They have a decent selection of exoterra and biodude (which I've never seen in store before) I didn't spot as many enclosures as I'd like, but they definitely had a great selection of every to go inside. It looks like the store has plenty of room to fill up as they become more established. They also had a good selection of feeders that you don't see as often, like fruit flies and dubia roaches. Prices seem fair and everything is clean and labeled with a price. ( my biggest pet peeve is no prices on the enclosures.)

When you walk in it REALLY smells like a pet store. But it looked clean and the tanks were clean. Some did seem really small for the animals they had in them. That did make me feel bad for the animals. The staff was nice. I didn't have any questions for them so I'm not sure how knowledgeable they are on everything. They did show me their new store cat who is very cute and they said the back area is very large for him. The pricing seems comparable to other places I've been as well as some online places I've looked into.

The employee inside was super nice and let me know that when I'm ready to come with my family that we should get tickets online because they are a few dollars cheaper. The following weekend I brought my 2 year and 1 year old boys. As far as animals go, as the name suggests they have a wide variety of lizards, turtles, snakes, spiders, and more. When you enter, you're assigned a "guide" that walks you through and talks about pretty much any animal you want them to. At certain points, they selects animals to pull out of their cages and you're given the opportunity to touch or hold them. The inside of the building is kinda cramped and not really set up to be a guided zoo experience and there are so many cages that it would take a week to be able to see them all. I have it understood that scales and tails puts on traveling shows for birthdays and such and my guess would be that this is its primary form of business nd the tours given at the facility are really just chances to donate to help them keep things running. I don't say any of this as a bad thing though. I'm certain that the experience you have is highly tailored to your desire to learn about more animals and you can probably ask to hold a lot more than we did. Once the tour is completed you are able to just hang out and keep checking out the animals for what seems to be however long you want. Two of the highlights for us were the large alligator "darthgator" and the opportunity for our whole family to hold a 10ft python. I highly recommend to anyone with or without kids to come check it out at least once. It's a cool experience that you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere else.

Just when I found a groomer I loved, they would end up leaving or getting fired. Something is up with that store! Perhaps poor management? AGAIN, I'm left scrambling for a new groomer! They never let you know in advance. I was told by the store manager that they can't call all of those appointments that are scheduled 3 months out. If you don't mind getting a new groomer all the time, you might not mind the constant changes. I won't be going back. Pretty disappointing and truly they act like they don't really care.

There is not a boring inch in the whole facility as they even decorate their employee access doors with intricate art work. Tasteful planters everywhere. It was $13 for a pub smash burger and drink and fries. Only a couple of bucks more than a #1 at In-N-Out. It was really tasty! Bun was homemade delicious. The fries were exceptional. They had a lot of animals that isn't usually common to see at an Aquarium. I saw huge roaches (YEEUUCKKKK), they had a snow leopard, a Komodo dragon, sea otters and some more. Where the sea otters are it looked like the beautiful formation rocks in Utah. We had such a good time.
