At first glance, Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet seems like any other buffet, but it quickly proves it's anything but ordinary. The biggest difference is the incredible variety. No matter what you're craving, from fresh sushi and hibachi to Chinese favorites, seafood, salads, desserts, and American classics, there's something for everyone. What impressed me even more was how well everything was stocked. It didn't matter when I walked up to the buffet; the trays were consistently full, fresh, and inviting. I never had the feeling that I was getting the leftovers or waiting for food to be replenished. Another pleasant surprise was how relaxed the atmosphere was. Even on a Friday night, which is usually one of the busiest times for restaurants, it wasn't overcrowded. There was plenty of seating, no long lines at the buffet, and I never felt rushed. It made for a much more enjoyable dining experience. If you're looking for a buffet with a wide selection, fresh food, and a comfortable atmosphere where you don't have to fight the crowds, Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet is definitely worth a visit. It was refreshing to walk into the redecorated restaurant. It is clean, bright and well-organized. The staff seems more cheerful, but maybe it is the lighting. The food seems to be better, but that may be the ambiance and lighting too. Certainly, staff seemed more motivated;the food was kept fresh and replaced at frequent intervals. The best tasting item is the frozen ice cream that you have to dip yourself which is not the most hygienic way to serve it in the age of covid and other communicable diseases. In fact the whole concept of an open air buffet is troublesome from that perspective. Posted hours say they close at 10pm. I arrived at 8:55pm and was sat, by 9:17pm I was given my check and told they're closed. I was confused as it was still 43 minutes until closing at 10pm. They began pulling food and before you know it, there are countless employees walking by us over and over as we finish our all-you-can-eat experience we paid for. The waitress began taking food off of our table and repeating we are closed. Why seat us? Why charge us? The food was DISGUSTING and is likely being served as lunch as I type this. I have been to this buffet three times. The first time it was ok just needed some seasoning. The decor was a little dusty and the carpet was old and stained. I really didn't like the chef at the hibachi station due to his demeanor and attitude when requesting the sauces smh. She was even cleaning the table and attempting to take the plates without asking if we were done. I was just there on Sunday 12/22/2025 at 6pm and the service was horrible. The carpet had black stains. The hostess sat us in an area with a family that had little children who were "being children" which is fine for them so instead of complaining about them we asked to be moved. The waitress said ok took our drink orders and disappeared with no further direction as to where we were supposed to go. We went and sat in an area across from that area the waitress in that area was rude and attempted to say we could not sit in that area but then the previous waitress appeared with our drinks and explained to her we moved due to the loud kids, so we sat down. I then ordered hibachi once again and this chef was rude and didn't seem to speak English or want to listen to customer request without making all types of faces. One customer even felt the need to apologize for asking for sauce for his food that was being prepared (SMFH!!!). My partner was looking for hot sauce, and they didn't have any on the station so he went to ask the hibachi chef could he use his and he clearly did not know English and just shooed him away. The food I got was once again flavorless and burnt smh. The waitress never came back to our table so we never got any refills just the first initial drink. When we finished we went for Desert with ice cream. We gave it to the kids bc they wanted some. We didn't get extra just gave them ours. Ok, I have to give credit where credit is due. I never intended to go back here again after my last experience, but some friends insisted I join them for lunch here, and I reluctantly went. This is a Chinese buffet. As much as I would love to elaborate I just can not. Lots of options. Sushi and optional choose your own Hibachi available. Absolutely disgusting! DO NOT GO HERE. We took a trip down to OC NJ and wanted a place that we could get a lot from. My boyfriend could absolutely not eat anything without something being uncooked, raw, or just sat too long. Everything he got chicken wise was raw and uncooked. The broccoli you could barley chew because it basically felt like rubber. All shrimp and craw dads were completely dirty and you could tell that they didn't bother to wash them before selling. I had to force myself to eat because of how hungry I was. The butterfly shrimp I could barley bite apart they were that dry and hard and sat for too long. Everything was also messy. Food all over the tables and the floors. Water everywhere, everything all together didn't look clean. My spoon was wrapped dirty, our table was severely sticky. I was very upset about everything. We had to pay beforehand which was weird but I think I can understand why they do. They know their food is shitty, so they make you pay before hand so you can't try to walk out or not pay. Half of their food didn't make any sense. The salad table didn't have really anything to put together to make a salad besides lettuce, a few toppings, and a bunch of sauces. The fruit was all brown and mushy, the cake was dry and didn't have much flavor, the ice cream was Hershey's and came in a Styrofoam container and every time I went