Been here a few times with friends. Never been let down. I personally like the strawberry and the blue mist. Dudes usually come around and fix the coals without you asking for them so you can keep smokin' the good hits off the hookah. (+) Happy hour 6-8, always. I originally went to starbuzz but the people there are fake and you cant really talk to them they are full of themselves and dont talk at hidden the service is great if you make a request it will happen if something gets messed up its taken care of the coal service on saturdays is a little slower...(because im kinda new and its hard to position the coals perfectly) they are fast with requests even thoe sometimes they need reminders when its busy....overall its a friendly place and its like a family.... i love it there....and i must say.....im really glad i have my current position as your coal guy....if you see me say hi and let me help you have an amazing hookah experience with me and my coworkers who will help you as soon as you turn on your led light to signal us...or you can wave or come up to us....we are all friendly people who love to hangout and do stuff that you like to do smoke hookah:) we do requests and we can surprise you with amazing blends that we have created....so come on give us a try...im sure you will be pleased....and for 12$ a hookah for 3 people....our prices cant be beaten and dont worry we turned our music down....and we have a wide variety of music....sometimes we even do country dances (found that out when i asked if they play it) love this place...couldnt ask for better customers and coworkers....if you are kind to us....we will take care of you read more

A cool place to hang around. You' may run into someone you know. They play top 40s.and randomly put on movies. Hookahs dam pretty good...great happy hr w half off hookahs too . If you're looking for a hookah bar to just sit back and chill this is for you. Personally I like to smoke hookah where there is a more upbeat environment. The staff there is just fine. The hookah is not the best. I always seem to get burnt hookah from them. The flavors aren't the best either. But they do have a good selection of food and drinks! They have movies night on Mondays I guess. Me and my friend went and we had no idea it was movie night and we realized it too late and then we couldn't even get a refund it was annoying. This place is awesome from their service to the environment they create there is something for everyone here. They do movie nights twice a week (Sunday/Tuesday), they keep up with the UFC fights playing all the big ones and usually draw a pretty lively crowd those nights. The music here ranges from Top 40 to traditional Arabic music. Hidden cafe is in a great location and is easy to get to and they always make their customers feel like family from the minute you walk in the door. I have been to all the local hookah bars and every lounge seems to have a distinct vibe they create that caters towards a specific crowd which is one of the reasons I LOVE hidden cafe because they mix it up and keep the environment fresh. When I used to work out in Savi Ranch my co workers and I would hit up Hidden often. I like the place it's busy but not too crazy and loud. The brothers Tarek and Aboud who own it switch off locations from time to time and are great guys. It's a typical lounge with the usual menu like hummus, chicken sandwich etc. The manager and employees there are pretty cool and always nice. I like that they have a patio, sometimes Tarek would even bring his dog and hang out in the patio which was cool. The only reason why i took 2 stars off is because their hookahs aren't clean. You can see a ring on their bases from not cleaning them and they probably don't rinse out the stems either. Some of the hoses mouth tips are cracked too. If i ask them to give me a new clean hookah and hose i end up being happy and liking the hookah. If they just kept up with cleaning without me having to ask i'd give them a 5 star read more

Well, here's the thing- it's an Orange County hookah lounge. The owner is almost never there, and when he is, he's sitting down, smoking and talking to his friends. It's primarily run by 20-somethings that half-the-time look like they hate their lives, and the other half the time want to just smoke and talk to their friends as well. The hookah itself really isn't that bad. They use Starbuzz shisha primarily and have a huge selection of flavors and mixes to choose from, with knowledgeable staff (yes, the same staff that seems miserable working there- but if you get past that, they really know what they're doing). The prices aren't bad, and they have a variety of music playlists. Big ups for having movie/UFC nights. All in all, it's not my favorite place to go, but by all means, I won't stop going here. I can't really go anywhere else and stay out til 4am without getting in some serious trouble. read more

