    Soup dumplings
    Laks P.

I stopped by around 4pm on a weekday and the restaurant was mostly empty inside, though it seemed like the kitchen was busy with takeout orders. The food was just okay. We tried the soup dumplings, which didn't have as much broth as expected, and a chicken and shrimp dish that was supposed to be spicy but came out tasting pretty sweet instead. When we mentioned it to our server, they offered chili oil, which was nice, but I would've preferred to experience the dish as it was intended. The interior is simple and it works fine as a spot for a quick bite. That said, I was specifically craving solid Szechuan flavors, and there are definitely better options nearby if that's what you're looking for. But worth a try if you're in the area or as takeout food too!

    Inside

To start, 5 stars to me means the food and/or service had WOW factor, and I could come back regularly and WILL bring many people. 4 stars is just super solid food, a place good to know to come get something to eat. 3 stars is mid, take it or leave it. 2 stars is below average, don't need to go back and won't recommend. 1 stars was BAD. So while place wasn't bad, it was below average. They need a serious redesign lol it's just not cute in here. Black and wood chairs and tables, filthy pink velvet chairs, and a velvet green bench. Why? And then you have plan white walls, ugly random patterned walls, a black wall, and a random orange flower. It's all just... Random and clashes. The egg drop soup was mid, the little fried wontons were SUPER stale. The pork egg rolls were actually tasty. And a great price. The Mongolian beef lunch special was alright, no great not bad. Juice and flavorful enough. But again the little crisps throughout the dish were stale. The soup dumplings were the biggest let down of all. Literally like a dry meatball inside of a soupless dumpling. We didn't even finish them. If you're looking for good Chinese, go elsewhere.

Small locally run family places are my favorite for authentic cuisine, and this is no exception. Wok Provisions is my favoriteChinese food in the area, it provides exactly the right flavors and spices at a reasonable price and portion. Inside is no frills, but I prefer it that way. We had the soup dumplings which were a great version of that dish. Hand pulled noodles were also delicious. But the standout was the Mongolian beef, which I don't even normally order! It was flavorful, saucy, and tender. I will definitely be back for that one! The restaurant was not very crowded when we came but they did receive a fair share of takeout orders. Might have to do that next time as well!

Chicken soup dumplings !!! Delicious !!! We ate them in the parking lot and just watched movies. They're very juicy. The service was nice, the lady is sweet and gives you free chili oil. Place is small !

    Chicken Lo Mein

I don't normally write reviews but this place deserves one. My boyfriend and I ordered the cucumber salad, chicken soup dumplings, pork pan fried dumplings, sichuan chilli dumplings and the chicken lo mein and they were all absolutely delicious. Couldn't even pick my favorite if I wanted to, I will be back! Service was great too, the staff was very kind and attentive and we had a very enjoyable Wednesday night dinner.

My kids were craving for soup dumpling and my niece was raving about this place so we came to give it a try... and I mush say the soup dumplings was worth the drive! Food was Amazing. Everything is made to order so it's takes a while for your food to come out. However, service was a little slow but I totally understand it. They definitely need to hire a waitress. There was one person taking orders, brining out food and I'm sure he was also helping in the kitchen, kudos to him for all his hard work!! Definitely give this place a try if you are in the area!

We ordered to go and the food was ready pretty quick. I love that it was nice and hot. The food tasted decent. The Crab Rangoon was really good. They have sitting in available. Good customer service too.

My friend and I went here randomly and man, we found a SPOT! I was so pleased with everything we had here. We ordered the Cucumber Salad (DELICIOUS), The Chili Wontons (BEST THING WE HAD, SO DELICIOUS), and the Soup Dumplings (ALSO VERY DELICIOUS)! I haven't stopped thinking about the Chili Wontons since we left. They were so flavorful! I wish they offered them with other meats, but the pork was really good (which is the only meat it comes in). I didn't ask if they could replace the meat, but maybe it's something they could do! Our server was really nice and it was super quiet in here on a Sunday afternoon. If you want somewhere to just quietly eat or maybe not be somewhere so big, this "hole in the wall" type restaurant is it. I'll be back to get more of the Chili Wontons lol!

