    Egg rolls

The food was really good and generous portions. Sadly they premake their curry bases so they cannot make any curries vegetarian. However their stir fry and noofle bases are all vegetarian with no fish sauce or oyster sauce. We got pad thai, drunken noodles, tom yum fried rice, egg rolls (5pcs) and chinese broccoli which came with a fried egg on top. The portions were generous and even though 5 of us shared the food we had so much leftover to take home. The service was not very attentive. Nobody came to check in on us during the meal even though there were only 2 other people in the restaurant so they were not busy. The ambience is very confusing in here. There are some things that look like they are out of an antique store like a glass cabinet with a bunch of old horse figurines.. and then a bunch of plants in the front only, and then Christmas wreath and garland (in July) and the music was very old style. Overall the food was fine but i might do takeout next time. They also have a takeout special where you get 3 free thai iced teas with an order of 3 entrees.

We tried so many dishes! Recommended: Green curry Salted fish fried rice Drunken noodle Tom yum spaghetti Not recommend: Spicy dean noodle soup Tom yum soup Just ok: Basil eggplant Came here one night mainly because they allowed dogs in the patio area. Was not a huge fan of the service as it was slow and he didn't seem to like conversing with us. I wanted to try spicy dean noodle soup since it was the name of the restaurant but was greatly disappointed at the bland taste and nothing special about it. The tom gym soup was not the greatest as well because it didn't have that zest I am used to. Aside from that, majority of the dishes were decent. Plenty of parking but I don't know if I would come back.

This place was so cute, yummy, and the servers were very sweet! My friend and I went here for dinner on a Friday night at around 7PM and we got seated right away. I love how intimate the space is and choice of decor. It feels very homey and comforting. We ordered a pad thai and crab fried rice to share. Both dishes were delicious! The eggs in the fried rice were cooked nicely, not over cooked. I really appreciated that they used real crab and put so much in. The pad thai was yummy, tangy, and had a good bouncy texture. I definitely would come back!!

Food good. Service good. Ambiance good. Great place for Thai food around Rowland Heights. Came here with a big group and they accommodated very friendly. We got a lot of dishes and would I come back for the tom yum spaghetti. Beware, dishes are spicy!

Really unique and delicious lunch spot I happened to find through yelp! All of the dishes were super flavorful and service was nice :) I loved how juicy and flavorful the chicken satay was, and was really satisfied by the amount of crab they added inside of the crab fried rice! I'm excited to try the other items on their menu in the future ~

Herbal Thai BBQ Chicken- Wow a little dry but jam packed with flavor! Delicious!

Food- Excellent and different from your typical Thai place which really separates them from the rest of the Thai spots in So Cal. Service- Our server was excellent. Extremy attentive, kind , and helpful with ordering. Ambiance- Decoration was absolutely stunning. See the pictures if you dont believe me. It has s great vibe and the staff bring it all together.

On a Sunday evening around 7pm it wasn't busy at all! Our server was very kind and attentive. I got the salted fish fried rice. It was a huge portion and a very flavorful and good dish! It could have done with a few more veggies but they were all good! It just lacked on the actual fish part. There wasn't much at all. The parts that were there were incredibly small. But it did add heavily salted bites to the parts it was in. I also got to try some of the pad see ew with tofu and drunken noodles. The drunken noodles with medium spice did have a kick to it but it was tasty as well. The pad see ew was sweeter than I like but not bad. The tofu with that dish was standard.

I probably won't do the lunch special again just because I don't particularly like this salad I didn't really hear her on the phone I just heard that it was a lunch special so I agreed. But I'm wondering if it would've been cheaper without being a lunch combo I thought it was cheaper with bingo lunch combo now I'm thinking it might've not been. Regardless though the food still taste good, I'm happy with it I do wish that chips wouldn't have been in the plate because they came out soggy by the time I got home, but again everything still taste good. The place itself is decorated very cute I wouldn't mind coming and sitting here to eat I keep saying I will but I have yet to do so I normally just get my food to go. There's so much decor so much to look at. They're located in a big parking lot so that's always nice and convenient .

Walking into Dean by Dean Noodles feels like stepping into a hidden garden oasis--lush greenery, zen decor, and an instantly calming vibe that makes you forget you're right off the main road in Rowland Heights. Juicy Pork Dumplings: Honestly... these might just rival (or dare I say, beat) Din Tai Fung's soup dumplings. The broth inside was rich and flavorful, and the dumpling skin had the perfect delicate texture. Shrimp Salad: Light, refreshing, and packed with flavor. The herbs and (very!) spicy citrus dressing brought everything to life. Cashew Nut and Pineapple Spaghetti Noodles: This one was unexpected and SO good--savory, sweet, a little nutty, and totally addictive. Mango Sticky Rice: The perfect ending. The mango was fresh and sweet, and the sticky rice had a creamy, coconutty goodness that was just right--not too heavy, not too sweet. Service was warm and attentive, and everything came out beautifully plated and timed just right. You can really tell there's thought behind every dish. 100% worth the trip.

Good comfort Thai food with great value! It's our first time here so we didn't know what to expect. We ordered Thai Fried Rice, Drunken Noodle with Crispy Pork, Chinese Broccoli with Crispy Pork, and Pork Katsu Curry. The food was served promptly along with hot sauces on the side. We were surprised to see that the portions were actually pretty big. Definitely worth it! The Thai Fried Rice is okay, pretty standard. The Drunken Noodle was good although it's my first time eating it with slices of iceberg lettuce mixed together. The Chinese Broccoli with Crispy Pork was flavorful and I enjoyed the crispy pork pieces since they weren't too chewy nor crispy that they're hard to eat. And they gave quite a lot of crispy pork pieces! My kid liked the Pork Katsu Curry that came with a huge amount of rice, salad and curry. The yellow curry was a bit too watery in my opinion but my curry-loving kid liked it. Inside the restaurant, there were a variety of decor, frames, plants, etc. The staffs were friendly and attentive. They came to refill our drinks without us asking for it. I ordered 1 Thai Iced Tea and the waiter asked me if I'd like to order more since Thai Iced Tea is only $1.50 per person. And yes, we ended up ordering more of it.

