The food was really good and generous portions. Sadly they premake their curry bases so they cannot make any curries vegetarian. However their stir fry and noofle bases are all vegetarian with no fish sauce or oyster sauce. We got pad thai, drunken noodles, tom yum fried rice, egg rolls (5pcs) and chinese broccoli which came with a fried egg on top. The portions were generous and even though 5 of us shared the food we had so much leftover to take home. The service was not very attentive. Nobody came to check in on us during the meal even though there were only 2 other people in the restaurant so they were not busy. The ambience is very confusing in here. There are some things that look like they are out of an antique store like a glass cabinet with a bunch of old horse figurines.. and then a bunch of plants in the front only, and then Christmas wreath and garland (in July) and the music was very old style. Overall the food was fine but i might do takeout next time. They also have a takeout special where you get 3 free thai iced teas with an order of 3 entrees.

This place was so cute, yummy, and the servers were very sweet! My friend and I went here for dinner on a Friday night at around 7PM and we got seated right away. I love how intimate the space is and choice of decor. It feels very homey and comforting. We ordered a pad thai and crab fried rice to share. Both dishes were delicious! The eggs in the fried rice were cooked nicely, not over cooked. I really appreciated that they used real crab and put so much in. The pad thai was yummy, tangy, and had a good bouncy texture. I definitely would come back!!

We tried so many dishes! Recommended: Green curry Salted fish fried rice Drunken noodle Tom yum spaghetti Not recommend: Spicy dean noodle soup Tom yum soup Just ok: Basil eggplant Came here one night mainly because they allowed dogs in the patio area. Was not a huge fan of the service as it was slow and he didn't seem to like conversing with us. I wanted to try spicy dean noodle soup since it was the name of the restaurant but was greatly disappointed at the bland taste and nothing special about it. The tom gym soup was not the greatest as well because it didn't have that zest I am used to. Aside from that, majority of the dishes were decent. Plenty of parking but I don't know if I would come back.

Food good. Service good. Ambiance good. Great place for Thai food around Rowland Heights. Came here with a big group and they accommodated very friendly. We got a lot of dishes and would I come back for the tom yum spaghetti. Beware, dishes are spicy!

Herbal Thai BBQ Chicken- Wow a little dry but jam packed with flavor! Delicious!

Food- Excellent and different from your typical Thai place which really separates them from the rest of the Thai spots in So Cal. Service- Our server was excellent. Extremy attentive, kind , and helpful with ordering. Ambiance- Decoration was absolutely stunning. See the pictures if you dont believe me. It has s great vibe and the staff bring it all together.

On a Sunday evening around 7pm it wasn't busy at all! Our server was very kind and attentive. I got the salted fish fried rice. It was a huge portion and a very flavorful and good dish! It could have done with a few more veggies but they were all good! It just lacked on the actual fish part. There wasn't much at all. The parts that were there were incredibly small. But it did add heavily salted bites to the parts it was in. I also got to try some of the pad see ew with tofu and drunken noodles. The drunken noodles with medium spice did have a kick to it but it was tasty as well. The pad see ew was sweeter than I like but not bad. The tofu with that dish was standard.

    Supreme pad Thai shrimp plate

I never thought I'd have anything negative to say as this is one of my favorite restaurants, food wise but just in today ordered a supreme Pat Thai dish what I received today excellent heat and taste wise but unfortunately, finding only two shrimp in what is to be the main component. This left me dissatisfied. I love coming here. The owner is always happy. Food is always good. Never been disappointed till today. Only two shrimp. food taste awesome just so disappointing when you're anticipating eating shrimp

I probably won't do the lunch special again just because I don't particularly like this salad I didn't really hear her on the phone I just heard that it was a lunch special so I agreed. But I'm wondering if it would've been cheaper without being a lunch combo I thought it was cheaper with bingo lunch combo now I'm thinking it might've not been. Regardless though the food still taste good, I'm happy with it I do wish that chips wouldn't have been in the plate because they came out soggy by the time I got home, but again everything still taste good. The place itself is decorated very cute I wouldn't mind coming and sitting here to eat I keep saying I will but I have yet to do so I normally just get my food to go. There's so much decor so much to look at. They're located in a big parking lot so that's always nice and convenient .

Really unique and delicious lunch spot I happened to find through yelp! All of the dishes were super flavorful and service was nice :) I loved how juicy and flavorful the chicken satay was, and was really satisfied by the amount of crab they added inside of the crab fried rice! I'm excited to try the other items on their menu in the future ~

Walking into Dean by Dean Noodles feels like stepping into a hidden garden oasis--lush greenery, zen decor, and an instantly calming vibe that makes you forget you're right off the main road in Rowland Heights. Juicy Pork Dumplings: Honestly... these might just rival (or dare I say, beat) Din Tai Fung's soup dumplings. The broth inside was rich and flavorful, and the dumpling skin had the perfect delicate texture. Shrimp Salad: Light, refreshing, and packed with flavor. The herbs and (very!) spicy citrus dressing brought everything to life. Cashew Nut and Pineapple Spaghetti Noodles: This one was unexpected and SO good--savory, sweet, a little nutty, and totally addictive. Mango Sticky Rice: The perfect ending. The mango was fresh and sweet, and the sticky rice had a creamy, coconutty goodness that was just right--not too heavy, not too sweet. Service was warm and attentive, and everything came out beautifully plated and timed just right. You can really tell there's thought behind every dish. 100% worth the trip.

We got southern curry noodles, flaming drunken noodle at extra spicy, and Che Po. The curry noodles were good we got the flat noodles. Though my wife likes it more savory I like it more coconutty. Authentic Thai and Chinese fusion taste. The star of the show was the flaming drunken noodle. It's probably one of the best drunken noodles we've had. Has this place gone through new ownership?…read more I used to frequent Tantawan Thai Cuisine at least once a week -- it was my go to Thai spots because it's nearby. I would always order the Thai boat noodles, Pad Kee Mao, or Pad Thai, and they were consistently flavorful, bold, and satisfying every time. These three dishes were on constant rotation. Lately though, something feels very different. The flavor and overall taste of the dishes have noticeably changed. The Thai boat noodles no longer have that rich, deep broth, the pad kee mao isn't as smoky and punchy, and the pad thai tastes flatter and not as saucey than it used to. The food just doesn't hit the same. On top of that, the employees were clearly new. Service has been noticeably slower, and they repeatedly ask the same questions multiple times when I phone in my order. I've always mentioned that I don't want liver in my Thai boat noodles and that I like my pad thai spicy -- and before, that was never an issue or a back and forth conversation. Now, I'm asked the same clarifying questions over and over, and I'm even told that they "don't make pad thai spicy," which was never the case before. It's honestly disappointing because this used to be such a reliable weekly staple for me. I'm not sure if there's been a change in ownership, staff, or recipes, but the consistency in both food and service just isn't there anymore. I really hope they can bring back the quality and experience that made me a regular in the first place.
