    Curry fried chicken cutlet
    Jeremy S.

My friends and I decided on this restaurant for dinner on a Friday night, and it was almost full inside. They continue to make an outstanding Japanese curry and katsu, but the wait for our food unfortunately took almost an hour. My order was a curry fried chicken cutlet ($15.99) with level-three spice. It comes with a salad in which you can add house sesame sauce. The level-three curry tasted noticeably spicier than the previous bowls I've had in the past. The portion size on its own is filling, but there is the option to buy an additional bowl of rice. On one hand, it's understandable that a small mom-and-pop restaurant would take a long time to handle a large volume of dine-in orders. However, the wait made us especially hungry as we already knew how good the food tasted. Several minutes after we sat down, one of the owners put a sign on the self-service kiosk that noted a wait of 45 minutes for dine-in orders. Although we ordered separately at the same time, my friends' orders arrived about ten minutes after I got my food. I recommend visiting outside of peak hours. For example, it's very relaxing to eat here right when it opens.

My wife and I enjoyed the food. The location is compact with a few tables to dine in. There's a cashier to take your orders or two different kiosks to place them yourself. We decided to dine in after placing orders on the kiosk. We ordered a Roasted Oolong Tea and each ordered our own Katsu. One of them Fried Chicken Cutlet and Fried Fish Fillet. To note you can choose your spice levels 1-3. The Roasted Oolong tea was great since we didn't want any sweet drinks. Our Curry dishes came were served after 10 or so minutes. These dishes smelled delicious and were abundantly portioned. For the cost of these curry dishes, I believe it's purely justified. The curry had good consistency and flavors. The Katsu was crispy and flavorful. We felt happy enjoying this meal in the restaurant. We had plenty leftover to take home. Overall, I highly recommend 37.2 Degree Cafe & Curry. Great tasting Japanese curry! ( ^_^)b

Light and crispy croquettes, perfectly seasoned curry, and the whipped cream on the strawberry croffle was simply divine ~

I had a great experience! This reminded me of being back in Tokyo! I ordered the chicken curry but there were so many other options! Still, I was very happy with my choice. The dish is servee beautifully with the curry on the side so you can enjoy as much or as little of the sauce as you want! The rice was flavorful and fluffy and the chicken was delicious! It was super easy to order at the kiosk and our food was ready fairly quickly. It was super fresh when it was served. The portions are generous. If you are hungry and eat a lot, this dish will be enough! If you are a light eater like me, you will definitely have leftovers! I would love to come back here again. It's super far from where I live but might be worth a visit. This is the best chicken curry I have had in CA.

I came here at night with my friend and we loved it. They have plenty of parking because it's in a large plaza. They have 2 booths and about 4 tables. There is a restroom so no worries about that. Once we got there we ordered from the kiosk. We got the curry fish filet, fried tofu, takoyaki, and I got the mango matcha. All DELICIOUS! I don't usually get fish with my curry but this was a pleasant surprise. The mango matcha was the star of the show for me. I love that there was actual chunks of mango in it. It looked like there was only 1 man working the front/serving. He was very nice and made sure we were enjoying the food. Overall would definitely be back!

Found this place through Yelp, and it didn't disappoint. I was looking for a casual place to have lunch and catch up with my brother. I was craving some Japanese curry, so this place caught my eye. We were greeted upon entering. We ordered at the kiosk (although you can also order with the cashier too). For seating, we just chose whichever table we wanted after we ordered. My brother and I both ordered their curry fried chicken cutlet without salad dressing, and I ordered their brulee matcha milk slush. For the curry, you can order it with no spice to a high level spice (forgot the number/name). You also have a choice of seaweed seasoning on the rice (or not). Our meals came out at the same time and was hot. The chicken was juicy with a perfectly crispy, thin breading. The crispiness was a good pairing with the warm, spicy curry. The curry was flavorful, but was mostly sauce (ie. didn't have much potatoes, carrots, etc). The rice was al dente and the salad was fresh. I would definitely come back to try some of their other curry dishes. The brulee matcha milk slush was not too sweet, although it was at the lowest, default 50% sweet level. It also delivered on the brulee! The brulee was creamy and rich. Towards the end of my drink, I ended up sipping just pure brulee (a rarity since most places tend to skimp). Parking is plentiful and shared with SF Market, CVS, and other small shops/restaurants in the plaza.

Not bad for dinner. seems like a cute family owned business with lots of options. Service was on the slower side but it seemed like there was only 1 or 2 people making drinks and cooking the food. we tried the popcorn chicken, pork cutlet curry, biscoff matcha and double matcha. Total: $48- a little pricy imo. popcorn chicken- 7/10, could've been crunchier and had more seasoning but generous portion size pork cutlet curry with egg- 8/10 solid option, would probably get again. Great portion size and very filling biscoff matcha- 4/10 not a fan, not a very strong matcha flavour. could be better if there was a stronger matcha ratio. double matcha- 8.5/10. best thing we ordered. matcha was strong and sweet which is how i like my matcha.

