Hieu Locksmith and a mom-and-pop locksmith located in Westminster. They offer mobile emergency locksmith service, but I recently came to the brick-and-mortar location in Westminster to have my car key fob battery replaced. [Parking & other notes]: Parking was easy within the strip mall. The brick-and-mortar is cash only but Zelle is also accepted. [Service]: I was greeted by an old gentleman who doesn't speak too much English (prefer Vietnamese) but knew enough words to get my service completed. I asked to change battery (and also pointed batteries on the display case) and he was able to replace it in less than 5 minutes. The total ended up to be $7. [Conclusion]: Fast and efficient service - two big thumbs up.

Great place to go if you lost your car key fob and need a replacement. Hieu sets the right expectations and helps you test everything before leaving the shop. Avoid going to the dealership where they'll ask you upwards to $500 to get your key replaced. He has OEM keys readily available and programs it to your car within minutes. Make sure you call first to set an appointment just in case he's not at the shop. Affordable pricing and very efficient. Also a great place to get your house keys copied. Highly recommend to anyone who needs another set of car keys. He has an option to pay through Zelle making it convenient.

When replacing your key fob for your car you quickly come to realize that the car dealership completely rips people off. They literally wanted to charge me $550. It's absolutely crazy but if you're desperate and don't know any better you'll fall into their trap and get striped of your hard earned money. I happened to find Hieu locksmith while I was spending the day in Westminster. Thank god I did because Mr Hieu and his son did a professional key replacement at a fraction of the price. The key itself was of higher quality than the original. He said that he could use the existing chip in the old fob ( as long as it wasn't damaged ) and refit it into the new key. He only charged me less than $30. I couldn't believe it. I did want an extra key so he did have to program that one and it wasn't all that much more. The honesty I experienced was truly refreshing to see and yes there are still honest people in the world. This place is worth any drive you need to take in order to get a new key. Thank you for the fast and friendly service you provided. I'll definitely come back anytime I need a replacement key.

I really loved his work, he was fast, efficient, and if there's any doubt in anything he lets you know and answers your questions in all honesty. I highly recommend coming to Hieu Locksmith. I had to get a duplicate for my sidewinder key and he gave me the best price I could find. Best believe I searched across Orange County too. You are not going to find a better estimate other than here. The service was quick and easy and he even taught me a little bit about what he was doing as well. Our business was having issue with one of our door locks (commercial), key was getting stuck. I finally had enough and went to find a locksmith. Hugh answered my call on the first ring. When I explained the situation, he gave me a quote and said he would be there in 30 minutes. To my amazement he arrived in 20 and was done in 10. Lock has never been better. I requested and received a quote and upon confirmation of availability, went to Christopher's shop and was received right away, no waiting at all! Christopher went to work and had my keys programmed and working with my Toyota Tundra truck in about 10 minutes. About 10 minutes more my keys were cut and tested and all was good ! We needed to get our key copied for an old Lexus. We had bought the blank key from Amazon and he copied it for us for a very reasons on price! After talking to him, I realized, all of our car key issues can be resolved by him. We've lost both FOBs for our other cars and paid a premium price to have them rekeyed. He is friendly, open on the weekends (wow!) and seems to be able to resolve any key issue you might have. I'm coming here first any time I have key issues!! read more

I messaged about seven locksmiths about my Electric bike. The wife misplaced the key (don't tell her) and they all wrote that they "don't offer the service" Which is strange because it's a pretty standard lock nothing too complicated. I guess not too many people think outside of the box anymore. Anyhow, Christopher was awesome he agreed for me to bring it in and he spent about a half an hour working on it and made me a custom key. *** By appointment only ***…read more I initially came here on Sunday which I later realized the office door was locked. Luckily a gentleman named Sherwin was preparing his van and he was able to diagnose the issue on the spot. [Issue]: My car remote control was not working and somehow my car's windows kept rolling down. [Dianoise]: Sherwin said the issue was due to bad remote signal and not a battery issue. To fix the issue, he will need to reprogram my key. I told him that I can't do it right now so he removed the battery to prevent my car windows from automatically rolling down. He even showed me a trick on how to manually opening/closing windows with the physical key by (1) unlock the driver's door with the key and (2) within 10 seconds of returning the key to the central position turn the key in the unlock direction and hold it there. He didn't ask for any service fee but I still tipped the man. [Visit]: Couple days later I called the office number and asked for Sherwin. He eventually called back and we scheduled an appointment at my place. He stopped by my place with his van and was able to reprogram my key in approximately 15 minutes. The cost was $80 for one key and my remote key was working again. [Conclusion]: Sherwin is the man - amazing service and very friendly person to talk to.
