This place was NOT HONEST with me. I came in on Friday to find a new tire because I had a flat. They told me that they could get one for $120 but it wouldn't be in until Tuesday. My only other choice was a tire that cost $320. I decided to wait and came back on Tuesday. I had an appointment at 1 pm. When I got there, they tried to quote me at $320. I said that the agreed upon price was $120. They acted confused and said they'd have to order it, but could have it in if I'd wait. I waited for two and a half hours only for them to tell me they "couldn't find one" and my only choice was the more expensive one. Of course, I just left and went somewhere else. Not only did they waste my entire afternoon sitting around, but they wasted my whole weekend without a car. All so they could try to milk a few extra bucks from me. Went in for an alignment, and this idiot told me that I needed struts, tie rods, basically a whole front end re-do in my Subaru, plus an oil change so he couldn't touch my alignment til I had all these services done. Quoted me $2300! Told the moron that I'd just had an oil change the day before. Got home and told the hubby what these fools said and he called up there to tell them they were full of sh*t and got hung up on! Best thing that could happen to this place besides a bomb hitting it, is for NOBODY to patronize this location so they'll go out of business. Go to the one at Reno & MacArthur. They had no problem aligning my car without trying to gouge me for services I didn't need. The NW Expressway location is run by a bunch of thieves and unethical employees. Shame on them. read more

I tried to give 0 stars but it made me select at least one, but this place isn't even that good. A few years ago I needed new brake pads. The rotors also needed replaced but I didn't find that out until I drove off and noticed the clunking when it braked. I took it back and they told me they didn't have time to fix the rotors, that's why they didn't mention it. Strike #1. Since my tire warranty is through Hibdons I've been coming for oil change so I could get tire rotations for free. Come to this week, I had a flat when I walked out to leave. Put the spare on, had a screw in it. They told me the tire was irreparable and my warranty was voided because I drove with a screw and I'd be paying for a brand new tire. Took it to the next Hibdons a quarter of a mile down the road and they patched it within 30 minutes. Two strikes is all it takes for me. I had to special order a tire for my Maserati Ghibli. I called Hibdon and the clerk took all my info, advised me it would take up to 5 days to get the tire and set an appointment for me 7 days later. I arrived at my appointment to find out the clerk had not ordered my tire. They had to order the tire and I waited another 5 days for the tire to come in. By the time I got to my second appointment my tire was unable to hold air for long so I was without my car for a week. After my tire was mounted, I sat waiting for my warranty company to pay the invoice. Thirty minutes later, I finally called the company and asked why the delay. I was told that the same clerk who failed to order my tire also failed to put the VIN on the paperwork. Wait, wait, wait. Attention to detail is sorely lacking here. Ugh. UGHHH. Of course. Middle of my MUCH needed, sort-of post-covid (at least post-covid vaccine...) vacation. My tire is nearly flat. Why? I don't know. I don't drive over beds of nails, I try to avoid the largest of potholes, and really, she hasn't left the house much this year, much like me. But alas, my car only tells me "Hey something's wrong with the tire pressure, but I can't tell you which one, or really anything else...good luck!" So I drag myself and my husband to Hibdon, shortly after discovering that they were indeed open, today, on a Sunday (not true at all locations, though), and my Monday appointment didn't have to wait. Dropped my car off, let them know I didn't need to wait, and before my sweet husband even picked me up, my car was rolling into the garage. Surprisingly, only with a slight limp, she's a champ, the old gal is. Get a phone call two-ish hours later, I needed two new tires, other two are in perfect shape (thanks, other Hibdon's), out the door for less than expected. They had the tires replaced after that in some sort of record time, and I picked it up shortly after. All employees were masked, and they require anyone entering the store to wear one too. (Dang right, wear your masks kids.) Now I'm back to enjoying the last few days of my vacation, on the open road, sure I'll make it there (mostly) in one piece, with four shiny tires. I had replaced the tie rods on my 30 year old suv as I'm in the process of rebuilding the front end and just replacing worn out stuff. So I took it to Hibdon as it's the closest alignment place to my house. I called later in the day to check in on it, they had said they can't do it due to everything being worn out and the parts I had just installed being bad. I explained I just had it checked out by metric motors in Edmond and none of the things they mentioned were on the list of parts that needed attention. I then asked them to just get it close and told them I don't need their warranty. Then they promptly told me they wouldn't work on it unless those my wheel bearings were replaced at 400 dollars a side and my steering dampener was replaced at 300 dollars. I just laughed and said I'll come get it as I literally just took it to respected mechanic in the area and had a comprehensive check up done. I then proceeded to take it to fast lap on memorial and they had it aligned and out in less than 30 minutes and everything was back in spec. They said nothing about parts being bad, just did the job. All that said I will never take anything to hibdon. just money hungry shady people there. read more

