Hieu Locksmith and a mom-and-pop locksmith located in Westminster. They offer mobile emergency locksmith service, but I recently came to the brick-and-mortar location in Westminster to have my car key fob battery replaced. [Parking & other notes]: Parking was easy within the strip mall. The brick-and-mortar is cash only but Zelle is also accepted. [Service]: I was greeted by an old gentleman who doesn't speak too much English (prefer Vietnamese) but knew enough words to get my service completed. I asked to change battery (and also pointed batteries on the display case) and he was able to replace it in less than 5 minutes. The total ended up to be $7. [Conclusion]: Fast and efficient service - two big thumbs up.

Great place to go if you lost your car key fob and need a replacement. Hieu sets the right expectations and helps you test everything before leaving the shop. Avoid going to the dealership where they'll ask you upwards to $500 to get your key replaced. He has OEM keys readily available and programs it to your car within minutes. Make sure you call first to set an appointment just in case he's not at the shop. Affordable pricing and very efficient. Also a great place to get your house keys copied. Highly recommend to anyone who needs another set of car keys. He has an option to pay through Zelle making it convenient.

When replacing your key fob for your car you quickly come to realize that the car dealership completely rips people off. They literally wanted to charge me $550. It's absolutely crazy but if you're desperate and don't know any better you'll fall into their trap and get striped of your hard earned money. I happened to find Hieu locksmith while I was spending the day in Westminster. Thank god I did because Mr Hieu and his son did a professional key replacement at a fraction of the price. The key itself was of higher quality than the original. He said that he could use the existing chip in the old fob ( as long as it wasn't damaged ) and refit it into the new key. He only charged me less than $30. I couldn't believe it. I did want an extra key so he did have to program that one and it wasn't all that much more. The honesty I experienced was truly refreshing to see and yes there are still honest people in the world. This place is worth any drive you need to take in order to get a new key. Thank you for the fast and friendly service you provided. I'll definitely come back anytime I need a replacement key.

So I ran out of my business office today to run an errand and as soon as I pushed the button lock and closed the door behind me I KNEW that I had left my office keys side at my desk. I went on yelp to locate a locksmith QUICKLY, as I needed to be back inside before my next client arrived. I located Hieu Locksmith, who responded within 2 minutes and after I spoke with him he arrived at my office with in 15 minutes. I didn't have any time to stress out. Thank GOD I found Chris! He saved me a lot of money to get my key made for my 2013 Chevy Camaro. I am definitely coming back to him to make more spare keys for my car. I was locked out of my garage because my remote was reprogrammed somehow. The garage handymen quoted me $180 to break in. I decided to call a locksmith instead and Chris was quick to arrive. I guess that with more people wearing running shoes, slides and not wearing "office" clothes & shoes , the demand for repair of quality long lasting leather shoes will fad into sunset. I guess "quality " does lead to obsolescence as the generations pass. It seems we tend to settle for the quick and easy for the sake of commerce and convenience. I'm glad for the experience of quality in the past but it's difficult to accept the mediocre that has been cropping up. I messaged about seven locksmiths about my Electric bike. The wife misplaced the key (don't tell her) and they all wrote that they "don't offer the service" Which is strange because it's a pretty standard lock nothing too complicated. I guess not too many people think outside of the box anymore. Anyhow, Christopher was awesome he agreed for me to bring it in and he spent about a half an hour working on it and made me a custom key. *** By appointment only ***…read more I initially came here on Sunday which I later realized the office door was locked. Luckily a gentleman named Sherwin was preparing his van and he was able to diagnose the issue on the spot. [Issue]: My car remote control was not working and somehow my car's windows kept rolling down. [Dianoise]: Sherwin said the issue was due to bad remote signal and not a battery issue. To fix the issue, he will need to reprogram my key. I told him that I can't do it right now so he removed the battery to prevent my car windows from automatically rolling down. He even showed me a trick on how to manually opening/closing windows with the physical key by (1) unlock the driver's door with the key and (2) within 10 seconds of returning the key to the central position turn the key in the unlock direction and hold it there. He didn't ask for any service fee but I still tipped the man. [Visit]: Couple days later I called the office number and asked for Sherwin. He eventually called back and we scheduled an appointment at my place. He stopped by my place with his van and was able to reprogram my key in approximately 15 minutes. The cost was $80 for one key and my remote key was working again. [Conclusion]: Sherwin is the man - amazing service and very friendly person to talk to.