to grab a scoop pieces of styrofoam would break off into my ice cream. All rice and noodles were over cooked, dry, and didn't have any flavor. I usually always tip, as I am a server myself. I always say if you can afford to eat out you can afford to tip. But not this time. I didn't want to cause any problems while we were there. So I wrote on my slip that food was not good, and that we would not be back. The server eventually came back over to grab plates and saw it, looked at it and said "not good?" I said no, food was raw, uncooked, dirty, dry, and unpleasant. This place raise question to sanitation, I didn't see the guy clean the utensils between mixing meats. The sushi was sitting out wayyy to long to the point the seawood was falling apart. Two years ago, I went to the Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet during their strict Covid protocol/regulatory period. Despite these restrictions, my experience was beyond exceptional and I standby my previous highly rewarding review. Today, on this glorious historic day, I was able to reunite with my once again best friend forever to venture through the wondrous experience the Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet provides. With a large variety of options, and beyond buffet standard tasting food, I must say that this buffet remains to be my most favorite of buffets. I am very disappointed in this establishment today on 12/27/2024. While taking out my members from our Medical Adult Day Services Lunch Outing in Delran NJ ( MIND YOU, WE COME HERE EVERY MONTH WITH A GROUP OF 12 0R MORE) today it was only 4, after being given the check two waitresses approached my table and said very forcefully( we did not include the tip, with one of them holding out her hand. A great tasty buffet experience. The lovely wife and I don't normally travel to this part of NJ. We were starving for lunch and just by happenstance saw the sign and turned into this plaza. We almost turned right back out again. These folks are located in a beat up plaza that has seen better days. Take our word for it and stay. You'll have a nice time. Although not much from the outside this is a very pretty buffet restaurant. There is a large waiting area where you can watch chefs making sushi. At lunch today this place was packed. We were seated at one of the last tables. While we were eating a wait for tables developed. For a buffet this is a good thing. Busy means fresh food! Our waitress was Tracy and she was excellent. Plates were cleared and drinks were filled faster than you can say Moo-Goo-Gai-Pan. She always had a smile. Now for the food. We live in the Philly western suburbs and we compare every Chinese Buffet to the King Buffet in Plymouth Meeting. They have a 4+ star Yelp rating. These folks would rank just behind them. Every typical Chinese dish and Japanese sushi is available. In addition the grill has an amazing variety of meets. The wife and I agree that the steaks were excellent. Our lunch for two was $15.80. I've been to the Hibachi Grill of Cinnaminson nearly ten times in the last 3 years. As far as buffets go, it's one of my favorites. Now when you make the conscious decision to go to any establishment that prides itself on eating as much food as you can stuff inside yourself, you're throwing most of your usual standards out the window as you walk in the door. Now when you first walk in, you'll notice it is a huge area with a few different seating sections. I believe there is a private dining area, as I have never been there. Once you get your table (never had to wait for over 5 mins) you'll order drinks and go on your way. I have never had a problem with the cleanliness and I can't speak for the behind the scenes preparation as well. The selection of what you can eat is endless. When choosing a place to go, my main selling point is that they have everything you could ask for. There's a hibachi section, an American section (fries and pizza), a Chinese section, a Japanese section, a fruit section, a seafood section, a dessert section, and even a whole ham just sitting there. My favorite part is the sushi though. It's not high quality, but it's good. If you want to be frugal, after eating 2 rolls (12 pieces), you're already getting your moneys worth. I load up on the sushi in the beginning and at the end when I am nearing my disgusting limit. If you're in the wrong place and actually want quality over quantity, try Yokohama! The only issue is an issue with the some of the people that come here. The parents think they're at Chuckie Cheese and let their kids run around unsupervised. Now for all this food, you and a buddy (or a girlfriend that won't judge you on porking out) can get dinner for about $25 or lunch for less than $20. They have coupons for $6.25 lunches and $9.25 dinners with the purchase of soft drinks. We went into this place after a quick google search looking for food to eat. Well as soon as my friend started eating her food there was a hair stuck on the chicken she was eating. She didn't speak up, she just moved it to the side. and as soon as she proceeded to eat her food, another hairpl ok was baked into her mac and cheese after presenting this to the man. He stated by it being a buffet, hair is going to fly everywhere. So we should expect to see hair in the food choices. My friends and I have never been so grossed out in our lives. I came here with a 5 people family group for a dinner on 2/19/2018. The buffet is your typical Chinese style buffet. There are a lot of options ranging from your various American-Chinese style options (general tsos, brocolli and beef, etc), to your simple sushi, salads, and fruits. You can also make hibachi/mongolian style dishes where you pick out the ingredients and they cook it in front of you.
