They had a technician (shout out Diego!) out before 7pm to diagnose the problem. In an hour, he realized that I either had a huge repair or a complete HVAC replacement on my hands. He called his supervisor, who came over within 30 mins. Mind you, it's now 8:30pm on a Saturday. Ray gave me all of my options and did not try to upsell me at all. In fact, he told me I did not need to even consider the two most expensive options, based on my house size and system. He explained everything very carefully and let me ask all the questions I could think of. And he told me that he could have a team at my house at 8am on Sunday (the next day!) to replace my entire HVAC system and it would be done by dinner time. They showed up at 8:04am and were done at 4:20pm. And the most unexpected thing was that Ray lent me his personal portable AC unit so that I could sleep in my house Saturday night and then have a cool room to hang out in while the team did their work. (I don't remember the names of the two men who did that hard work all day Sunday, but massive thank you to them. They put tarps down to protect my floors and they cleaned up everything after they were done.) The warranty comes with a 1-year warranty on labor, 10-years warranty on all of the parts, and for the first year, three complementary inspections. After that first year, for only $140/yr I can continue those three annual inspections (which I will obviously be doing). I now have ice cold AC and I could not be happier with this experience (even though a new HVAC is very expensive but obviously required to live in Vegas). You need HVAC work? These are the people you call.

The first call they came out, the tech said we need a new compressor because ours was old, okay thanks, landlord paid for the new compressor. Took them almost a week to come back, remember that's a whole week without cold air, during a Las Vegas heat wave. It was 95 degrees in our house. Techs got here at 10:30am and they didn't leave til 6pm. As they're installing the new compressor, they find a leak and something wrong with our disconnect, which the first tech failed to diagnose. So he didn't even fully properly diagnose what was wrong. The techs fixed the leak along with the compressor. We got cold air. Then 3 days later it's out again! We called first thing in the morning, they couldn't come til the next day. The same tech came (from the first diagnostic) and said it's the connector but sorry, he'll come back before the end of the day. Why? Because he has 13 other calls to make. I understand it's a busy day, but why would you leave a project unfinished???? I don't understand why you would accept calls in between your route from my house to the warehouse (to pick up the part) and back. It takes MULTIPLE calls to get through this office, you just have to call and call and wait til someone answers. I called the front desk to see if there's any other techs that they could assign to us a little faster since this tech said he won't be here till the end of the day. The front desk man said WITH ATTITUDE "if he said he'll be there, then he'll be there". I said okay he better be here. He then wants to pick a fight and say "he better? What if his truck breaks down?? what if he falls off a ladder?" I'm sorry, those are worse casenarios that I understand but the fact that you're even manifesting that is horrible. What about the fact that my family is inside a 95 degree household just cooking? What about if someone has a heatstroke? TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES HOW TO DO CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!!!
