplings" used to be plump with a tasty meat filling. Now, they had (my estimate) less than a teaspoon full of a tasteless meat (?) filling and were quite greasy. This may come as a surprise, but LOTS of customers aren't interested in dishes liberally laced with peppers that burn the eaters' mouths. Dishes I never expected to be peppery, such as the stuffed clams and stuffed mushrooms were too hot for me to enjoy. That's DOUBLY important when there's no indication the food is particularly hot/spicy. I know not why, but having lived in the Lehigh Valley for nearly two years, I'm amazed at the dearth of decent restaurants. Other than a couple of diners, the restaurants tend to be of marginal quality. Again, that's my opinion, having worked for many years in the food industry and having been a restaurant critic in the past. Perhaps I was spoiled by the FAR higher quality of reasonably priced restaurant food available when I worked in Midtown Manhattan for most of two decades. Like many "buffets" this establishment has little or no wait service; just basic bussing of tables to provide utensils and clear away dirty dishes. That's not surprising yet rather insulting when the establishment now prints suggested tip percentages, up to 20-percent, on each computer printout of final customer bills. Despite all the offenses to my personal sensibilities as a customer, as I left the establishment about 6 p.m., I discovered more than 40 potential patrons waiting for seats. It was discouraging to my palate. As long as vendors can succeed while providing such marginal quality foods, there's little opportunity for competition to grow in the Lehigh Valley despite it being Pennsylvania's third largest metropolitan area. read more

I've been here many times since it opened and I can't say I've ever had a bad experience (except maybe a rude waitress once or twice). They have LOTS of seating and at times it seems pretty packed but they keep up with the food supply. I've bought the pound of crab legs once and it gave me a considerable amount but not sure if I'd do it again. The bathrooms could be a little better especially with the money they rack in. Went here for the first time. I had a late lunch, about 2:30pm on a weekday. I was surprised how many customers were there. Quickly led to a table and went to the buffet. They had a good selection and seemed to have an equal amount of Chinese and American foods. I've only been to a couple of Chinese buffets. This place impressed me in that the food was hot; other place I've been to the food is lukewarm making me think it's been sitting around for a while. My conclusion, not bad. Would have given it 5 stars not because its a 5 star restaurant but if you want buffet it's as good as it gets. Lost a star for the grill guys constant "thank you" to force a tip. I would rather eat a pack of cigarettes before I eat here again. I sat there for over a half hour with an empty cup. Which even the water was nasty tasting. The general tso was soggy. The lo me in was dry. The only thing that tasted half way decent was the hibachi because I picked everything out although the cook over cooked my piece of steak. I went to this buffet on January 21st at 930 pm and they told us the kitchen closes at 10 so not making fresh food. I pointed out its 930 so the manager said they will make fresh food if not out so great then once delivered sweet & sour chicken , wow SURPRISE, A COCKROACH jumped out on our table. We were able to kill it then showed the manager and he acted like he wasn't shocked. Said oh yeah it's a cockroach. Then we were done wouldn't eat our food and they expected us to pay for cockroach food. When I tried taking a picture of the cockroach the manager then gave my credit card back said free free .and wouldn't allow a picture. Then we stood outside smoking a cigarette for about 15 mins and about 20-30 workers came out and all lights were off they closed. Which means no one ever cleaned up. FOOD POISONING! This place had me sent to the er because I had gotten so sick off their food. They also charged us an extra fee for no reason whatsoever. We did not waste food or anything so I don't know why but I didn't argue. The people that work there are rude and stare you down as you leave to see if you are going to leave a tip. We also called to see if we could get out 35 bucks back for 2 people mind you. And she said she couldn't give us that money back, and we tried to reason with her because that was unacceptable to be sent to the er and not get my money back for the hospital trip or our food and she ended up calling the police on us because we were supposedly harassing her. What can you expect from a buffet? The food is ok, nothing to die for. Some of the plates on the buffet line are very dry. I mean it's been sitting out so can't really say anything. I always have the thin white stringy noodles (yummy). They have this shrimp, crab and mussel butter delight that's good. Their chicken wings aren't that good, nor their roast beef or steak. They did have frog legs -___- Their hibachi really hits the spot. Although i find something completely unsanitary about choosing raw ingredients myself. This place is really ok. The food is good. That's not my complaint. What I find so annoying are the waiters that hover around waiting for us to get ice cream for dessert and immediately bring the bill and keep watching and hanging around till you take out your wallet. My husband and I spend less than an hour when we go there to eat so it's not like we are eating them out of food. We can't stand the rush-rush-rush to pay. I've been here a few times since my last review & can say their food taste & quality has been improving. The "Singapore Chicken" dish they added is great. Damn. Worst buffet I've ever been to. The food was oily. The meats were overcooked. This was even worse than the Golden Corral. And the service was non existent. Granted they stuck me in a dark corner. But they never came by to pick up any of the plates, and I had to go to them to get the check. What I don't understand is why the place is packed on Friday at 7 pm. Do these people not when food is bad? Even the canned fruit was bad. Maybe it doesn't matter when it's all you can eat for under $12. I give this restaurant my lowest rating. read more

We came here about an hour ago and many of the pans are empty. Many are almost empty except for the noodles and cheaper Foods. they are not being refilled. The one advertising soft shell crab was empty when I walked in and an hour later it is still empty. I asked them to refill and they said there's not enough people here. When this place first opened, my wife and i we're excited. Neither of us are huge chines food lovers but having a place where we can sample multiple types was quite appealing. It's a bit overwhelming at first. Many different stations with so many different types of food. A Hibachi station, sushi. At that point a good variety of seafood. Including crab legs. Well over the years. The quality of food decreased as the price increased. And I get food costs has gone up. But it almost feels like they got very popular so they raised the price because they could. For the most part we were still ok. Certain favorites were worth coming in for. The Hibachi station was one. For me the crab legs. After both getting sick after one visit, we gave this place a rest. We recently went back. First thing we noticed a sign on the door. "Crab legs $6.99 a pound, $9.99 for take out" my wife pointed out. We still decided to go in. But I'm sorry the food quality slipped even more, and while they still have crab and a type of crab legs (very small) definitely not they same polished place it was when opened. And on top of that price went up. It's hard to not look elsewhere. The staff is still pretty attentive. Which is why they got an extra star out of me. The majority of the food is very tasty; unfortunately the sushi is subpar and the service is awful. Not only do the servers rush you to leave the restaurant, but they are also incredibly rude! When my family and I visited the Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet recently the waiters and waitresses badgered my daughter and her friend constantly, suspecting them of getting ready to dine and dash just because they are teenagers (such an awful stereotype, isn't it?). My server forced my husband to pay way before we were ready, and then demanded him to write the tip, all while standing over his shoulder. I don't get the negative reviews either -- the place is always packed so it can't be that bad can it. Despite it being packed, they cycle through tables very quickly so the wait time isn't bad. LOVE the buffet -- so many different selections so I get to try a little bit of everything. As for the sushi -- the most sushi I've found at any other chinese buffet is some california rolls. This place has a lot of different rolls as well as sushi. The service is excellent. They clean up your empty plates and refill your drinks quick and often. And the value for the money absolutely can't be beat. Heck, for the jumbo shimp coctail alone you'd be paying 8 bucks in another restaurant. Americanized or not, I love it! read more
