I was really happy to have found this salon via instagram but honestly my hair didnt turn out the way I wanted it to be :/ The lady who did my hair asked if I wanted the same blonde color an toner as I was going in for touch up babylights as before an i stated yes. I came for a full head babylights I was there for 7.5 really not the time I was expecting to stay at, once she was done the hair didnt even come out bright an blonde like she stated :/ It looks like a level 7/8 not 9/10 which what I wanted. For all the time I was there was not really worth pay neither, plus to say when I called before making an appt the receptionist told me the price was 180-200 w/ Everything included - tone an blowdry, but thats no what the stylist charged me for it was way more which is more disappointing cus my hair didnt even come out how she stated it.. read more

I'm so blessed i have found my new spot, somewhere we're I know my hair will be treated with love. After having a bad experience on another place and depressed because I thought my hair had no solution, Mari come to the rescue. A friend recommend me to her but I wasn't sure if I wanted to trust someone else again. As you can see my hair was burn and orange and so uneven. I scheduled an appointment with Marie for noon today and waited 30 minutes for her then she proceeded to take another client ahead of me without saying a word to me! I have been coming to Mary for years, she takes great care of my hair. When I first came to her was when my hair was very choppy from a previous service somewhere else. She cut my hair short and from there we started growing it out for years until it was healthy and long again. I decided to go lighter on my hair as I have very dark hair naturally, Mary as an expert gave me a recommendation and decided to go with it. If you have dark color hair like mine it might take more that once to achieve the desired color. I have long hair but now I decided to try extension to have more volume and more length. I fall in love every time I look in the mirror! Brenda is such an amazing hairstylist. She took the time to explain all the steps before, during and after my hair transformation. Came in July and was presented a bill for 145.00 (added tip to Mary, my stylist, which was fine). I was told at this visit checks were not accepted or credit card, so I had to pay via Zelle, which she helped me setup to do. Exact same work done by Mary in November, but now presented a bill for $230 before tip - surprise. I asked Mary why I was watching other customers while I was there paying via check and credit card when I was told I had to pay by Zelle ? Good job on hair, but did not appreciate experiencing these inconsistencies in prices or payment method. I will not be going back. Update: Apparently, Brenda S. decided to retaliate my review with I was being blessed "with a discount in July" because I was having hardships - this is not true, I had just gotten back from a month's vacation and heading out on another one and needed my hair done. I've been hesitating to post this review, because as self employed /business owner I know how negative reviews can/might affect our business, but then I thought as much as a positive review can help our business grow, a negative review can also help us grow and fix whatever issue is wrong. I went in about the beginning of March, I booked an appointment with Brenda, because her Instagram pictures were so lovely and I thought ok she knows how to do her job. I sent her pictures of my hair and what I wanted she gave me a price. I go over and it took almost 4 hours to only get bland streaks on my hair.. got in at 10am was out by 2:50 she did warn me it would take several hours but I thought my hair was going to come out like her insta posts. First of all I had semi virgin hair I told her I died it dark brown about 3 years ago,she started doing my hair and I asked her if she's going to dye my base she said no shes going to keep my original color, and the pic I showed her had lighter base color... so there I thought what?! Ok I guess by her Instagram she knows what she's doing, she kept checking my hair and she kept saying wow it grabbed on perfect so in my head I'm like "yesss" after my. Hair was washed and blow dried it I already wasn't happy they were super thin highlights nothing of what I had asked for. She styled then as I was leaving she said next time u come we can add more and it'll look "fuller" I thought that's how I initially wanted it, she could have told me that from the start. And give me some advice since it's been a while since I've dyed my hair. Anyways I go home and a friend said "the color looks orange" I go home take pics send to her and she said "that's weird" she said to go in next week etc mind you I live 20min away so it sucked I had to be driving back and forth, she also said to wash with purple shampoo which I did and seemed it got worse. I go back she fixed it by adding a different toner. Ok whatever looks better than before. I leave and literally after 2 showers my hair color went back to a copper color. It's unfortunate to have to pay so much money to get something you did not want. Brenda is super nice and gentle and sweet. But she ddnt have an answer on to why my hair ddnt grab on to the color I wanted. Now I have to pay AGAIN for someone to fix it and dye back to dark brown because I lost hope on how I wanted my hair to look like. read more

My 16 year old daughter saved her money to get her hair done for the first time professionally. Her appointment was set for 10:00am with Brenda then the morning of she changed it to 12:00pm and still arrived late. Unfortunately, when my daughter got home I could tell she was not happy. I shared with the stylist Brenda that my daughter's hair did not come out as she said it would. Her words before the process "We can DEFINITELY achieve that color it would be $225.00 and that includes the haircut". After the first blow dry my daughter shared that her hair was orange. She then added a toner to cover the orange. After she finished the second blow dry it still wasn't what she said she could achieve. Even Brenda admitted that it wasn't what my daughter wanted in the first place so she offered a discount of $50.00 but changed her price to $240.00. So really the discount was only $35.00 from the first price she originally said it would be. She also told my daughter that if she wanted what she asked her for in the first place it would be an additional $130.00 for a second session. I felt and still feel that this was her mistake and she should have never promised a 16 year old results that she could not achieve. Brenda's response after I shared my daughter was not happy with her hair and she should accomplish what she said she could without a ridiculous additional cost of $130.00 was that I don't understand the process of color. I might not be a professional hairstylist but I do know good customer service. Brenda also said that due to me being unsatisfied with my 16 year old daughters hair she will no longer offer her services to my family. Now, let it be known Brenda colored my oldest daughter's hair and it looks great. She gave the results my eldest wanted and that is why we returned to Brenda and gave her more business. In the end she replied by making two unprofessional comments to me. "I don't work for free" which is not what I was asking her to do. I was asking for her to give my daughter the results she said she could achieve at price she said it would cost the first time. I felt she then was being sarcastic as she knew I was not happy and ended her statement with "Continue to have a great Sunday". I would never want my family and friends to give her any business. Shame on her to do this to my 16 year old daughter. My daughter never got any apology from her even though Brenda knew her hair was not what she asked for. Instead of offering to finish her hair she made excuses and even made a long post on social media as to why my daughter's hair did not come out the way she asked. Own up to your mistake, fix it, learn from it as I have learned from what Brenda did to my daughter. Very unprofessional! read more
