Was in the area with MO folks who opted against the AR staple, Mexican food, and we took a shot at the HGB. Winning!! The sushi was comparable to a much larger city in quality, flavor and presentation. Super impressed with some of the delightful combinations, that I would have been happy just at the sushi bar. Tons of my faves, steamed mussels, coconut shrimp, pepper chicken, octopus, mushroom H&S soup, and for a foodie like me my choice of shrimp 10 ways, awesome. The place clean, the waitresses nice, poite and an empty plate never in sight. Definitely go hungry, and adventurously. My new go to for the Rogers/Bentonville area travels. Soooo you know that feeling when u eat certain Chinese food and especially all you can eat...but that yucky full ...this is where to get that feeling haha. Went there today for lunch and saw a roach run across the bench we were sitting at. Smashed it with a napkin the waitress saw it and brang it to the owner lady. She then came back and said she was comping us 1 of 2 meals i said i think you should comp both. She then came back and said ok no charge. We went to leave and a short Asian man said you no pay. I said no he said y u not pay i said there was a roach on the table. Keep in mind this was already handled by the ladies. Which i was ok with yuk but ok he started to yell and get mouthy with us asking why u ate so many plates and no pay. 1st off i didn't get anymore plates only had 2 to begin with I wasn't gonna eat anymore after this. After a medical procedure, the first thing I wanted to eat was the food from my favorite restaurant. I've been coming here forever. However, this time I felt very uncomfortable and like I wasn't welcome. None of the regular servers who have always been amazing were there. The woman at the front seemed irritated to give us change so we could tip out server (who also seemed like she didn't want us there). Another great Chinese buffet in Rogers, Hibachi Grill is located right in front of the Wal-mart in the building that used to operate as Ryan's. Loads of parking. This is a massive buffet with 7 steam tables and 2 cold tables, plus a large display of desserts. They have the usual items you would expect: chicken and broccoli, beef and broccoli, coconut shrimp, teriyaki chicken, fried dumplings, peel and eat shrimp, even oysters on the half shell in ice. I didn't see much that looked like "authentic" Chinese, but hey, who cares? Speaking of not authentic, there are a few items on offer that will satisfy the people who don't like "chinese food" such as pot roast, sliced ham, pizza and french fries. The "hibachi" grill would be better described as "teppanyaki". It's not a show like at Benihana. You load up a plate with the raw materials you want - diced chicken, diced beef, shrimp, pieces of krab with onions, mushrooms, peppers, and the grill chef cooks it in front of you. He'll add some spices after checking with you - teriyaki, hot sauce, etc. And when it's done, he scoops it onto a fresh plate for you to take back to the table. A sushi chef is also in operation. The stuff he makes is good and it's fresh. Assorted krab and shrimp rolls with mixed vegetables and a few nigiri with salmon or tamago. The cold table has the usual stuff you would expect - salads and dressings. There is a second cold table of dessert items and another table in the back that is just baked goods, next to a bunker of individual serve ice cream cups. They do have reasonable sneeze guards that seem to prevent people from putting their bugs directly into the food. Be careful to wash your hands after using the serving utensils if you're planning on touching your food or your face. It's a great way to pass along assorted bugs. Service was good, with my water refilled often. Drinks are included with the price. No wi-fi sigal in the restaurant, but my AT&T phone had five solid bars. A good place, I will return! read more

Stopped by on a weekend afternoon. The restaurant was maybe half full. The buffet tables were piled high with all kinds of delights, perhaps for a larger crowd. Being a frequent visitor to Chinese buffets while living in Houston, I was anxious to try Hibachi Grill. Sadly I was greatly disappointed. The staples; rice, noodles, soups were bland, the rice was undercooked, soups watery, and the lo mein was very oily. The pork ribs were tough, the sushi didn't look fresh - I avoided it. The fried items were the most tasty, but many had a slight oil after taste. The fried fish was very good as were the fried dumplings. The fried and fresh shrimp were very good but the fried shrimp were not piping hot. There were a lot of items that were untouched, whole fish, mounds of mussels and even some of the jello. The blanched seasoned broccoli was good, better than the pale broccoli with beef. The desserts looked very good but there were dozens of kids swarming over them, picking at them. There was ice cream, but you had to scoop it out of the container into a bowl or into a cone. Again, kids were over the scoops and containers- very germy. Overall 2 stars. read more

What can I say? I want this place to be good. Come during lunch and it'll be better. If it's slow at dinner stay away. I know this place isn't known for sushi, but they seriously had what looked like out of the can tuna on a roll. Even the general tso's chicken that I believed impervious to screw ups missed the mark. In this case I happened to be down the street from this restaurant and decided to give it a try. I had a good cross sampling of the food offered and I had no complaints with any of it. About a week ago, I returned to Hibachi Grill expecting the same mediocrity and, I have never been so disgusted! Only a few dishes were fresh and decent, but TWO of the dishes (BBQ Ribs and Fried chicken wings) were NOT safe to eat. They were turning already! Turning as in beginning to have the sweet and sour rotting taste to it!! I spat it out right away, but unfortunately was too tired to even say anything to them. I just wanted out right away. I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER return to Hibachi Grill AGAIN! And PLEASE, I highly suggest you all NOT go there! I wouldn't call this place a Chinese buffet because they have a huge variety of foods. They have an awesome hibachi grill that I think the veggies, meat, etc are much fresher than Genghis Grill. And the lunch price is cheap $7.99 weekdays. It's somewhere I feel like I can get a healthy lunch when doing errands. But people pile up their plates and definitely leave full as well. Patrons have the choice of already prepared items, and/or of choosing items to be grilled. One of my favorites is the coconut shrimp, which is fried shrimp with a sweet coconut sauce. I don't understand the poor service comments, as we've always had our drinks refilled promptly. The servers we've experienced are friendly and courteous. Overall, a great place to dine. read more