My husband and I have used this particular Hibdon's for nearly 15 years. We've always had a good experience. However yesterday I went in to get a flat repaired. I was told two hour wait for an oil change and a leak in the tire. After waiting two hours, my car had still not been taken back into the shop. I was told that three customers had come in with an appointment. I was never told this at the beginning or I would not have waited. There was also a 10 minute wait at the counter for the lady to come back up and help me and another customer get our keys. There was no apology given for my wait. I was very disappointed in the customer service I received, I went down the street and went to Pep Boys and was in and out in an hour. read more

Edit : after asking for an update on my car at 5:50 he told me that it would be done shortly and I told him it would have been nice if there would have been better communication and his response was 'ma'am we are fixing this at our cost' and I feel like that was incredibly inappropriate and terrible customer service considering it was my time, my entire day wasted and their fault that my struts weren't done correctly the first time. I dropped my car off for an alignment at noon today expecting it would be ready within an hour and a half to two hours. Two hours had gone by and I hadn't heard anything from them so I called to get an update and was informed that they tried calling (did not call the phone number I told them to call this afternoon when dropping off) meaning they hadn't started any work on my car per needing my approval. They replaced my struts a few months prior and apparently a bolt had popped off and needed to be replaced at their cost and the part wouldn't be in until 3:30. So due to unclear communication on their end and still sitting here in the waiting room at 5:40 whenever I was told after finding out about my struts that my car would be ready at 5. I had a full day of appointments and now will be charged for a late cancellation because I had no knowledge that I would be without my vehicle all day. Not to mention their employees seem to not care at all. I will definitely be looking to take my car needs elsewhere after today. read more

Only cause I can't give 0 stars. I stopped dealing with these people after some big company bought them. So first a little back story as to why I stopped.... I went in to get new tires and I bought a new tire out of state at Sam's cause of a flat. A month later I buy 4 new tire at Hibdon's and asked them to take the new Goodyear tire and put it on the spare. Well I didn't check cause up till now I trusted them with my van. Well a few years go by and I'm in Texas and I have a flat. So I lower the spare and it's not the Goodyear it's the rotten tire that I knew was bad. So freaking pissed. So I decided then never to do business with these people ever again. So my daughter needed an alignment, her sweet boyfriend helped her choose a place. Everything was in their hands. This morning I wake up and find out the alignment will be done at Hibdon's. Uuuuugggggghhhhhh!!!! Ok not my money so whatever. Well I pick her up go run some errands and they call to tell her the tie rod is bad. (I'm not sure if I spelled or even know what that is but) and explain that it's going to cost $100 for parts and another $200 for labor. My friend's son work at O'Reillys so I give him a call to find out what a tie rod cost. Get ready cause this is going to piss you off. There's two! Together they cost less than $20!!!! So one of hers is bad and they will replace it with a $10 part and charge her $100. Such BULLSNOT!!! I don't mind companies making a profit but really!!! The boyfriend is a mechanic and I haven't talked to him about labor cost but I'm sure that it doesn't take that long to replace. These people had a great reputation until the big brother bought them. Don't believe what they tell you. Called and told needeto replace 2 tires. Asked if they had them- told yes and would take 45 min to get them installed. About 20 minutes or so later called and told it was ready. I questioned this but was told again it was ready. Got dropped off ably to then be told oops - short one tire and not ready. If I could have zero stars it would be better. EVERY time I've taken one of my vehicles to this place, if it's not for an oil change, they find some excuse to not do what I need done. Then first incident was when I took my 97 accord in for an alignment they told me I needed a bunch of things replaced. For example: tie rods, ball joints and such. So I took their advice and replaced EVERYTHING that could be replaced, basically gave it all new suspension in the front end down to performance brake pads and rotors with new hub and bearings. I took it back up there and was told they still would not do the alignment because it was not their work. I ended up taking it else where and had it done for a cheaper price and have had no issues. Recently decided to give them ANOTHER chance on my 05 suburban for an alignment/oil change and surprise surprise told me they couldn't do it because it needed an outer tie rod on the driver side. I then asked why I didn't receive a phone call and I would have had them do it. They told me their phones were down and couldn't call. When I looked at the work order my phone number was typed right next to my name. I'm DONE dealing with this place. read more

Went in for tires and brakes. As per normal it had to happen during Christmas time! I went into it thinking with was going to be one price naturally, I needed more than pads but also rotors. Before any additional charges were added, they called and discussed it with me. When I went to pick up the car, I had hit $1385.00. Like I said previously it was Christmas time. At the time to pay, a young lady by the name of Jennifer told me about some payment options I hadn't been aware of. They offered me a credit card with 0% financing for 6 months. Finally, I feel like I catch a break. I don't like credit cards, but if used wisely in situations like this, they'll help you out tremendously. I have always done my tire business at Hibdon's, but I really didn't think of them as a repair shop until I stumbled upon their website. The photo front and center was of an ASE Master Tech Mechanic! My son went through all the arduous training and testing to get to be a Master Tech also, but moved out of state.
