I've been to Flaming Grill many times with no complaints. The ingredients for the individually grilled hibachi are always full and freshly cut. If anything is missing (rarely), you can request and they'll bring it right out for you. The items on the salad bar are freshly made and always up to par. If they're missing your favorite sushi, they'll make it for you right then and there. The hot food is constantly filled and replaced. The servers make sure you're happy and they clear your used plates constantly so your table isn't overcrowded. If you are looking for a wide variety of low quality food, then this place is the right place for you! They serve sushi, a wide variety of American Chinese food, pizza, bbq ribs, etc. There is also a hibachi grill in the back where you pick your ingredients and they cook it in front of you. For $11 for lunch on weekdays and $12 for lunch on Saturdays, I can see this being a steal. But a lot of the food was tasteless and just didn't sit right which is to be expected. Some of the better options that I tried were the steamed flounder, string beans, and chicken and broccoli. I did not like the salmon, dumplings, coconut shrimp. Great value and best hibachi buffet I've been to. We go here pretty regularly when we want some good food and don't feel like a full service restaurant. The people are nice and we really enjoy it. Granted it's a buffet so everything isn't always going to be perfect but there are always plenty of selections that I enjoy on a regular basis. They have a hibachi section and you put all the stuff you want on the plate and give it to the chef at the grill and they cook it for you, which I thought was pretty cool. Your typical run of the mill Americanized Chinese buffet. If you like those, this is probably a 4-5 star rating but it's not my personal preference. First, it's CHEAP. For lunch on Saturday it was $12, which you can easily spend more at a fast food chain. The variety is decent, everything from sushi to pizza to your usual selection of various fried rices/noodles, egg rolls, general tso's chicken, and so on. There's also a hibachi/mongolian bbq station which had a big line but moved quickly. I gave it a shot and it was extremely oily but so are most of the options here. Stopped by with the fam yesterday on a long road trip. Flaming Grill is purely a value play. It's one of those MSG-laden Chinese buffets that is crazy cheap and has a bit of everything for everyone: sushi made mostly with imitation crab or slightly off-color tuna, hibachi for people who like to pick their own stuff even though it'll all taste the same after it's been put on the grill with too much sauce, the tiniest bit of Chinese-Chinese food for the purists, fried American-Chinese food for people who aren't purists, and pizza for everyone else. Add in a fruit bar featuring lots of canned fruits (and a couple non-canned ones!) and a lot of mass produced desserts and off-brand ice cream and you've got everything you need. I wouldn't choose to come here normally, but if you're hungry, this is definitely the best bang for your buck. The food isn't bad at all, some dishes were decently tasty, but it's nothing to be excited about. Service was pretty fast with picking up the plates, but they never refilled our water (and I'm always thirsty so this was especially upsetting). Like many other reviews - it did exactly what it needed to do, however, nothing special. However, for the lunch price (under $8 during the week), you really can't go wrong. They have a lot of options and even have sushi and Mongolian grill available. I did see them refill the food often, which is refreshing to see. I was able to catch the lunch price by 20 min and when 3:30pm dinner time came around, they put out signs on specific dishes that are only available for the dinner price. Smart. In the back is a pick your I grief isn't hibachi grill line. All this is included in the price. The food is meh- not bad. Not great. It's hot plate buffet food. Loaded with sauce and salt. Off cuts of chicken, wilted vegetables and basic offering. Possibly a plus- they have a decent amount of seafood. My family and I don't eat seafood but we get charged the same regardless and that is the part of the problem. Value. For me it's not there. There are cheaper buffets in the area that offer similar food for less. I don't doubt the seafood adds to the cost but some buffet give you a cheaper option. This one doesn't. The service. It's hit or miss. Drink refills some days are fast and plentiful. Other times you have to seek out a refill. Same for the buffet service. Some visits they are constantly filling trays and others it's bare and you wait 5 minutes for more. It's not always correlated with how busy it is. You could do worse and you could do better than this place. i do like their pepper chicken. It I find myself more often ordering take out from a local place. Better result for less $. read more

I gave this place five stars because of the staff. I mean the food is great but the staff actually make this place. I had a celebration after graduation and they accommodated my party of forty with smiles and jokes. I am not sure if he is the manager but he helped me come up with a plan to collect money from those who came and even separated the bill to the point where he knew who had drinks, children and those who just came to celebrate. Large and varied buffet including sushi and hibachi. friendly wait staff. we come here at least once a month and it seems the food varies and is not the same each time. they have various sushi rolls, a salad bar station, 6 hot food stations, hibachi bar, fruit table and dessert section (cakes and cookies) and ice cream cups, bars and pops. the hot sections seem to have a kiddie section with chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, pizza and French fries among other things. they don't usually have crab legs but they do have whole crabs. they have beef, chicken, pork, fish, various soups ( I like the miso and wanton) and veggies. there is also a station with rice and noodles. you def get you moneys worth. something for everyone. our only complaint is the lack of flavor with the desserts. but with all the other food who has room for dessert? they also have coupons out there but you must buy a drink in order to use it. we just get water so we never use them.
