I think they closed. They don't answer their phone, their website is expired and the truck is not parked in the parking lot as of 11/12/20

Also had a side of the sweet potato fries. Friendly, high energy place, service is counter pick up, so nothing too special there. Note: Happy hour from 2 to 5 PM Monday through Thursday had good prices on drinks and several appetizers.

We were considering getting cocktails but decided to just get soda because we didn't want to deal with another line and transaction. I imagine other people feel similarly so they may be losing sales due to this odd arrangement. We both had burgers- I had the jalapeño popper burger which was excellent and my fiancé had the cheddar burger. Burgers are so huge and served with a ton of lettuce and tomato and piled high on a brioche bun. The bun and the apricot BBQ sauce were the best. Real jalapeños and cream cheese. A manager came over to chat with me after we finished and we were just finishing up our sodas and she was super nice and cared to hear our feedback. Bathrooms were also very nice and clean. The soda is self serve but we got our burgers very quickly- it is not table service- you retrieve them at the kitchen counter when your number is called on their speaker system. Look forward to returning here! Really nice experience- they also have both indoor and outdoor seating on a patio.

The egg was cooked perfectly, the spice level had just enough kick without turning lunch into a personal challenge. The silkiness of the egg is one of my favorite additions to any burger.  I've also had the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches in the past, and I'd recommend both. This place knows its way around meat without making it complicated. The sweet potato fries are another win crispy, hot, and not doing that sad limp fry thing that ruins everyone's afternoon. Overall, this is a staple Sedona burger stop for me. If you're coming off the trails and want something satisfying, this is the move. It can get very busy in the afternoon on the weekend, so just be aware that the wait can vary.

It's a casual eatery with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, but make sure to plan your visit as they have limited hours and will run out of popular items fast. Hours are 11am-5pm, and when we arrived around 4pm ish, they were out of potato salad and coleslaw. Ordered: 1/2 rack pork ribs- about 6 ribs, slightly chewy on the outside, but tender and fall of the bone at the same time, and doused in their sweet tangy BBQ sauce. The Stud burger- yum! Delicious burger with 3 large onion rings, bacon, cheese, BBQ sauce , and special bun. We chose their sweet potato fries instead of regular and omg they were some of the best we have ever had so far. Highly addictive. House salad- we shared the more than generous fresh green salad with home made croutons. You can tell their thousand island dressing was home made as well. We really enjoyed our all around really good meal! We were hoping to make it back another day, but after long day of hiking, they were closed. Bummer Good food and very reasonably priced.

When we got there, it made some of the non food related reviews I'd read even funnier because this is just a good ole roadside place, doing bbq right, living its most authentic life. You could tell other people were put off by the "greasy menu" or the mismatched tables and chairs and the funky decor but what they should've been paying attention to was the absolute takeover of your senses when you walked in from the smell of the meats. That's the real measure of a bbq place. As soon as you opened the door you were just in a cloud of meaty aroma. We shared the three meat smaller with brisket, sausage and pork belly. For sides we got the potato mac, mac and cheese and coleslaw. The pork belly was incredible, star of the show. The brisket had great flavor but it was more of a lean brisket, so take a peek as you're ordering to see if that's what you prefer to avoid disappointment. Sausage was a good size. Mac and cheese was hearty. The potato mac was noodle based, reminded me of the potato salad you get a lot in Hawaii. You definitely leave as full as you want to be. They didn't have desserts (which was not our compliant but rather a woman in front of us who couldn't believe they didn't have a cobbler or a banana puddin of some kind). As we were sitting and eating, a constant stream of people came through and they did run out of the brisket and some side dishes. The location is right next to a campground so it seems like everyone pops over for lunch or an early dinner so they don't have to drive anywhere. There is a bar also and an outside eating area (when it isn't 100 degrees out).
