I had long suspected that my 16 year old AV receiver was not giving me the optimum sound from my more recent higher end Speakers. I also expected that anyone I would call to find that out would encourage me to upgrade to a 4k AV receiver. I called for a quote from Karim at High Def just to come out to review the receiver setting and hookups to check the settings on the receiver. He emailed me right away that he could come in 2 hours and emailed a few more times to update me on his ETA. He was right on time. He is a personable, knowledgeable young man. He explained that the equipment I have was quite adequate to give me great sound even though the receiver is old. He determined that the speakers were not in sync and proceeded to correct that. What can I say? These guys are absolutely amazing. After purchasing a brand new TV on Black Friday, I was originally going to use the stand but then decided to have it mounted on the wall. After shopping around and dealing with a few other (rude and overly expensive) vendors, I stumbled upon High Def Solutions. On the phone, Karim was extremely polite and insightful, he gave me a great quote and answered every question I had. They were able to come and see me later that same day, which was very convenient as I wanted to use my new TV ASAP. They arrived on time and I showed them the TV and where it needed to be mounted. Karim was extremely thorough and explained to me everything they were going to do. He also gave me some advice on placement and little tricks to hide the cords. He assembled the mount very quickly and had all 60 inches of it, up on the wall in no time. The previous owner of my house had it wired for surround sound. For whatever reason, when they sold it they covered the wires, patched the holes and painted. It was an 800 sq Ft room with high walls so the wires could have been anywhere. Karim came in and found each of the wires only drilling one hole for each wire even when he got no signal from two of the wires to know where they are. Karim and Michael did an amazing job! We recently cut the cord and needed a little help working out the bugs. They moved our router, put up an outdoor antenna, and mounted 2 TVs. This required hours of work, including a climb on the roof, and crawling around in the crawl space below the house. Karim ran a bit late, but communicated with us and kept us informed about his ETA- not a problem. He arrived at about 7pm and took about 1.5 hours to complete the job (he was without his assistant), which included hanging the TV over a fireplace and also hiding the cables from view.