Been eating here since they were located in 168 Market and they are still delicious. Service is always friendly and the menu is fairly large, so everyone can find something they want to eat. And, my friend enjoyed the lush foliage decorations.

You have the raw beef carpaccio, the salad with sauce on top adds flavor to it, and finally it has the Lays chips on top to give it some crunchy texture. Japanese Wagyu Sukiyaki - My favorite thing from this evening. They do such a great show of preparing this for you and you get a dipping plate with a raw egg to get all the flavors in this. The sukiyaki sauce in the bowl was super flavorful and strong. Wagyu Short Rib - This definitely tastes better using the spices they give for your meal. It's more on the lean side so it was very easy to eat iWagyu Prime Short Rib - This has a little bit more fat and on the chewier side when ate plain. But with the dipping spices, it definitely brings out the saltiness the meat needs Wagyu Bibimbap - The staff will mix this in front of you and make sure all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed so you can get a little bit of seaweed, wagyu, sauce, and rice in every bite. Of course by the time we got to this, we were way too full so I only got a few bites in before I had to call it and to-go the rest. Mentaiko Buttered Scallops - This was amazingly creamy. However I did make a mistake by adding this to the chef's recommendation. The Chef's Recommendation is curated where everything compliments each other. The mentaiko buttered scallops had their usual strong salty taste and super creamy due to the butter, but it was too strong when added to the Chef's Recommendation that I could barely eat it during the meal. So if you want it more cooked, you probably want to specify it beforehand. The meat was well done and the veggies tasted fresh. The price was very reasonable as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this place for lunch. Would definitely go again! Parking is easy. Food was great! Staff was helpful and nice!

I am a huge fan of Asian fusion cuisine, so I was pretty excited to try SAMK after reading the…read morereviews online and their menu. I came in on a Sunday afternoon around 3pm, and my first impressions walking in was the interior is clean and pleasantly warm. I ordered the creamy mala seafood pasta since it was the most unique dish on the menu. Service was good but nothing special. Creamy mala seafood pasta, 2.5/5: The pasta was inoffensively average. There were some bites that were creamy and some bites that weren't. I honestly thought it could use more cream or butter to add some more richness. The pasta itself was al dente. There wasn't much flavor overall with the dish, and the mala was very mild (for reference, I can handle medium spice levels at other restaurants). The seafood quality was okay for the price. Overall, I thought the ambiance was really nice, but the pasta I ordered was average at best. Maybe I will give this place a 2nd chance and try something else.

Kamon Sushi - Rowland Heights…read more Kamon Sushi is one of the few Japanese restaurants that has managed to stand the test of time in the Rowland Heights area. I've watched the restaurant go through management changes over the years, but they've done a solid job maintaining a consistent mid-level quality while continuing to attract local customers. One of the biggest draws is still their business lunch pricing. The menu is extensive, covering sushi, bento boxes, kitchen dishes, and more recently, yakitori. My personal preference is their bento boxes. The two-item and three-item combinations, typically ranging from the mid-teens to low twenties, remain a dependable choice. Inflation has made them less of a bargain than they once were, but compared to similar Japanese restaurants in the area, they are still reasonably priced. Over time, Kamon has evolved into a more modern Japanese restaurant with a broad menu. The upside is variety. The downside is that I don't think they've found one category that truly stands above the rest yet. The yakitori is alright. The tempura is alright. The sushi is decent. The bento boxes are probably the strongest part of the menu. What consistently stands out is the service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which keeps me coming back. Kamon may not be the place for the best sushi, the best yakitori, or the best tempura in town. But if you're looking for a reliable neighborhood Japanese restaurant with a wide selection, fair pricing, and great service, it continues to be a solid choice.

Overall, the food was excellent, even my Asian parents, who can be pretty critical when it comes to Chinese food, gave most dishes high marks. The crispy noodles had great texture, the West Lake beef soup was comforting and flavorful, and the eggplant portions were generous. The service was what I'd describe as classic Chinese restaurant service. The waitress came across as a little rushed and occasionally seemed slightly annoyed, but she was still attentive and accommodated everything we asked for without any issues. Our food came out at a reasonable pace, and we never felt forgotten or had to chase anyone down. The atmosphere had its own unique charm. The restaurant was playing early-2000s hip-hop while a Chinese gangster drama played on the TV, which made for an unexpectedly entertaining backdrop. The restroom was also clean, which is always appreciated. My only real criticism is the sweet and sour pork. The batter itself was crispy and well executed, but too many of the pieces were mostly breading wrapped around bone with very little meat. It was the one dish I probably wouldn't order again. Even with that one miss, everything else was strong enough that we left very satisfied.

The beef chow mein was good-- while it was lacking some wok hay, the noodles were fried to perfection. Flavor was lacking as well. The beef brisket was tender and the flavor was there but it was slightly tangy/sour-- on the border of doing bad? I've never had this dish taste sour. The typhoon ribs were filled with fried garlic and the ribs came out hot and crispy! I recommend this dish if you like salt and pepper shrimp/chicken-- this is a fun alrernative Service was better than the avg Chinese restaurant. We were 1/3 parties so I'm not sure if it changes when it gets busy. There's plenty of parking.