I actually love how cute this place looked. It was super unique inside adorable all over just as I saw it on Instagram. The influencers made it look super super cute. I don't think it's the best place for larger groups really great for best friends people who just wanna you know get together or something small even during the daytime is a better time to go. I went at night probably an hour before they close and there was no one there. We had great service. The food was still piping hot and amazing but there was like literally no one there, and I think that they waited till we left before they close, which I felt really bad about but love the place!! Everyone there was so friendly and we got our food super fast. Super easy to order there's a little kiosk in the front that you can go through all the different desserts all the different entrées. I think me and my sister both got the curry and then my mom got another one of their rice plates with maybe some seafood or shrimp. Everyone said it was amazing. We are all gonna go back. I just don't think it's one of those restaurants where you're going to feel like you're in a regular restaurant. It's very casual very small and very intimate so go with the Bestie go with your friends, but don't expect it to be a reservations only or that type of place otherwise love the food super solid curry. The flavoring was amazing. Nothing too spicy and I think the portions were just right a must go again.

Tucked away in a small plaza next to Nogales high school. Love the music this restaurant plays. It's really more of a boba drink shop that sells food rather than a curry restaurant. I got the fish cutlet with curry. The fish portion size was generous. I enjoyed this one. The curry spice level 1 was really spicy to me but the curry quality is good. Popcorn chicken was okay. I can skip. We also got the curry beef udon which was a solid 4/5. The pork katsu sandwich was good. Overall, I'd come again. It's quiet and clean. Food solid. Will try the drinks next time.

I had a great first experience here. I thought the portions are quite good for the price that you pay. First thing to mention is that this place is not that big. If you have 4 people then it should be easy to fit. The staff were nice and it seems like it is family owned. The fish filet sandwich was really good! Just go for it! I enjoyed their curry as well, we got the pork katsu, I just wish that they had some of those red radish or green cucumber pickles, that would go quite well with the curry! I noticed buzz and woody has moved here from Andy's room. Will definitely come back if I am in the area! Until next time!

Yeah again, a hidden gem tucked away in West Covina right across Nogales High School. This small mom and pop cafe surprised us in the best way! The curry was absolutely delicious, and I tried eel with curry for the first time - what a fun and rare combination. You can tell everything is made with care. My wife loved that they offer a vegetarian curry option, and she enjoyed it that we are already talking about coming back. Their drinks are on another level, we tried their coffee and it has that distinct, indescribable flavor that's so hard to resist. We honestly weren't expecting much when we walked in, but the food and drinks absolutely won us over! We'll definitely be back and highly recommend giving them a try.

Very chill spot, with soft jazz music. Located in a shopping center with an Asian supermarket, 37. 2° been here for many years. I think it's a family run business. It's very cozy, you can either order by touchscreen or by the counter. Many ways to customize ,your meal/drinks.. 100-75-50-25 -0 % ice , sugar, boba ( extra) as well as spicy level for the curry. I always stop by when I have a chance, there's also cute desserts (cakes) with different animal shapes.

Curry Fried Chicken Cutlet - fried perfectly. Chicken was juicy and tender. Hojicha Latte - nice light flavor and overpowering.

Food was delicious! Had the curry fried chicken cutlet and the meat was juicy and tender. Also had the Hojicha Latte whic was also great.

Since it was our first time there, we asked the waitress for suggestions on what to order and even how everything worked, and she was nice and helpful throughout the visit. One thing that already started the experience off confusing was that we were only given the regular menu with the QR code. Even though the all-you-can-eat option is advertised right at the front, nobody mentioned it to us at all. We only found out because we asked about it ourselves, and then suddenly they brought out a completely separate menu for the AYCE option. After trying it, I definitely don't think it was worth $40 per person. Another frustrating part was how ordering worked. There were three of us doing AYCE, and we asked for three different meats thinking we'd each try different items. Instead, they brought out three full orders of every single meat we mentioned without clarifying first. That immediately created pressure to finish everything because with AYCE you can get charged extra for leftovers. I really think they should ask customers if they mean one order of each item for the table or multiples of every item before bringing that much food out, especially for first-time customers. We tried the chicken, premium angus beef, and lamb. The chicken honestly had almost no flavor at all and felt pointless to even eat. The premium angus beef was decent, and the lamb was probably the best out of the three, but overall everything was still very bland. I don't eat pork, so we went with one of the vegetarian water-based broths since most of the others are pork based, and unfortunately that broth also tasted extremely plain. The sauces also didn't help much. Most of them had a really strong peanut flavor, and only one of the sauces was even decent, but it was still pretty bland overall. I honestly don't even know what any of them were because they just brought out multiple sauces without really explaining them to us. We even asked what we could add to spice things up and were given chili sauce, but somehow it still barely made a difference. I really wanted to like this place too because the food honestly looked great when it came out, but the flavor just didn't match the presentation at all. Their soda machine was also down during our visit, so there were no sodas available. On top of that, the table we were seated at felt really cramped and pushed right against the wall, which made eating uncomfortable. The restroom was another issue. When I went in, it was dirty enough that I had to clean up after someone else just to use it. The only real positive was that the all-you-can-eat option definitely filled us up, so we at least didn't leave hungry. I just wish the food had more flavor and spice because based on the pictures and the way people talk about this place, I expected a lot better.
