Pricy for average but rememberyou are in Sikverton. Good Angus burgers. Poor onion rings, ok fries. Coke products.

Great friendly service here. I didn't have cell-service and I really wanted to look this place up before ordering from them but couldn't. The Buffalo burger took way too long and it was extremely subpar for the $15 price tag, I've had better cafeteria food unfortunately, honestly even Burger King is better...

    Double cheeseburger with soda

Too pricey for what it offers. $19 got us a pretty basic cheeseburger and a soda. Assumed that the $12 burger would include a side of fries. The food was fine but it's priced way above what it is. Inflation must have hit pretty hard.

    25 minute cheeseburger and fries.

I imagine a lot of Silverton, Colorado survives on the Durango & Silverton railroad. After 3.5 hours riding the train from Durango, pretty much everything by the depot are restaurants. They didn't have a big line, so I stopped in here without looking at Yelp first. Other reviews are pretty spot on. The staff was five star to me. Unfortunately, that was really the only good thing that stood out. It took 25 minutes for my cheeseburger and fries. Too be honest, the best way for me to describe the food was an elementary school lunch. I think the photo captures that. The location was ideal because it was across from the train depot, but there was nothing memorable enough to either bring me back or recommend.

    Huckleberry Ice Cream

The only place in Silverton that had huckleberry ice cream...and it was delicious!! A high school student waited on us. She was pleasant and professional. With so many businesses closed or with limited hours due to the lack of staff, we told her we appreciated her being there and working.

Not worth it. Over priced for boiled hot dogs and frozen burger patty's. Only draw was our kids wanted to see the train come and go.

The restaurant was very busy when we arrived, but they got us seated much faster than we expected. Even with only two waitresses who were also handling hostess duties, the service was outstanding. They stayed friendly, attentive, and kept everything running smoothly. We ordered the one egg, potatoes, and biscuit combo, along with the pancake, potato, and bacon plate. Everything arrived hot and in a very reasonable amount of time. The potatoes were well-seasoned and full of flavor, and the biscuits tasted fresh and homemade. The pancake and bacon rounded out a delicious breakfast. The prices were very fair, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and they also offer outdoor seating if you want to enjoy the mountain air. Overall, this is an excellent breakfast spot in Silverton, and we'd happily eat here again!

If you're visiting on the Durango & Silverton train, I recommend heading there promptly upon arrival, as the restaurants in town fill up quickly and long wait times can consume much of your limited time in Silverton. The café serves breakfast and lunch, opening at 7am, stop serving breakfast at 10:40 a.m. and closing at 2:30 p.m. During my visit, I ordered the Frito Pie, a dish featuring chili topped with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and Frito corn chips. While it was enjoyable, it lacked the level of spice I had expected from a Southwest Colorado specialty. My son ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and described it as decent. For dessert, I was fortunate to get the last slice of apple pie available, although they had already run out of whipped cream. The interior has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, but seating is limited and there is no air conditioning. Since temperatures reached 82°F during our visit, we opted to sit outside. Service was average, but the food arrived quickly, which was appreciated. One of the biggest advantages of dining here was avoiding the long lines that had formed at other restaurants. As we walked back to the train station, we noticed many people still waiting to be seated and served. Overall, this is a good option for train passengers looking for a convenient meal in Silverton, especially if you arrive early enough to beat the crowds.

I see pizzas and Panini's being delivered to tables and it all looks pretty legit. Looks like great unique pizzas on the menu, a couple of classics, and you can build your own, which is pretty cool. Instead of being welcomed, we were immediately interrogated by the woman at the front, then questioned again by the bartender. We were seated and left sitting there for 30 minutes without a single person taking our order or offering service. Our waitress even apologized and admitted she "hates that she can't help us," making it obvious the staff had intentionally decided not to serve us. Throughout the entire time, my service dog was exactly where a service dog should be--quietly lying under the table at my feet, causing absolutely no disruption. After waiting half an hour, I finally asked if we were ever going to be served. That's when we were told the issue was my service dog. When I questioned this, the bartender's response was to tell me I "didn't need an attitude." I've written maybe five Yelp reviews in my life, but this experience deserves to be shared. The way we were treated was humiliating, discriminatory, and completely unacceptable. It felt like we were being singled out simply because I have a disability and rely on a service animal. All six of us got up and left because of how we were treated. Small businesses deserve support when they treat people with respect. This business did the opposite. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I sincerely hope no one else has to experience the kind of discrimination we did.

We ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, the strawberry walnut salad, and the half order of chicken. The salad was fresh and tasted really good. I liked the vinaigrette that was offered. I also really liked the chicken sandwich. It tasted great with the fries after a long day of exploring and hiking. I'd definitely come back. Although there was a group of 12 ahead of us, our wait was just 10 mins as they were pretty good about crowd management. The inside decor is super cool with taxidermy animals everywhere. We saw bobcat, mountain lion, mountain sheep, and all kinds of animals that you would expect to live in Colorado. There were super funny signs everywhere (my favorite was the oats one). The disappointment was the food portion size. I ordered a reuben sandwich for $19 which came with a very skinny portion of meat between two small pieces of toast. We barely got maybe 10 fries with it. For $19 I expected the portion size to be a little bigger. Their draft beer were on the smaller size at 12 oz instead of the standard 16oz. Come here to checkout the cool wall decorations and maybe get a drink but skip the food. If a real cowboy walked into this saloon, he would be pretty angry by the portion size and probably start a bar fight!
