Horrible experience with whatever new manager they have. I used to go when i was a kid and decided to go again for my birthday we made special reservations and she was nice enough to give us an extra hour to paint but failed to show up answer texts and calls till about a week later. She told us we could have two to go party kits and a huge discount on prices for the inconvenience. All in text messages this was sent and actually delivered these kits herself but then decided to up charge us the normal price on arrival. We should her her own text message and she changed her mind. We were told to call when finished within the next week. She had not replied to us to near to a month and took them and we received them another two weeks later on top of that. Forgetful. Unreliable. Debbie hosted my son's welcome to spring break party. There were ten 9-year olds at one table. She was so patient with all of them the entire time. While looking for a great anniversary present after 27 years of marriage (sculpture by the way), I saw her sign offering a take home experience. Deb made it super easy to come in and pick out A couple of pieces to take home and paint Along with an ice cube tray filled with paint and the brushes to make it happen. My wife and I spent a wonderful Sunday afternoon drinking wine and painting our pieces to celebrate our anniversary. I simply brought them back in the next time she was open, and picked them up three days later and have enjoyed the pieces ever since. Love the experience! read more

This place rocks! The owner is amazing. She is so helpful, patient, and goes out of her way to ensure both a quality product and a positive experience through and through. During covid, she will meet you at her shop and send you home with everything you need. When you are done, you return her supplies and your artwork to her. She glazes it, and boom!! This place has been around for as long as I can remember and hasn't changed a bit! The owner is super attentive but will give you space too if needed or wanted. I got my piece back within the week, and there's lots of pieces to choose from (and prices are much cheaper than the big chains)! Lots of parking in the center... truly a hidden gem! I love this place, so much fun!!! It is the place that you can spend hours to have fun with your kids and friends. The staffs are super nice and friendly. They check up on you frequently and make sure you have enough color or change the water for you. They are pretty good in communicate with kids too. The only thing that holds me back from giving them 5 stars is the price for the ceramics. It's kinda pricey. read more

So the options for pieces were good the prices are good and the place is always empty so that's a plus. However I went with my daughter for us to spend time together... the lady working there sat at the table right next to us and painted and EVERYTHING we said to each other she commented on and was ruining our mother daughter time. She then took my daughters art out of her hands two separate times and painted on her piece! My daughter is 12 years old! When we returned to get our items they had written my daughters name on the bottom and also smudged the paint and added color and details to it!! All of this done without them letting us know. I'm blown away and won't be returning. Back to color me mine. read more

I came here with a friend who has kids (yup, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!), and was prepared to really dislike this place, but it turns out I had a great time. I've passed this place countless times and was really thrown by the name of the store. The store was really quiet until a party of young girls showed up, but even then the noise level was pretty good. The employees are friendly and very patient. There is a super- large variety of items that you could choose to paint, and a variety of colors to paint your choice of item. I like that they don't seem to have the "nose in the air" attitude of some of the chain "paint your ceramic" stores. Friendly, easily accessible, inexpensive, great with kids (and adults for that matter). The store is clean and well organized. Highly recommend! read more

Was greeted immediately, helped us pick out our ceramics and was patient with the paint choosing process. They have a nice set up and even have a small play area for the little ones. I helped my daughter finish her unicorn first then painted my cup last so the play area worked out wonderfully as she played while I finished painting. May be a good idea when coming with lil ones to just help them paint their item since you have to paint at least 3 coats on the ceramic piece, then maybe come back on an adult outing to paint yours. Either way it can be done, just a thought. Super friendly owner and awesome staff! I have recommended to friends and family, we plan on coming back to add to our collection! read more

I came to this place last night with a group. I had a blast. I use to do this stuff as green ware as a kid with my mom.. Working with bisque has always had a different look. I can't wait to see how it turns out?! I am giving 4 out of 5 points, because I didn't feel like I had the full effect. I'd like to go again and see how the repoire is. They offer 2 hours of shop time for $8 which is firing and use of paints. I am concerned that 2 hours isn't enough time? I can see myself getting hooked :/. I need a whole Set of dishes! Came on a Tuesday afternoon with not a customer in sight, so it felt nice being the only party there with the place to ourselves. You walk in, pick what item you would like to work on. Next you set in on the table, then go to the back and choose your paints and work at the station. The shelves were stocked nicely with plenty of items. I liked the variety of dishware they had to offer. One of the girls was great with helping pick out colors and giving suggestion on what would look good, based on your piece. There were plenty of brushes. Upon finishing, they said they would have our work fired in the kiln and ready for pick up in a few days. Overall, I was please with the results. read more

I attended a birthday party at Hidden Talents yesterday, and there were several things that I thought were great. The two ladies who worked there were super nice and cooperative. I asked if I could scooch my sick kids at the end of the table, and they happily helped me. There was a ton of paint containers and brushes on the table. They let me go a tiny bit over time. They always replied to questions nicely and even did all the clean up even though I offered to help my friend several times. I also liked the variety of pottery and would love to go back and paint more items. read more

took our 4 kids here on a sunday afternoon to paint some pottery figures. plaza and store were very nice with plenty of parking and nice store front. the person working was super nice, explained everything well, and they are priced a little lower than the color-me-mine chain. could not finish all 3 coats of paint in time before they closed at 5pm on sunday, but allowed us to return next day to finish the painting. we paid approx $65 for 3 small pottery figures and all my kids had a good time. these are the memories that families and based on. thank you hidden talents studio for providing such a good service. our family will be back. read more

This is my favorite pottery painting place to come. They have a wide variety selection of pottery and paints. The employees are exceptionally nice and very helpful. They go out of their way to make your experience enjoyable. They are great with kids to. My granddaughter had a awesome time and loved the gal helping us. My kids and my sister-in-law from New Jersey came here two summers ago. They were in the middle of renovations, but they had fun anyway. We were told the pieces would be ready in a week, in time for her to take them back to New Jersey with her but they weren't...which was fine but then they lost my oldest daughter's piece. I called several times afterward and they kept saying they were still looking for it and then finally said it was lost. They never issued a refund or a credit...and being a single parent widow I didn't have the time to pursue it any longer. We are planning on coming again this weekend with my sister and her kids as well as mine. I called to see if I could get a credit or something and the girl on the phone said "we have a 30 day guarantee" I didn't insist on a refund, as I understand we are well beyond the 30 days and ultimately it's my fault for not pursuing it. HOWEVER, I told her "I want you to know that this was your error..YOU lost the piece" She was quite and I said goodbye. I just want to say that even seeming like you're attempting to rectify a wrong goes a long way with a company. We were bummed it was lost, because you can't remake something again, but I also understand things like this happen. It would have been nice for someone there to have attempted to correct their error at some point. read more

Great experience! Cute and clean studio, customer service was great. My 2 girls (ages 6 and 8) loved it. I decided to make a doggie bowl instead of just waiting for my girls, and all 3 items came out so cute (and so practical). When we picked up our items, my daughters begged to make more art!
