The large hanging flowers outside and people seating having ice cream and burgers was appealing to me, since we just got off the Durango train. We have two hours here, to have lunch and shop and I was hungry. When we went in to order our food, many train customers were already lining up to order. I just found seats in a shady spot, outside, and decided to take that. The service was quicker than expected, knowing how crowded they were. Hubby's Chili Cheese Dog was really good and I got extra mustard on my hamburger. They were the best we've had in a long long time! Negative: Since the restrooms were shared by the ice cream shop, there's a line. One lady, who was twice bigger than me, was having problem getting dressed, because the stalls were as big as being inside a Honey Bucket, if you know what I mean? They didn't have a big line, so I stopped in here without looking at Yelp first. Other reviews are pretty spot on. The staff was five star to me. Unfortunately, that was really the only good thing that stood out. It took 25 minutes for my cheeseburger and fries. Too be honest, the best way for me to describe the food was an elementary school lunch. I think the photo captures that. Went there recently. I ordered a chicken sandwich. Took FOREVER to get it, but worse than that, when I bit into it, I thought I was eating a piece of cardboard that had been microwaved 2-3 times. I opened up the bun to find a stale, disgusting slab of something that didn't look like chicken at all. No extras, no seasoning, nothing...but a poor excuse for a rotten sandwich. While traveling home from our engagement anniversary trip to Ouray Colorado, we found probably one of the cutest towns I've ever seen -Silverton, Colorado! Within the town was a western themed burger joint called High Noon Burgers. It's a busy place, with a very efficient staff. It serves your basic burgers and dogs with sides, nothing too fancy. They know how to do simple just right though! I ordered the cheeseburger and fries, and my sweetheart ordered the double cheeseburger and onion rings. We both thought our burgers were well made. The buns didn't fall apart in our hands! That was worth double kudos right there. There's nothing worse than a great tasting burger that disintegrates half way through eating. The fries and onion rings were nice and crispy, plus there were free refills on the drinks. They also sell icecream, but we were too full from the burgers to partake. One of the best things about the place was the fact that the narrow gauge railrood that stops nearly right outside the door. We both love trains, so that was a great perk. It was a simple place, but the great attitude of the crew, and the awesome companionship of the most wonderful man in the world made it a really great place to visit! I recommend it. read more

This hamburger joint is just what we needed when visiting. There is a ice cream parlor attached which was perfect after eating our meal. Awful! Overpriced! I read the yelp reviews too late this time. The main driving force behind this review is the salad they had the audacity to serve me and charge me $7 for. I get better , and cheaper, salads from fast food restaurants. I have actually never had a salad this bad. It was maybe a half of a cup of ice berg lettuce in a tiny paper tray with a bunch of Colby jack pizza cheese and a mushy tomato slice. This is a wonderful little burger joint. My husband and I got the soup and chili and we found it absolutely delicious! If you get the chance to try it, definitely do so! It was also a great quick bite to eat and gave us more time to explore the little town before getting back on the train.