Why do I keep forgetting about this place? The food is really good. Gwinnett County has lots of great Korean, Japanese, Thai, and Vietnamese, but great Chinese is a bit harder to find. See our Crispy Beef, Orange Chicken, Spicy Pork in Garlic Sauce, and Pan-Fried Baos with their pretty lace tops. Everything was so tasty! It wasn't too spicy but enough to make our noses run by the time we left. This is located in the Publix Shopping Center near the liquor store. Not many people seem to eat inside so I think they do more to go orders.

Met my Lunch Boyfriend John at another spot we had not been to. Great menu. Great location. Great service. Diet Coke. Great value. Lunch specials Monday thru Friday. Cannot wait to get takeout here. 17mins from home.

Want to start off by saying that we had such great service here- our waitress answered all our questions and was very attentive. Ambiance is good as well. Lots of parking available. We got a couple of things: - Pan fried pork buns: The bun was nice & fluffy with a crispy bottom and juicy meat filling. The sauce it came with was great too- perfectly sweet & vinegary. - Dry beef mixed noodles: The beef was super tender, and the noodles were flavorful. This is meant to be a cold dish, but my mom was a bit hesitant about that and they were more than willing to serve it hot! (I definitely recommend having it cold though haha) - Szechuan Numbed Pepper Broth: Got this with fatty beef. I know some similar places let you put the fillings into the broth yourself, but ours came already assembled (which is what I personally prefer). We loved how mala this broth is, probs my favorite dish we got. Also loved the texture and lightness of the rice noodles. Lots of great fillings like quail egg, spam, wood ear mushroom, cabbage. - Korean Kimchi Broth: Got this with pork chop (though actually it was pork ribs). This is a great choice if you want a tomato-y broth that has a hint of spice and acidity. Another instance of the great service because the pork ribs were kind of hard to eat with our utensils and when we asked if they could possibly cut it up, they did not hesitate to do so. Also, the pork was (again) so tender! Would, no doubt, come back for another meal here. 10/10 would recommend!

Their heaters must've stopped working because it was uncomfortably cold inside. We asked to be seated to one of the tables at the far side of the room (entry/exit door is in the middle). We ordered noodle soups and dumplings. The broth flavors were good maybe not the best I've had. Overall solid broth flavor and ingredients too. Soup Dumplings were stuck to the paper and couple of them broke while picking up. We ordered one steamed and one pan fried but both orders were steamed. We sent back the wrong order; no apology for extra wait or anything like that. Overall service is somewhat typical casual Asian restaurants where you have to wave them down if you want something, which is not very good if they're expecting 20% tips. If you're looking for a causal soup place, this is a good to OK place. I probably wouldn't recommend it as a top 5 option for Asian soups considering the many other high quality options in Atlanta.

I remember thinking how stingy they were with the toppings on the Tangsuyuk, but this time, it was much better. They added more carrots as part of the toppings! The place looked really clean and better managed this time as well. I do feel that this place would feel a bit more festive if they added some overhead music. I do not feel as though downtown Duluth truly captures the amazing food scene of the city, but again, an old friend did like it enough to tell me about it. Inside was pretty spacious. High ceilings and bright. You have to go up front and order, and they'll give you a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. Pretty standard so far. It's not too loud, even with the music playing in the background, so not bad for hanging out with friends after the food is done, though we didn't. We were all pretty disappointed with our food. It wasn't bad, thankfully, it was just meh. We could've literally drove 5 minutes away for better, so we left as soon as we finished. The good thing is you get to choose what protein you want with your dish, which is nice. However, the chicken katsu here is thin. Also, the K-Fried chicken doesn't really mesh with the pasta. It's like a skewer on the side of your main dish. You can eat them separately and be happy enough. I was ok with the bulgogi, but I would've expected better from a Korean establishment. I haven't tried every single protein option, but I won't lie, tofu in pasta isn't the most appealing to me. For the main dishes, it was pretty bland, especially the omurice. You need the egg and the protein for flavor. The Schezwan pasta wasn't even spicy. At least the carbonara was creamy as it should be.