I used to like this place when the actual owner ran it, but now it's terrible. You have to be friends o the workers to get service, so when you do ask for coal, expect to be ignored. Also, the seating is very uncomfortable, they've got these little tiny tables and you're kinda squeezed in with everyone else so when you ash the coal, its all over you in a minute. Also, when you leave, smell your clothes...they'll smell like coal. Dont go this place!!! I will never go there again. The staff is so rude and not friendly. They will tell that u have to order hookah or pay a cover charge which is nonsense. We tried to convince them that we were here to order drinks and appetizers and only one hookah but they still said no. In one word this place is disgusting. I'm not going to rant about how bad it is, but I will highlight that their biggest flaw is customer service and customer appreciation. None of the employees pay attention to detail and have no clue what customer service is. One of the employees yelled at a customer for asking a question, and to top it all off the place smells disgusting. After sitting on the couch you feel like you need to shower immediately just to wipe all the grime off. The bathroom has dirty toilet paper all over the floor which is partially not their fault, but then again shows the attention to detail the place has. This hookah bar is only alive because of its lack of competition. If any other lounge opened up within a two mile radius this place would be abandoned. With all that being said I have to highlight the pros and cons very simply. The worst part of the entire experience was how poor the customer service was here; employees are rude and incompetent. This place is not a place to go. The customer service and appreciation first is just horrible. None of the workers know how to talk to a customer. The hookahs are even worse, they look horrible and beat and we even got dirt on our mouths. I used to love this place, but now I officially detest it. I always thought if i saw a person vaping inside a hookah lounge they would have to be either plain stupid or either just straight up weird. Apparently I'm said person. I had to switch over to my e cig (which was producing more smoke than the hookah), because the coal was the size of pebbles. The coal guy skipped us when he served everyone in our vicinity (every table near us), so i asked another employer for more coal, 20 minutes later and nothing. I know it was busy and he probably just forgot, but seriously if im gonna vape i might as well do it at home. It was the second time we asked that we finally got our fuckin coal. If that wasn't enough, they overcharged us at the counter. After that ordeal, I know I'm never coming back. read more

I have been to a few lounges before and I have to say this is my favorite by far. It's always really chill inside and everyone is always friendly. The owner is really welcoming as well! It is a great a place to come to on the weekends or even during the week to get some home work done. They do movie nights some times and the homemade hummus is to die for! They come by with coals often and they have a lot of options with flavors and fruit heads. This is honestly the best hookah bar I've ever been to. They play pretty good music and it's not too loud at all, you can still have conversations with your friends. I have never been asked to leave an establishment while walking in the front door before. I was meeting some friends and had a sandwich at the pizza place next door. Took my left over with me and as I walked in I was told to leave and that they do not allow outside food. I wasn't even greeted with a hello or anything. Just a "get out". I will not be recommending this place to anyone. If anyone asks me to go I'll find another place we can enjoy ourselves at. Best sheesha place in OC. You know a place is legit when you see the same faces consistently week after week and the owner (Abood - correct spelling hopefully!) know's everyone by their name.. He's extremely warm and personable and overall there is a very homely chill vibe. Whether you're going to study, chill or watch a game, it's a great spot! The Hookah is top quality (Pink Mint is the ONE!!) and it lasts a good while. It's also the best priced hookah you'll find around with great happy hour refills. The guys (and girl) who work there are all lovely, friendly and helpful. If you have an issue, they fix it. I discovered this place last year and I can't stop reccomending it to others. Also, you need to try their fresh fruit juice (with ginger), chicken tenders and fries. AMAZING. Again, the flavor and quality is phenomenal. honestly ive been to every hookah bar in the OC and i can say hidden is one of the best! great food, friendly staff and great tasting hookahs, real smooth and very clean and friendly place to just smoke and chill.. no drama i dont live close to this hidden but it is well worth the drive never had a bad tasting hookah or service there and this will b my 6th week of going there.. i was a regular at a different hookah bar for 2 yrs and i wish those 2 yrs could have been enjoyed at hidden cafe.. great place! if u havent been u definently should go! read more

I have been going to Hidden for probably 8 or 9 years now. The reason I am giving Hidden Café 5 stars is because they have the best ownership for a small business. The owners have always been so amazing to us and we have developed a really good friendship over the years. They always come talk to us when we are there and make us feel like we are part of the family. Just the other night my mom and I were there and I wanted a quesadilla but they were out of cheese. The owner went to the market to get cheese and then made us a quesadilla on the house. It is that kind of service that makes me happy to go to Hidden over any other hookah lounge out there. The people that work there are always really nice and respectful. They joke with us and even remember the hookah flavors that are my favorite. Sure, there are probably other hookah lounges out there that are bigger, have better food, or better hookahs...maybe, but I wouldn't care because to me this place is like home. I would recommend this place to anyone I know and I hope they continue to be a huge success. read more
